Clarifications: everything that isn’t a minion (Including spells, weapons, HPs and the burden itself) will have Lifesteal. This is less OP than it might seem because warlock has a big dependency on minions (be it zoo, control, etc.), but I can see this being very useful in combo warlocks, where the goal is to survive till the big combo
This applies to every card you draw once the mulligan phase is over. I was inspired by the draw mechanics of
Holy Wrath
and the healing/information mechanic of
Ivory Knight
.
Sally Whitemane is an iconic boss fight in WoW. Her signature ability is ressurecting her champion, Renault Mograine (in vanilla). I based my trail on that moment. Recently, she was added to Heroes of the storm. Her burden is inspired by her abilities there (her mana costs increase the more she heals). Mograine himself is her childhood friend that was so loyal to her he died (several) times for her.
How it works:
You'd have a counter like the quests have. It would increase by 1 whenever you cast a spell. When it reaches 3, Mograine is summoned and the counter resets. Casting
Smite
for example makes the next smite you cast cost 3, then 5 etc. It encourages you to have a lot of spells, but not spam the same cheap stuff with lyra or shadow visions.
Flavour text: "
How many times do i have to kill you? Until she's out of mana.
"
Mograine spawn: "
At your side, milady."
Mograine attack:
"Infidels. They must be purified!"
Mograine death: "

This card is neutral and available to all classes. Cards discovered this way are removed from the deck as if they were drawn. IE: You are
not discovering copies
but rather the actual cards from the deck. The other two cards will stay in the deck to be discovered or drawn at a later time.
Burden of Knowledge will hide everything from you except for the art of the card, what class that card belongs to and any visual associated with an ability (Divine Shield, Windfury etc). So any card in your hand, any card in play, any card your opponent plays, any buffs those cards might have or damage minions may have taken etc will all be hidden from you. In other words, you better have an excellent understanding of the current state of the game as well as of cards in general, or you could get very lost very quickly. One mistake or miscalculation thinking your card was discounted when it wasn't or thinking a minion should have more or less health than it actually does could easily lose you the game.
Cards would appear like this.
However, if you can keep track of everything effectively, the payoff is incredible! Being able to pick and choose between 3 cards from your deck every turn effectively allows you to dictate the pace of every game you play by giving you the power of choice!
Freeze Mage already exists, so Kel'thuzad is generously helping Freeze Shaman out: an archetype that failed to launch. Frozen blood chills the enemy, but your own forces are slow to mobilize. It encourages a Fatigue Shaman with Taunt minions, draining your opponent of resources as they attempt to break through a wall of ice. It's like every minion is a
Voodoo Hexxer
!
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3
Wished to be pink.
Then did.
Then fired myself.
Then did again.

My Entry for this week's Card Design Competition - Season 8.16:
Love the tribes.
What price can you pay for power?
...Soul of Wyrm. Soul of Root. Heart of Void...
