Hey they made my card. The entry I placed into 9.07 is now a card in Hearthstone. This means....
1. Blizzard uses ideas from the forum
2. This is the 3rd card created by Blizzard that use my ideas.
3. These contests seem to miss cards that have potential.
Play my card using the Paladin in the Tavern Brawl this week (Feb 27). Details below. They changed 2 things = less one cost for card, one more heart point. Everything else is the same. I give Blizzard exclusive rights to use any of my ideas. The secret is I have 100 better ideas ans i'm still waiting for them to give me a job. If you work for Blizzard.. contact me via personal message and request my hearthstone user ID. Then credit my account with 10000 dust as a show of appreciation.

Of course they do ! I made far far ago a card that swiped health and attack each turn the card is in your hand. Then WW happened ;o
The emblematic Tar creeper with bonus since its your turn was also an idea from this forum. I'm pretty sure 50% of the ideas they have come from here, but thats not a secret, a lot of people are saying this since years now :D
Thanks to all for the feedback, I think I just need to come up with something else. Other idea that has a bit more Warlock flavor:
Card art is temporary, I just needed a quick image. So say you have your The Lich King up and you trade, leaving him at say 8/2. You can then cast this on it, killing it and giving you two new 4/4 The Lich Kings.
Unfortunately, how you have this worded right now, it would not do what you are suggesting. That 8/2 Lich King would summon two 4/1 minions. If you want to go along this route, you will have to change it to "Summon two copies of it with half its original Attack and Health."
Can we institute a special "pun of the week" prize for this card, please? I am worried for the rest of us that this might win the whole competition, purely based on the quality of that pun.
That is not to say that it's a bad concept either. I love the flavour, and I am surprised we don't already have an effect like this in the game. However, I do think maybe it's a little overstatted for its effect. Maybe 3/6? Compare to other 6 mana taunts with powerful effects like Rin, the First Disciple and Jade Behemoth. But then, Warlock does tend to get crazy-powerful anti-aggro tools, so I guess it's on-brand.
1) I don't know how to make a good english text since the thing I want to say is pretty hard to resume. The idea is, if you have a 4/4 and a 6/3 in board, it will summon a 10/7 for you. Note that it does the same thing for your opponent (it does the sum then summon)
2) I REALLY don't know how to balance this. This is a card you want to play when you control the board. But the minion has no charge so maybe 8 is overcosted but it can create a very big minion so it creates a lot of danger.
Help :'( thanks !
Your card would probably be overcosted even if it didn't apply for the opponent, especially because the resulting minion doesn't have Taunt or anything like that.
I'd personally make it affect just you and word it like "Summon a Demon with the combined Attack and Health of all your minions." I'd also reduce the cost to 6 or 7.
Thanks to all for the feedback, I think I just need to come up with something else. Other idea that has a bit more Warlock flavor:

I hate to say this, but your card is very similar in concept to my card Divide and Conquer :/ I think this overlap will hurt both of us.

I might be missing something, but I don't see how the card name and its effect are related.
Woah, I didn't even look at names and assumed Thezzy's was another iteration of your card, Wailor. @Thezzy, yeah, I don't think that's okay. Definitely going to be some clash there.
With regards to rjcv's card, it's a pun based on "90-degree angle" and and "90 degrees Fahrenheit". So I assume what they're going for is that attacking the fiery angel causes a burst of flame that damages all enemies.

Didn't think it would be similar enough, but since Wailor posted his first, I'll come up with something else later.
I dont think your card is overcosted because there is Amalgamate, also there can be no opponent's minions if you control the board. I like the idea of it working for both players, maybe you can even rename it to "Math Project".
By the way i got an idea too,
First one is good because it can do more than just calculation : bypass secrets which can affect your lethal and bypass Nozdormu. While second one is better flavorwise, so which one do you like the most?
Sad to say that, but card made by blizzard was before yours. It was a card in Rumble Run, a PvE content for Rasthakan's Rumble, current Tavern Brawl is inspired by it.
Had a feeling this comp would inspire some pretty neat ideas :)
here are my ideas:
Thoughts?
What happen if minion that you target with Common Denominator has more than 1 keyword? Does it just choose randomly? It's way too OP anyway. A specific Discover that is flexible like this should cost 2 mana or it should only be able to target friendly minion.
Soul Subtraction is my favorite of the three. It allows for a lot of thinking and calculation of how to be best effective. I think it should be 3 mana since it will very likely deal 4 damage (Shadowbolt).
Was thinking of making some sort of equation in the text (not final card, just an idea):
I like this idea but not sure it'll be playable in Odd Warlock is not a deck. I'll probably just make it transform the odd cost cards themselves and not require the deck building effect (with cost reduction to be only reduced by 1).
How about this? Not sold on the artwork, and most of the time the boosts will either be +1 or +2 (unless you target a minion with 7 or more, then you go to eleven)
Edit: A new card with similar theme that makes more sense gameplay-wise. It discovers cards that cost 2, 3, 5 or 7.
Divide and Conquer, especially after your change, is the best card of the three. I'd go with it.
I'm not so good with super complex mathematics stuff, but I thought this might be able to count. What do you think? It's an equation after all. Also, what do you think of the art? I want it to be warlockish, but is it not sciencey enough?
I'm really confused about the name. Why is "Anti-life involve taking control of the enemy minion? Beside that, I think it should cost 8 mana compare to Mind Control

I like the idea, but I think it should only target friendly minions. Having it to potentially be a removal/debuff is just too strong for my taste. Cost can be dropped to 3.
Repost my cards for more feedback. Replace Truncated Elimination art with something more Warlock:
Mathematical Project: The idea is that it will turn the lowest cost card in both players hand into 10 mana, then the 2nd lowest cost card to 9 mana and so on until the final card. Really need help to word this correctly.
Truncated Elimination: Simple removal. Not sure if balance or not and which artwork I should pick. If anyone got a better art, please suggest to me.

I like Soul Subtraction the best, but it's kinda underpowered now, i think you should make similar to Shadow Bolt or Frost Bolt as @Shatterstar1998 suggested. Common Denominator is cool too, but it really should target only friendly minions. For Factorization, it would be better if it only gave you Warlock spells. Anyway, really good ideas!
@Shatterstar
Your Mathematical Project's wording is ok i guess, but i would add "respectively" at the end. Also, i think it's too overcosted, since it's effect balances itself easily. i would make it cost 4. For Truncated Elimination, well it's pretty cool and balanced. Unfortunately, i can't find any good arts:(

I called it the Anti-life equation because I based it off a concept of that same name from DC comics. It's an equation of mastering the universe that allows you to control people's minds. I've come up with another card possibility, however. Any feedback for this one?
Okay, third attempt, had two ideas this time, would love any feedback:
Mean Balance will evenly divide all the Attack and Health on the board between all available minions. Say there is an 8/8, 4/3, 7/5, 1/2 and 2/4 on the board. All put together that is 22/22. For five minions that would be 4.4/4.4, which rounded up would turn all minions to 5/5 stats.

There are people who frown on rounded up/rounded down as being too complicated for Hearthstone; it could lose you some upvotes. Calculated Strike is a much more simple and appealing card.

Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3
I think that Mean Balance should read: "Split all minions Attack and Health evenly among them (rounded up)" or something like that, so it would be more clear (As I believe, english isn't my main language). Anyway, good idea, I'd rather go with it than Calculated Strike (however I might be wrong, so better wait for more feedback), but I think it's overcosted (again, I can be wrong).
@GoliathTheDwarf
I like Anti-Life equation more, but, as Shatterstar said, you should raise it's cost a little, and change name to have more flavour (I won't help here, I'm actualy not good in such things).

Thanks, I wasn't entirely sure about Mean Balance myself. Although given the current challenge with Math related cards, rounding is kind of a given I guess. :P

Hearthstone card = Exactor of Justice (Paladin)
The hearthstone community has came up with hundreds of thousands of cards. Once in a while they are bound to be similar to cards that blizzard is releasing, especially when they are very simple concepts like yours (taking a class keyword and combining it with a new keyword).
I've created cards that were very similar to the later-released Amani War Bear, Spirit Bomb, Witchwood Piper, and others. A keyword I was tinkering with was identical to "stealth for one turn." Did blizzard hack into my phone and look at my notes? Of course not. Hearthstone is a simple game with simple keywords and cards. There's a limited number of simple ideas to toss around.
