My idea was to create a set of cards that play out on your opponents turn. They require you to have one or more full mana crystals to activate and it destroys that crystal(s) as part of the casting cost. Here is an example.
It's sort of like a secret that doesn't have to be cast in advance. It allows for bluffing. Did my opponent leave a full mana crystal because he's holding a hidden boa? Do I want to attack face or not? Gives a new and interesting and highly interactive (relative to hearthstone) mechanic.
Could be anything with the general form: Condition, full mana crystal(s), effect. IF you had more than one in hand it would play them in order drawn for as long as you have full mana crystals to sacrifice.
