the synergy mentioned above is incorrect, as I've just reviewed. The synergy for this card would be great when combined with Shirvallah's Vengeance, which was displayed at Blizzcon in the Puzzling Dungeons & Bewitching Hunts panel:
However, I forgot that Shirvallah's Vengeance will be
only available in the Rumble Run
and not in the standard Paladin deck, so the overkill-effect will indeed be pointless for a card to be used in the normal game.
Been a while since shaman got a good weapon and I think something like this would be interesting. Wether this is good depends on if you manage to activate the overkill effect ofcourse, it also works very well with weapon buffs. The animation would be like an earthquake opening fractures across the whole board.

A Deathrattle tech that is not useless against non-Deathrattle decks.
Keep in mind you can also nullify big minions by attacking them first. For instance, you could sacrifice a Silver Hand Recruit against a Savannah Highmane or Sylvanas Windrunner and then use this.
Can kill deathrattle minions like Mechanical Whelp without activating its deathrattle.
