I feel Goldfinger is kind of a poor design. With Auctioneer, you can draw your entire deck while turning some useless, more expensive cards into more mana to cast whatever you'd rather not turn into a coin and win the game.
Oh, man, I was the second in my page (right after Goldfinger), but I didn't make it :/ I know this fancy formula you use to select the finalists, but how do you decide how many of them are chosen?
Besides this little whine/curiosity, I voted for Romulo and Klat.
The Discardlock cards here sadly remind me of the fact that this is the last chance before most of the Discard synergy cards (if not, all) will rotate out of standard. You better give Discardlock one last hurrah Blizzard! Also, welcome back Oto! I'm coming back too! <3
I feel like The Secrets of Alchemy would just promote a really unfun control warlock that does nothing but stall until it hits some insane value card.
Voted for Romulo
In wild you could summon 7 ragnari, ragnaroses?? (I dont know the plural of ragnaros) and that would probably end the game right there especially if you shadowflame one of the ragnari because that would most likely clear the board leaving 6 ragnari to go face thats 48 damage, THATS A LOT OF DAMAGE (Phil Swift face)

Voted for Lathy, Turkeybag and Cogito.
I understand your concern, but I think these combos are harder to pull off than you might think: by turn 6, you'll already have drawn about 10 cards. To pull off a classic Malygos OTK, you'd need to play 9 coins plus a Malygos (10 cards), plus two coins and two Sinister Strikes (4 cards), and four coins and two Eviscerates (6 cards), which would get you exactly into fatigue.
The problem arises because of the hand-positioning restriction. For instance, what happens if your Malygos is an extra five cards down? You'd need to burn five extra coins, which means you'd no longer have enough mana for those Eviscerates. Or if your Malygos is towards the top of the deck, you'll get to a situation where you have [Goldfinger, Coin, Malygos, ...] in hand, and you won't be able to play enough coins to play Malygos, without first turning Malygos into a coin.
So yes, it's possible. But the hand-positioning aspect of the card- in addition to providing strategic depth- prevents any sort of consistent OTK.
Today in my free brawl pack I got Barongeddon, then I had a cup of fresh green tea. As a result of that, I think Priest is OP because my keyboard is not a mechanical one. I hope Blizzard will address this issue.
A moment of silence to everyone on page 2, except SD. Voted for Cogito. First competition in a while and made the polls easily. I for the life of me, will never understand how a lot of people win these competitions so easily.
I'll also be the first to admit I'm not a big fan of Romulo. I appreciate controllable discard as much as the next guy (really should've been in the game since the very beginning), but it's really hard to utilize this effect properly. Classes also can't get Legendary cards in adventure sets, but it looks like no one else has bat an eye at that.

Very weak theme this week. There wasn't many ways you could do a meaningful card in this theme without feeling artificial (i.e. without having an effect that could target any card in hand rather than the left-most or right-most).
I must say I'm impressed with Philosopher's Stone. Really flavorful and the effect makes sense. Voted for it, as well as Romulo which is one of the only obvious good effect for this comp.
EDIT:
@Demon: I can feel your frustration but the quality of a card isn't always linked to the effort put into it. There are WCDCs during which I invest a lot by making many different cards and discussing them extensively in the disc thread, only to have a miserable score once I submitted (which is especially frustrating when my card received good feedback on the disc thread). Conversely, there are weeks when I'm just like "oh I should probably think of some random crap to submit before monday", make a card in 5mins, and win (that was the case when I won 3 weeks ago).

If winners were determined solely based on effort, I would maybe win more of these; I put a lot of time and thought into my trash ideas lol DX
Side-note: I apologize on behalf of the mods for the poll's late creation. I'm never available on Tuesdays, Tox + Phoenix were not home, and Shadows' computer gave up on life. Thankfully our mod-gone-walkabout Oto returned in time to save the day.
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3

Didn't even notice that. The more you know.
It actually doesn't matter that classes can't get Legendary cards from Adventure sets. The entire card (Romulo) is designed with flavor in mind. Discarding cards is almost strictly a Warlock mechanic, so it doesn't work as a Neutral, and the card wouldn't make sense with any stamp other than Karazhan. No one took to mentioning this part because it doesn't matter whatsoever. This is the smallest of nitpicks that no one should really concern themselves with.

Yeah, I feel like the mechanical design space was pretty restricted this week, which means theme has to be working double time. I could only come up with three theme-mechanic pairings that made sense to me:
Your left-most card is something which you've held on to for a while, so "Patient _____" would give the card a good story. Your right-most card has to be played without any sort of set up, so "Impulsive _____" also makes sense. In the end, though, I thought adjacent cards made for the most fun story, because it implies Goldfinger is selling off anything that he can physically get his hands on.
Klat Sparkwrench also utilizes the mechanics in a flavorful way (and one that I'd not thought of), so that one gets my vote for sure.

Congratulations to Lathy! A new spooky theme is here!
(I know the poll was extended to compensate for our late posting yesterday, but Lathy is far enough ahead to call it "early" and set us back on schedule.)

Unpopular opinion: Rogue is OP
A very simple formula. Take the total number of submissions, divide them by 10, round to the nearest multiple of 4 (so it looks nice on the poll).
So we have 80 submissions, divide that by 10 you get 8, and since it's already a multiple of 4, we keep it as 8.
Examples:

That's simpler than I thought. Thank you 😁

I like Warplan, but why is it a Warrior card? I think it would fit better in a more spell based class like Priest or Rogue.

Voted for wise ol' rate, because it's memes and for goldfinger and co. because it requires smart play.
