Create three cards to highlight the three expansions of Teknician's Year of the Gryphon! Pick one of the two choices for each card - or both, if you're feeling crazy.
Card 1 - Greetings from the Great Seas:
1) Treasure synergy i.e. Treasure cards that are at the bottom of your deck/bottom of deck interaction
2) Holiday, where an aura effect is applied to your hero on your next turn
Card 2 - Blood of the Zandalari:
1) Sacrifice effects (explanation of keyword, choosing to destroy the minion if it can attack instead of attacking)
2) Enchantment related effects (keep enchantments, return to hand with enchantments etc.)
Card 3 - Trouble at the Sunwell:
1) Surge effects: Bonus if played the turn it's added to your hand
2) If you spent all your Mana last turn, do something

Discussion Topic Rules
To make sure that everything runs smoothly, we need to reserve the Submission Topic for submissions only. Everything else goes here. What is everything else, you might ask?
Rules or Process. Do you have a question about the competition's process? Do you need clarification about one of the entry requirements? Are you not sure whether your entry adhered to the rules? Ask here!
Feedback or Ideas. Do you have some ideas you'd like to run by others before settling on one? Do you need help balancing or wording your entry? Do you need help finding art that will fit your card? Or do you just want feedback from the community on your entry? You're in the right place! Remember, although you are allowed to make minor tweaks to your entry after you've submitted it, you're only allowed one submission per week, so make sure that you've settled on your card for sure beforehand.
Discussion! Do you have thoughts on other people's entries? Are there directions you don't like that you're seeing too many people take? Or directions you'd like to see more people take? Would you like to help others and contribute to a greater community understanding of Hearthstone card design and balance? This is where you want to be!
All of that said, please refrain from the following:
Posting TONS of Ideas. Discussion topics become an absolute mess if everybody is posting a dozen different ideas. Please post not more than 3 distinct ideas at a time. Any more than that and we'll have to delete your post.
Advertising Your Entry. Please don't pop in here just to advertise your entry only to never be heard from again. This includes only asking short, generic, or insincere questions like "Thoughts?" or "Do you think this is interesting?". Yes, getting feedback on your entry is one of the purposes of this topic, but we're not just here for other people to help you. We're here for you all to help each other. 12 hours after this competition begins, there should be plenty of other posts here for you to give specific feedback or for you to comment on a trend. If you post your entry for feedback after this time and do not also offer some form of substantial commentary, critique, or praise of others' work, you may find your post deleted.
Plagiarism. Many people post their ideas here before finalizing them in the submission topic. Directly plagiarizing those ideas to post in the submission topic yourself is absolutely not acceptable.

As teknician used special watermarks for their expansion, we're fine if you take the easy way out and put "None" on there. It's under "Custom" watermarks, on the bottom right.
Also, I should really emphasize that people need to rein in their card sizes. Three cards is a lot more than normal, so they all need to fit on one line, please and thank you.
Anyway, here are my three. I tried to honor the class themes for that particular expansion, in chronological order:
Expansion 1 - Warlock self-damage. Set up a powerful swing turn where you bash yourself repeatedly.
Expansion 2 - Warlock Sacrifice effects. Kilnara allows you to proc them via normal combat, or double-up when you Sacrifice normally.
Expansion 3 - It's not really based on the archetype so much as I like the idea of the Surge. Was going to go three-for-three with the Warlock but it felt better in Warrior.
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3

I think Legion's Holiday would be more interesting and less dangerous if it damaged your opponent's minions instead.
Also, Press the Attack! should be 5 Mana at least. Compared with Assassinate, this one costs 1 less and has a potential upside.

I really like the latter two, but Legion's Holiday feels a little too uninteractive. Maybe you could change it to this:
On your next turn, deal damage equal to the amount your opponent dealt to your hero last turn
Here are my cards. Two of them are inspired or directly copied from my own cards for the Class Creation Competition :P
The amount of different ways I've seen this effect balanced is insane. I've seen it on a 3 mana spell, and I've seen it on a 1 mana 1/3 minion. I priced it as a 2 mana spell. Tek priced it as a 2 mana 2/2 minion.

I spent some time going through Teknician's cards, so that I could get a clear view of what I should do in this comp (or what I should aim for). I have to hand it to him, that the effort he put in designing those cards is amazing and the flavour is off the charts. However I kinda encountered some flaws, which I need to share with you guys (since we have to design cards featuring some of Teknician's keywords):
Also Teknician mentions a spell called Beach Time, which aims to compensate the advantage of having a 29-card deck. I am not going to say anything against it, but can a mod pls put it in the description, so that other users become aware of this token spell?
so this is probably my line up. i wanted to make a set with synergy. lore wise rockpool murlocs worship neptulon so i got some lore there. i made an elemental equivalent to doomsayer cause i can and i thought having a treasure that mades elementals gain more value over the long term was a nice touch since treasures are the last card in your deck.
Well, I need some time before I come up with good ideas. For now I came up with this:
Are the stats ok? And does someone have an art of a beast with a bloated belly? I think I need a better flavour.
Its flavour text would even be - His burp is worse than his bite.
This is quite painful, because the flavour of a burping dude fits the card perfectly and makes it excellent instead of just alright. However, it doesn't really fit a Blood Elf-themed expansion :(

Reckless Fireslinger is definitively your best card.
Totem of the Elements is solid too, but it needs a Totem tribe tag, and a better name.
The only one that I don't find interesting at all is Rockpool Worshiper.
What do you guys think about this? I think it is not too op,since even if the board gets Hellfire or Reckless Flurry and trigger the overkill. The overkill should proc before the minions disappear from death, meaning less minion because the board is limited to 7 spaces. Commanding shout is so that we can have minions on the brink of death (1 health) so it is easier for the ability to proc. Also is it ok to have a Blackrock Mountain watermark on it?

Thx again for your feedback. I kinda agree with you that the orc doesn't fit an expansion around blood elves, but I wanted to design a good card around the "If you spent all your Mana last turn" effect. I went through a lot of adjectives like "Infused", "Charged", "Powered", but only "Well-Fed" stood out as the most interesting one. I think my card, which will represent Trouble at the Sunwell, will be the orc (or a beast, if I manage to find a good artwork), since I care more about the flavour than the expansion thematic. Anyway:
Here are my cards. Two of them are inspired or directly copied from my own cards for the Class Creation Competition :P
I don't like any of the names, so any alternative suggestion will be welcome.
Also, Rastakhan's Champion uses the same art as Gloryseeker, but there are not many troll Paladin artworks out there :(
1) Yeah, I expressed my thoughts on the treasure cards and the problems with their design here. There are some tutors, which will bypass the obstacle of your card being at the bottom of your deck. And in this case, this would be Shadow Visions. Now you might argue, that the Treasure cards are part of the Greetings from the Great Seas expansion, which comes with the 2019 rotation and that this will only affect wild, but imho we shouldn't forget the wild synergies. Big Priest gets a huge buff - I mean, who needs a lousy 2 mana restore 2 Health HP, when you can summon a 4/8 Taunt lifesteal minion? Control priest and especially Combo priest won't miss on the opportunity as well.
When you talked about my card, you referenced Teknician's fan-made expansion, so I guess I have to do the same and name some examples from the Great Seas expansion as well? If this is the case, then Teknician made some tutor cards, which are specifically designed to help the player draw his treasure cards rather quickly. So in this case having the ability to replace your weak HP with a powerful one (in some cases game-changing) is still a big deal. Imagine the combos with Prophet Velen - you might even kill him (Shadow Word: Death) just to ensure having him in the resurrection pool and then you kill the opponent with the remaining 8 mana.
If we forget about those things, if we only look at the current standard cards (WW,TBP and RR), then the card is ok I guess. But the problem is, that standard isn't the only playable format. Imho the card will feel less oppressive, if it were a weapon (just like Skull of the Man'ari), if it had 1/3 stats and the effect were a deathrattle one (you upgrade your HP when the deathrattle triggers). You could call it Cursed Skull or Staff (or Pandora's Box) and you would unleash all of its hidden monstrosities once you break/open it. If you decide to go with Pandora's box, you could say Überraschung as a reference to Kinder surprise.
2) First of all I think "Battlecry: Copy a friendly minion's enchantments" sounds a bit better. Secondly, I think the term "wannabe" fits this minion a lot more (this is only my personal opinion ofc). Thirdly - don't worry about using the art of an adventure card. Does Pure Cold look familiar to you? :P Lastly (and most importantly) I am not entirely sure about the stats. If this minion could only copy keywords such as taunt, divine shield, lifesteal etc etc, I would have accepted them. But this can get all sorts of enchantments on itself - from aura ones (Raid Leader) to single target buffs like Val'anyr according to Teknician. Ask others about this but how about making it a 4 mana 3/4?
Rezan is good for both aura buffs and one-time enchantments. It applies targeted effects twice (if a battlecry provides a buff or a debuff it gets applied twice). Raid Leader, Silver Sword, andBlessing of Kings are all good candidates.
3) I think the effect and the name of the minion are ok. I think the minion should be a 3/3 and, please, try to find a more suitable art.
From all of your cards I like the Renewer the most. I will like the Champion more, if you call it a wannabe (e.g. an arena wannabe or sth in those lines). Tbh I like the skull a lot, but not in the current state as it can be abused.
Daughter of the Sea is intended to fit into the Big Beast Odd Mage theme of the first expansion. Build a big beast deck to gain massive value or just play an Abyssal Subjucator and ping your opponent to death with a spell discount or a Coin. Also of note that this can also steal valueble Beasts from opponent like, say, a King Krush
Zandalar Devotee is intended for you to be able to be able to both activate the Sacrifice and retain the Sacrifice minion on the board. Also of noted that the opponent can also use the Sacrifice effects, so be careful and strategic when you use this minion.
Quel'dorei Double Agent: Use both the Spent all your Mana Crystals and the Red Mana mechanic. The Deathrattle is powerful, but you need to be able to manipulate the condition both the turn it was played and the turn it was killed.

Treasure cards: Due to the existence of tutors, which could draw them pretty fast, we shouldn't make them game-winning on their own. Examples are Raven Familiar, Shadow Visions, Grand Archivist, recruit cards in general, Elven Minstrel, Sense Demons, Sandbinder, weapon tutors for rogues and warriors, Countess Ashmore, Witchwood Piper, Juicy Psychmelon, Prismatic Lens, Dead Ringer, Predatory Instincts, Master's Call, Raiding Party etc etc. I didn't even bother mentioning current wild cards (if there are any offenders). Some of the aforementioned cards are part of rotating expansions and won't be part of The Year of the Gryphon, but imho we shouldn't forget about the wild synergies.
Also Teknician mentions a spell called Beach Time, which aims to compensate the advantage of having a 29-card deck. I am not going to say anything against it, but can a mod pls put it in the description, so that other users become aware of this token spell?

Skeletal Servant should definitively be a Priest card.
And by the way, what are those potions Unexpected Alchemist generates? Are they the same that Kabal Chemist generates?
This is quite painful, because the flavour of a burping dude fits the card perfectly and makes it excellent instead of just alright. However, it doesn't really fit a Blood Elf-themed expansion :(
Reckless Fireslinger is definitively your best card.

bepisI think interrogate is cool but frog holiday is a bit op plus its not that shaman needs more aoe
here are my changes.
Tricky one this time.
Got a Treasure card idea so far, still thinking about the other two.
Any thoughts?

Cards so far:
I deleted the second card, cuz' Teknician made a neutral minion, which is 10 times better than my spell.
So does this count as an "enchantment related effect?"
