What's this?
After the release of KoFT I was thinking that the
Lich King
had to be a Hero Card too, it was his expansion and it was only playable as minion. Almost 50% of those cards weren't playable for the meta and the
Freeze
mechanic was useless for
lack of synergy
.
This cards just reflect
my idea
of how it could help the synergy in the game and give multiple options on the match. As well, only this card could
help new players
to understand the mechanics and win some matches.
Why Neutral?
As you can see, the reward bring multiple options
based on your playstyle
: Tempo, Control, Finisher (maybe combo Saurfang?) and Aggro. It could fit in any class, and as I said, it could help new players to understand those mechanics.
How does the Quest works?
- The words "destroy allied minions" only triggers on your turn, if your opponent kill it in his turn doesn't count.
- You can use spells, hero power or minion effects to destroy your own minions.
- After combat result, count as "destroy allied minions", after all it's your turn.
General view:
- Synergy with more
Freeze

- influence the total of
"cards on your hand".
- Some
spell resources

- Increase the chance to survive an aggro deck (lol).
So, here comes Death Knight Lunara! Hero Power is refreshing removal, if you can take that many damage, before it gets upgraded. Might look OP, but actualy it's realy slow and don't have any immediate affect on board.
Hope I'm not too late for this one. Quite like the idea of having a neutral "ring of power". 4 Mana Ragnaros hero power...yes please!!

In the vein of Light's Sorrow and Bolvar, Fireblood , The Call of Icecrown pushes Divine Shield paladin to the limits!
Themes: Quest, Hero Card , Unidentified Item
Tokens (the most important part!):
Bolvar gets sidelined by all the other cool Paladins and Death Knights. He's burning with jealousy.
Skulls are cool.
The Ebon Blade is short on horses for now.
