Happy Season 8 Finale!

We've made it through another 20 21 weeks of Weekly Card Design Competitions, and you know what that means. Or maybe you don't; you could be new to the scene and have no idea what I'm talking about, wondering when I'm going to stop prattling on and get to the point. Well you passive-aggressive, theoretical reader, maybe...I...will. Every winner from this Season has come together in this Final Final Poll, and it's up to you to tell us your favorite(s). Twenty-one will enter, but only one can win...unless they tie.

Who will be the Champion...of...(dramatic pause)...Season...(wait for it)...8...?

I can't think of my own spin on the next paragraph, so I will instead shamelessly copy what Shadows said last time around: "In the mean time, we have our regularly scheduled mini-competitions running throughout the two weeks that this poll will be up. As usual, there will be one day for submission and discussion, followed by an hour for upvoting (and to give us some space to breathe) and then the remaining 23 hours for a final poll. Don't stress too hard about these competitions, they're the fun silly ones at the end where we all can relax."

Season 9 will start in January, and the next Big Comp will occur around then as well. After the crazy-huge adventure that was making an entire Hearthstone Year, odds are very good we will scale back toward something more simple (like another class comp). We don't have it nailed down just yet, so you'll just have to remain in suspense until then :P If you would like to voice your opinion regarding how Season 8 went, the Feedback thread is available here.

If only Shirvallah, the Tiger had existed sooner, I could have been aware of its phrasing to use with Mecha'Zoth:

...as it currently stands my card's a bit of a mess :( I mean it's great that I finally won, but I'm really dissatisfied with it.

The Perfect Crime is definitely my favorite. Gotta love those alternate win conditions.

So many amazing cards, I had to put my vote for 12 cards.

Edit: and the cost is also reduced by deathrattle weapons.

 Technically, you enhanced the card. Old wording required deathrattle minions to die (and not be polymorphed), the current one requires only to play them.

I know they're not the same; it's more a lament on the way I originally phrased the Mecha'Zoth. The results would be different but the card wouldn't look so much like shit :/

It was close for me between Atreides, the Sandworm (awesome Dune reference) and Master Michelo (awesome concept). There is a lot of good and original cards here though; so good luck everyone!

It's gonna be Michelo for me, only card of the bunch with some outside the box thinking, most of the others are interesting too but feel very dull to me.

Rotwick The Hollow and The Perfect Crime are easily the best cards here. Rotwick in particular is a great example of a strong build around card that could make Treant Druid a thing, without being being completly OP.

Perfect Crime is creative approach to the Steal Rogue archetype and coule help that deck immensely. That Deck already uses Academic Espionage and loads of draw to beat control decks, this fits right in there.

Mecha'Zoth is a completly overpowered and convoluted mess of a card. Hence, it will probably get all the votes. 

Master Michelo is my favourite. It is one of those cards that can really only exist in Hearthstone. Too bad Da Undatakah exists now or Mecha'Zoth would win it for me.
