I spent a day to learn, find out and build these custom Pirate cards and wanted to be in a competition. However, the recent Season has ended and i couldn't be patient to post them to Hearthpwn. To the Admins, at anytime, if you make a comp on Pirate cards then please consider these as candidates, or remind me kindly to post them at the verified place. Stand with Darkness: Ok, I'll just put Odd paladin in my mind since it requires silver hand recruits. I say it's pretty worse than Level up!
Ship's Tri cannon: I think this is worse card than original ship cannon, because you want to control the board earlier for pirate themed deck.
Long John Silver: What's the hero power? Armor? Okay.
Silver's Cutlass: Pretty slow, could have been 5 mana again with 1 less durability.
So many expensive pirate cards, doesn't support pirate themed deck much. I think you need to add more effort into it, like Cannon Barrage, this one is much better.

Pirate cards are cheap bt notice the existing Legendaries, they have similar attributes. I haven't built these cards to compete existing cards. It's dedicated to Devs to filter out the options and make the game better with cards similar to these. Also note that among these there are 3 Legendaries and 1 Epic card so quite naturally they cost higher mana. I also haven't thought about odd or even decks on which they can be shuffled into, so i think it's quite natural that there are mistakes.

I would also like to add on my defense that these are only support based cards i.e. they are powered up by other pirate cards. So naturally they are at a higher mana cost than a usual pirate card. Even if they are in-game, they would still needed to be crafted or obtained by luck. And they can be core pirate cards among the existing ones in game with a New strategy changing aggro decks to control decks. I am open to suggestions on future builds.

But you didn't mention the hero power of long john silver. Usually hero cards gained new hero power, like Hunter's deal 2 damage to enemy hero into Deathknight Hunter's Build-a-beast.

Sorry about not mentioning the Hero power. Couldn't find the building software at that time. Recent idea for Hero power: "passive, Whenever you equip a Weapon give it +2 Durablity." I will post an image soon. Thanks.

Since pirate cards have low mana value some modifications are made. And card usage and combos are explained. Further suggestions are welcome.
Ship's Tri-Cannon: ARare Neutral Card with Pirate synergy. Mana value reduced from 5 to 4 for effective summoning. Stats attributes changed from 5/4/5 to 4/4/3 for quicker effect. Even when there are no pirates the attack value is now 4 causing it to make significant damage to opponent face value. Also making room for other pirates to be summoned as a combo for the card effect to take place.
Stand with Darkness: A Legendary Paladin spell with Pirate Synergy. Mana value reduced from 7 to 4, because not always the optimum number of Silver Hand Recruits could be available for the card to make maximum effect. Also note that Small Time Buccaneers gain +2 attack when a weapon is equipped and it's their natural effect. Since that card is on wild set now this is just to remind this effect to newbies. So, when the Silver Hand Recruits are converted, they give equal number of Buccaneers those have +2 attack when a weapon is equipped. Additionally they gain Rush for efficient board clear. This spell can be deadly when their are no opposition minions to their face damage value.
I am also working on New cards with further improvements.
Long John Silver: A Legendary Warrior Hero card. A passive Hero Power is added which gives +2 Durability when a Weapon is equipped since Pirate Decks heavily rely on Weapons and Weapon Durability. The Hero card also fills your Hand with Random Pirate cards which enables you to be back into the game with replenishing amount of Pirate cards. And with Rush ability they can easily clear the opponent board.
Silver's Cutlass: An Epic Warrior Weapon. Named after Long John Silver. Mana cost reduced 7 to 6, and Card type from Legendary to Epic for easier access. Could have been more sophisticated if equipped by the Long John Silver Hero card, but to keep things simple and of varieties it's a standalone weapon with Pirate synergy. And probably the best Pirate related weapon since it can Draw pirates from your Deck. Durability is still 4 so that you can have more shots of attacks cause each attack only Draws one Pirate card.

Bounty Hunter: An Epic Warrior spell card. Changes your Hero power to give a New one with good synergy to Pirates. Gives a Pirate on your board +2/+2. This can be a custom option for Long John Silver's Hero card power if you want a better Hero power. This will dramatically boost a Pirate on the board and help it survive longer just like Hunter's Dinomancy on Beasts.

Hmm. Not sure I see the point of the hero card. Pirate decks are aggro, and playing a slow hero card on turn 9 is a big loss of tempo.
Pirate hero should be 6 Mana. Rexxar at 6 allows hunters who are running out of steam to finish you off. Pirate should be similar.
How about six Mana hero card, battlecry: add a treasure to your hand. Treasures could be things like Marin the fox gives, but more pirate oriented.
Hero power could be "discover a pirate".
