I felt that annoy-o-warper should be a warrior card knowing how warrior has a lot of mech synergy. I had a hard time deciding how much the weapon would cost and it’s stats. Any thoughts?
Well, to celebrate the announcement of the new expansion, I decided to make cards based on it! One card for the good guys (mage) and one for the bad ones (warlock).
"Well, it seems Togwaggle wants more candle... Then he'll have to EARN it!"
"I like your soul... I think I'll take it!"
Thoughts about those ones? Not sure if they are too simple.
They're quite good in fact, it's my second favorite take on the Hero Power cards of this thread, just after linkblade's.
They only have one small mistake: the words "Guardian" and "Etheral" of their name should be capitalized.
Other than that, you should be able to reach the finals, IMO.
Thanks for the kind words, from the Hero Powers cards I also like a lot the ZiombalaBoms one, pretty original take on the theme :)
why do you think Dead man's hand is so powerful?.. it's not. 10 mana 5/5 lol easily underpowered as a 4 mana card.
the current last entry of a 1 mana 3/3 with a benefit amazes me, so do people who didn't read the rules.
They put them in your hand bro which doubles combo potential for the next turn(s). 4 mana would be soooooo broken :-/
Oh I thought it was to deck.. it didn't made sense for the 1 cost otherwise.. Should've read the whole text I guess I saw the first part and I instinctively linked it to DMH
The hunter cards is way too OP and the rogue card costs too much still, it's a rogue card after all, could cost 7-8 and be OK since it's not a spell like sprint so it can't be cheated out, but on the other hand we got hypemon, getting this with hypemon.. is well. HYPE.
1 mana 1/1 draw a card is broken, see Kobold Librarian, so draw 5 in potential?
The idea of these cards are, that the League of E.V.I.L. send in their spies in different part of Dalaran. In this case, Dr. Boom sends his spy to The Violet Hold, where as King Togwaggle sends his to The Underbelly. The idea is sort of similar to the Tar Creeper, Tar Lurker and Tar Lord theme. Even though these have the same card text, they serve a different purpose given their different mana cost.
Here's my first attempt. What are y'all's thoughts? Toothy basilisk is pretty similar to Carrion Drake, but I don't want to mess with the stats too much as making it too small makes it not feel like a big ol basilisk, and big cards don't really need poisonous. The weapon is also a rogue weapon, and rogues typically don't deal with dragon synergy, but there's only one class that deals with both dragons and poisonous (Hunter) so something's got to give.
I find it kind of hard to justify printing a card in the same set that you powercreep it, even if it is for different classes. The paladin secret is just Humility that you can't target, and thus is a really weak card, and the Hunter version is even weaker.
Déjà vu. The shaman weapon is more interesting, because if your opp doesn't have an ooze, your hero gets permanent Spell Damage +1.
Support for Healadin and Token/Beast druid. Those cards help you protect your board.
[edit] I can also make Pepe a 1 1/1 legendary with the same effect if I have to.
I really like the idea of giving your hero taunt. I'd go with those. An issue is giving a weapon this ability, as it isn't as easy to clear as minions, and could cause a serious in aggro decks. I think it's a shame in this prompt, that the cards need to have the EXACT same text, as Battlecry or Deathrattle would make for great variations, and could allow you to create a spell and a minion with interesting effects.
I'd rework to something: "After this attacks (the enemy hero), give your hero taunt until your next turn." and then lower the durability.
Regarding my cards - I'll see what I can do. I was and still am fully aware, that this makes board-centered paladin decks far favourable against other zoo decks. I just thought, that in some cases the weapon can be a big drawback. If you are playing from behind and your opponent starts to pressure you too much, this weapon makes your taunts useless. The 6 durability is hard to deal with and you have to re-equip another weapon fast. Not to mention, the Hooter is like Light's Justice with two extra durability and a beneficial/negative effect. If you think the effect is too beneficial than I'm picturing it, then I will lower its durability a bit. Inb4 what do you think of the bird - should it be an epic or should I make it a 1 mana 1/1 legendary (and call it "something, something Pepe")?
Regarding your cards - I'd rather you didn't rush posting them in the submission thread. On the one hand I like the idea of creating spies and swaping their positions with the opponent's minions, but I'm a bit worried that such effects are a bit too disruptive. This is MY PERSONAL OPINION ofc and I don't want to force it, if you don't agree. It will be really good if someone else gave you their feedback, so that you can have a more clear idea whether there is something problematic in the design.
The reason why I'm a worried is that the minions can highroll in many situations. Against taunt decks (Tar Creeper or Crypt Lord) the rogue not only "silences" the minion, but it takes control over it. So by stealing the sticky taunt minion, you also protect your minions from unfavourable trades in exchange for giving them a 2/2. Against big-hand decks like warlock or priest, stealing a Twilight Drake can feel very frustrating fpr your opponent. In the case of warrior the spy can go even further. I like how you didn't make it an 8-drop, so it can't steal big minions like the LK, but it can still answer a deathrattle minion or a big body (witchwood bear, amani war bar, velen...).
Honestly, I really don't know how I can help you this time around. If I propose any changes to the cost, the chances are that some of the cards would become unplayable. You will probably mention, that your cards are part of the Year of the Dragon sets, so some of the current powerful cards will rotate out before yours get implemented, but imho they would still cause a lot of frustration. And I'm not even going to talk about the wild format.
[edit] Oh, I also forget to mention how you can steal minion with buffs. Since paladin is the most famous class in this regard, imagine how you steal a 5/5 or 6/6 minion, which has a Blessing of Kings, and give your opponent a 2/2 in return.
Edit: sorry, was called for dinner, didn't have time to write earlier. I'm thinking these would have very different effects, due to class and mana costs. I think they're probably both busted af, but any feedback would be great.
p.s. had to rush the name of the hunter card too, may change it :-)
Cool idea but your right the Hunter Card is the most busted ive ever seen. Even if you have just 2 cards in hand this is a 1 mana cantrip but in most cases it is like drawing 2-5 cards because your hand nearly always is made out of cards you drew earlier (discorver effects are rare and most of the time give you good cards anyway). That card would break the game in a way no other did before. The right cost imo would be at least 4 mana even then it might be broken. The rouge card is too expensive but rouge legendarys need to be bad or its unrealistic anyway :)
@Kovachut. I like your hooter, lol. No seriously will upvote if comes in final poll. I skipped posting this weeks discussion because I feel bad I do not have time too much to give feedback. Therefore I wont post mine and ask for feedback either. Anyway good luck all.

Well, don't worry. I can give you a small feedback anyway.
1) The druid weapon is OP. Rogue needs to run envenom poison, in order to make their weapon kill other things. The bow already has this, it has 3 durability, it costs only 1 mana AND has another beneficial effect. I'm sorry, but this needs a complete change. Also - as a former WoW player, who mained feral druid back in Wotlk, I can say that druids can't wield bows. I don't know if this has changed after the Lich King expansion, but characters from this class can only use daggers, fist weapons, one-handed maces, polearms, staves, and two-handed maces.

Huge thanks for your feedback! I changed my original idea to this:
Sadistic demon synergizes with warlock theme of taking damage, while being a good card for zoo.
Void Emissary however synergizes with healing yourself and has combo potential.
So, what so you think?
I like supuders...!
@ComandateDango
Spells don't use battlecry.

I'm not sure if these are too strong?

Big fan of traps.

Damn... that's true...
But maaaaaaaaaaaybe they could...!
OK, yeah, I just fucked it up, my love for the spuders blinded me! XD
4/6 for 4 feels a bit dodge... is this a legendary ability for rogue? with kings bane i think it is, is 4/6 too much... 3/6?Went with the above.
