By the time Blackrock Mountain released, there was not much resurrect priest support: no
Barnes
, no
Shadow Essence
, no
Zerek's Cloning Gallery
, and no other resurrect cards except
Resurrect
itself. I hope this card could lead resurrect priest into another deck archetype; not one that cheat out big minions in early games, but one that focuses more on minion trading.
This generates a
Grim Patron
with its usual effect (so the Grim Patron summoned will summon another Grim Patron if it survives damage). But be warned that the Grim Patron summoned by this spell can attack either friendly or enemy minions at random. This means that each new Grim Patron summoned by this spell could simply attack and destroy (and be destroyed by) one of your existing Grim Patrons on the board, thereby ending the chain.
There's a Grim Patron which triggers when takes damage and survives and That dwarf which triggers when taking damage and deals 2 damage to an enemy hero, so let's continue the cycle of taking damage! Some clarification: Legendaries are summoned on this side of Grimstone where is the minion which took damage, so it won't be so broken with taunts.
If you played WoW before, you would be aware of the Brewfest event and the very specific quest called
Down With The Dark Iron
. Normally your mission is to defend the camp from the dark iron dwarfs, but in this case we are playing as them. We have to infiltrate local towns and steal their beer.
The Brewfest Brew is a very strong alcoholic bevarage, so you have to kill enemy minions before you attack with your buffed boozers. Or you can also make your opponent's minions drunk and screw up their next trades. You might also save yourself from lethal, if they fail to hit your face.
Comparable to Arcanosmith , but slightly less stat-effective due to the high-rolly nature of the effect (at the time you could get Cairne Bloodhoof or, fittingly, Ragnaros the Firelord ).
Custom cards :
CLASSES : Alchemist (CCC#5 | Phase V) | Chef (CCC#4)
EXPANSIONS : Year of the Scorpion (Year Comp)
"Costs (1) less for each minion that died this turn" is one of Blackrock Mountain's main mechanics. I referred to Revenge of the Wild for balance since these cards often cost (2) more than their counterpart: Arcane Intellect & Solemn Vigil , Dragon's Breath & Shadow Bolt .

Thanks to Kovachut and ChildOfTheAtom for their feedback.

Heroes also attack the minion.
A powerful taunt with a potentially deadly drawback (or bonus, if you're outclassed!)
