So, Charged Devilsaur and Charge are both cards in the game - but the thing is, they were made before witchwood - before Rush was officially a thing. As such, should they get a retroactive rework? Or is it not necessary? What do you guys think? I've made examples of what I mean.
See? Effectively the same thing, just modernized with more efficient text. What do you guys think?
I think the fact it has charge makes a lot of decks work, and removing it would not only cease those decks from existing, but keep this minion from play in any mode but arena.

Those who are given more in life, must not cling to it, but risk it all at every moment!
For Charged Davilsaur not, because if he was recruited he has charge. For the card "charge" yes. And there are other cards (like unstable evolution with echo for example) that require a correction in the description... Someone knows why the descriptions aren't corrected?
Charged Devilsaur has charge with a battlecry making it unable to attack heros the turn its played. As brode said when rush was introduced "its similar in practice, but functions entirely different". Its why its used in cube/recruit decks for hunter.
How do people not get Charged Devilsaur was worded SPECIFICALLY to function uniquely from every other mechanic or creature. It's a 1 of a kind thing. As for the spell Charge, you gotta let that one go, it's a basic spell that has no function or value whatsoever.

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
This conversation keeps popping up, but the answer is the same. Changing the cards in question has quantifiable repercussions, and would very much NOT result in them being "effectively the same thing":
- Charged Devilsaur's Battlecry can be circumvented, allowing the minion to Charge immediately should it be Recruited from someone like Kathrena Winterwisp, or summoned from the hand via cards like The Boomship or Eureka!. Retooling it to Rush completely destroys this strategy.
- Converting Charge to Rush has its own implications, namely the sudden increase of synergy it has with Rush effects like Woodcutter's Axe. It also technically removes the synergy it has with Warsong Commander, not that this has much meaning in 2018. If Blizzard was planning to make this conversion, they wouldn't have bothered to make Rocket Boots.
As we have numerous other topics related to this specific scenario, and as the answer has been provided by various people, I will be locking the thread before it devolves into something mean-spirited and/or defensive.
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3

If you claim it's the same ,it's really a shame
not the same thing. salty much?

This drastically changes the playability of Charged Devilsaur. Almost every deck that includes it tries to cheese around the battlecry.Eureka, Gather Your Party, The Boomship, Kathrena Winterwisp, Witching Hour, Carnivorous Cube, Silver Vanguard, Gloop Sprayer, and so many others have interesting interactions that would be completely killed.
