You must make a Neutral card that generates, summons, or casts a class card.
Just using "any random class card" is not allowed.
We have whittled down ~70 valid submissions to just 8 of the community's favorites. Check out all the finalists below and vote in our poll (vote for as many or as few as you like) to help decide the winner and be sure to check back after the poll finishes for the announcement of the winner and the start of a new theme!
Wow, I didn't thought I would make it. Apparently reilgun and I finished with an equal score. Gl to all contestants.
Anyway there's something I would like to say regarding my card - as I stated in the flavour text, the woman is a harpy. Yeah, I know that in Greek mythology sirens are the creatures, that lure sailors into their cliffs and cause shipwrecks. But it is also stated, that they have an enchanting voice (unlike the aforementioned beings, that emit a croaking sound). And this is the joke I was aiming for- the contrast between the woman's appearance and her singing and the expression of surprise on the sailors' faces, when they witness it at first hand. They will prefer to throw themselves over their ships and drown than to endure yet another minute listening to the harpy's voice.
Nice, Kovachut, jokes are "best", when they are explained. Shh, I just wanted to clear things up. I was kinda slow and I coudln't edit the flavour text in the submission thread.
Tbh the cards being submitted weren't those I expected the most. Most cards were just about generation one specific card. Perhaps I should have made a different theme (also I forgot about my Wild Card again lel).
I'm voting for Pepe Shipwrecked Buccaneer who is the obvious future winner here.
For any non-Wow buffs wondering about my card, Goldrinn is an ancient spirit who has existed since there was life and across worlds. He inspires animalistic ferocity, savage tenacity and reckless bravery in all those who worship or encounter him. He is also the origin of the worgen, as it was tampering with a scythe made from his tooth which led to their accidental creation.
I thought the fantasy of him allowing any hero to leap into the fray with Bite and Claw, and inspiring other minions to greatness with Savage Roar, was a cool idea that fit this week's theme really well.

The "meta" definitely shifted toward specific cards, being much easier to allocate flavor and game balance. I was somewhat expecting this, but not to the point where 7 of the top-8 are name-dropping specific cards.
Shadows mentioned this the other day, but technically Tortollan Primalist would have counted as an example. I knew there had to be another one.

Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3
Hearthstone fanbase obsession with tilting tech cards issomething I never really understand? Shipwrecked Buccaneer?Seriously? All other cards in the top 10 are way better flavour wise than that card.
Namely Google, DeviantART or some other image search database. You might be able to repurpose images from the old Warcraft TCG, as well, or pull straight from the various Warcraft wikis. It's just a matter of finding something close to Hearthstone's art style.

ShadowOfSense has a great guide which includes many image sources. See "Section IV - Artwork". Personally, I got mine from WoWpedia, which has a lot of art if you know what kind of character you're looking for.

Trying to be sarcastic get you no where my friend. Almost eveyrone would run a 3 mana 3/2 and give a flare in your hand :just to draw an extra card and hopefully cash in on breaking the secrets.

And it is ok to use images that are technically not yours? That's what I was worried about when I started to try making some of my own.
You are aware that most of us aren't artists, right? Ever since I started joining these competitions, I saw only one self-made art and it was a drawing (something, something graphit Inkmaster Solia made by Phoenix). As Tox and Link stated above, we just copy/paste the art from the internet. No one will sue you for using another person's work.
How does Pepe work? It's not a battlecry, so it triggers every turn I guess?
Ye a h I see the mistake now also. The word "next" indicates it should have been a battlecry, otherwise it would have just said : "at the start of your turn". Wicked Icemage gets my vote.
Excluding the art sources that Linkblade mentioned, then Artstation and Wow.Blizzgame are top notch art sources aswell.
Usually what you want for your Hearthstone card is something that is drawn, and not too realistic, while still not being too cartoonish.

Considering it's under fair use, as long as you don't use it for profitable gains, you're in the safe zone. I believe Custom Cards is included as satire, which also includes the art not being the focus of the submission.
It should be noted that Article 13 in Europe might hinder this fair use after it is implemented, but you're in the safe zone for now.
Also, i highly recommend noting who made the art that you're utilizing, as it's a great benefit to the artists that create the artworks :D

I was actually just trying to state I'd read your comment without going into further detail, but now I will.
You might be right that it could be a card a lot of decks would use, I'm not arguing with that. I made this card, I'd estimate 2 years ago(?), and thought it would fit great for this competition. It has nothing to do with hunters being strong right, so actually not ment as a tech card, but merely created for flavour. You've clearly just seen yourself mad at the card (or the person?) for some reason, if you can't see the flavour. I'd argue there are better cards than mine, but flavourwise, there's definitely not 10 cards better than this. Not sorry if that sounded arrogant.
