We should be able to get a post on the front page afterward, so hopefully that should help pick up the low turnout. Could also be dealing with people like myself, who wait until all submissions are in to look through them and vote.
What is the cutoff percentage now? Will you keep the % that was planned before phase 1 or will it be re-adjusted as if there were only 5 phases?

Also, thanks to everyone who rewieved my stuff!
We'll probably have to adjust it, especially since not everyone who submitted in Phase I submitted in Phase II. If I had to guess, I'd say around half the entries will go through, but I haven't run any calculations yet.
Missed phase 2. Why there was not any mention on front page like there was for phase 1? Also it seems like cards design competitions don't make it to front page either anymore.

Since entries are no longer open to anyone, only those who passed Phase I, they aren't advertised on the front page.
We did indeed miss last week for the WCDC, but there's a promo post for it going up sometime later tonight, which will also feature a small encouragement for people to vote for Phase II entries.

I think you should do an announcement at the end of each phase to encourage people to check out our entries and upvote them.
My class did quite well on Phase I, but my results on Phase II are pretty meh.
Sometimes I feel discussion doesn't serve for much, because I didn't receive any serious critics about my Basic set.
I think the Basic set is inherently harder to sell to people. We're being asked to rein in the flashiness, and you can't use any special Keywords and the like. Compared to the power level and excitement-factor of expansion sets, Basic is not very tantalizing.

Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3

Yeah, but that's a problem for everyone, not just for me. The thing is, I was pretty satisfied with the result (more than in Phase I, in fact). I don't know xD
But I don't understand, why it's 1st one with less votes than the 4th? Sorry I suck in maths lol
McF4rtson is on the second page, so their adjusted vote count would put them higher than everyone else. That's partly why some people stall for time and post on the second page *shrugs* Not saying that was a conscious choice of McF4rtson, but it is a philosophy of some people to hold off on submitting.

The Journeyman was such a good idea with so much wasted potential. 10 Basic card and only 3 has theme of traveling. *Facepalm* It seems like the person who made the class just reskin their Monk into the Journeyman.
So, I do have to ask again: Do you guys plan to use the Wild card for this stage? It's a tradition for many past competition.
I guess you'll just have to wait and see, won't ya?

I think that the problem is, that many people which vote, don't realy know many about class/basic set designing, so they don't see somę things. For example, simple cards which are good thibg in basic, can be taken just not creative.

Thanks a lot, this gives a lot of insight on the curent state of the competition (and I would never have the time to run the maths). I don't know how accurate the boost to page 2 is, seeing the numbers make it looks a bit unfair (especially to me since I'm last in the first page so I didn't get much exposure) but I guess it's very well though through. I won't complain if I don't make it to phase 3 but being last in page 1 seems like a big disadvantage.

I was so sad that Cogito didn't make it. Her entry would have my vote immediately since I absolutely loves everything she showcase so far.
