As most announcers (like soccer and so) they react completely exagerated when the combatant/player is defeated or humiliated, as so, they call in the next challengers to fight each other in the Arena. Keepning a constant steam of entertainment is complex, but not when you are as loud as the crowd.
This 5 mana Warrior spell offers baseline board control, and is particularly useful for squelching aggro for at least one turn. I predict the idea of overkill being linked to "intimidation" mechanics could be something we see in the Rumble, and feels like it fits in Warrior.
Flavor: "We would have called it 'Intimidation Methodology', but that was too long. And Warriors are busy people."

The idea behind the card is to improve it with spelldamage. By itself the card seems expensive , but the overkill is what makes it powerful. With new cards such as
Cosmic Anomaly
and
Unexpected Results
this card is a perfect fit in those kind of decks.

The sole purpose of this card is to gain control over your opponent, not buffing aggro decks but slightly pushing them towards control. Recall Overkilling with this card can be achieved either by
Spells
,
Weapons
or
Minions
. The only true way Paladin can guarantee a Overkill with spells is with a 10 mana combo with
Equality
and
Consecration
, granting random friendly minions +1/+1 and Divine Shield. Swinging with
Truesilver Champion
to Overkill also activates this cards effect and any friendly minion that is able to Overkill can activate this card.
Pre-Design:
I had this card at 3 mana, but then setup several scenarios to overcome its true powerhouse if pulled correctly, forcing me to push it to the 4 mana slot and also conditionally supporting Even Paladin.
My submission (and prediction). Maybe should be epic, I don't know..

I considered giving it Divine Shield to start but thought it woul be too strong and could snowball against Zoo decks too hard.

Cheaper than Flame Lance, but with a health cost. Can potentially clear the whole bolt for a big health loss.

The idea is that you went too far and "fouled" the opponent, so you have to pay a penalty. Killing little gnome girls is uncool.
