Wanted to put a position-oriented, Control-style spin on Treant Druid. Concept: A lumberjack cuts down a tree which inadvertently crushes up to two minions when it falls.
Statline is comparable to
Vilespine Slayer
, a conditional removal card with a condition I felt was easier to satisfy (doesn't both require and expend a friendly Token) but has a smaller potential upside. Made this a 2/5 instead of a 3/4 so that its Attack matches a Treant's Health.
Summon
: Timmmmbeeeeer!
Attack
: Watch out!
Death
: Oh, not again...
Flavor text: When a tree falls in the forest, two minions get crushed by it.
He is ancient enough to know a treant's job is to defend his/her territory, so one of the first thing he teach to his children is to fluently master the expression "Leaf this Place".
Inspired by the shaman spell Primal Fusion, was going for a lower mana cost but then I realized it would be way to OP if you already had 5 - 7 Treants on board. Might need to be nerfed to 7 or 8 mana tho since the card Dark Wispers gives only 1 minion +5/+5 for 6 mana, which is very weak compared to this card.
I didn't plan on making a card for this one since I'm pretty bad at designing cards in my opinion. That being said, I thought it was hilarious that like half of the legendary cards had bark somewhere in the name and I like puns, so I kinda had to. As for the card, the base stats are similar to
Arfus
, the only other dog in the game and he works pretty well with cards such as
Landscaping
and
Witchwood Apple
as he only needs the treants to be in your hand for him to work. Thematically, this is because he gets excited when you have a 'twig' in your hand and he really wants you to throw it.

I don't have something witty about this deck, I just like it because Malygos is fun.
