Late night on East Coast NA, but I felt inspired. If the thread exists already please link, I am on mobile and don’t navigate here often this way. As the title says: let’s all make some new mechanics.
My submission is: Tranquil [activates once]
Designed for a custom Monk class, Tranquil-when a keyword on a minion- activates when the minion is in play, but skipped its initial attack opportunity. For instance any minion without Charge or Rush that has the custom keyword opts OUT of attacking its next turn (first opportunity to activate/use on board) and then gets some type of buff detailed in its Tranquil effect. If in example, the card is also Charge or Rush, skipping its potential to attack on its initial play turn will cause Tranquil to activate at the start of your next turn. As mentioned next to the mechanic it activates one time per play of the card and would require additional text to indicate multiple effects or keeping effects when bounced or returned.
End The Turn. A new keyword, basically ends the turn immeditiately when triggered. Like 3 mana 3/4 Deathrattle:End The Turn if it is your opponent's turn.
