Wow, im surprised that all those cards with Classic watermark that were using "future" keywords and mechanics or referred specifically to future cards actually didnt make it (which i think is how it should have ended up). Even tho some of them were actually pretty cool, these little things shouldnt be taken lightly! :)
Anyway, rly good finalists this time around, i like almost all of them.
Apologies for the strange left-aligning, the forums are being weird. It doesn't look like that when I edit the post, but when I save it, bam, back to left-align.
Big fan of Class Training, Get Behind Me! and of course Herbal Remedy. These kinds of cards are what I imagine when I think of Neutral spells.
"The flow of time is always cruel... its speed seems different for each person, but no one can change it... A thing that does not change with time is a memory of younger days..."
I really wanted to see automatize in final because i'm curious how this card works with Gladiator's LongbowKingsbane and Tentacles for Arms. Also the idea behind this card is great but the card itself really sucks. I mean is it ever worth to pay 1 mana and lose deckslot to transform your great weapon into shitty minion? But maybe i get something wrong so don't mind me
Despite I said earlier I really like when people create something new. So my votes go to "Automatize", "Get behind me!" and "A minor setback" cause we haven't seen those mechanics in standart yet
Cards like Automotize and Herbal Remedy are what I think of as good ways for Blizzard to introduce Neutral cards. A Neutral Approach and Class Training is a wonderful way to expand upon it. Awesome cards all around.
I personally don't like Innkeeper's Favorite as it messes with Gold...
Kind of glad my entry didn't make it. Voted for each entry this time. To be honest, the multi-Hero entry has some real balance issues. The Rogue Hero is by far the strongest. Turn 6 Lethal is almost a guarantee with such a card.
Class Training and A Neutral Approach are my two favorites. I love Paradox, but Class Training and A Neutral Approach are damn near perfect.

I agree. Hats off the effort for making all these cards but a lot the heroes are downright busted.

Yes, I loved those 2 as well. Exactly what would make sense if they were to introduce neutral spells!
I also threw in "Free pack" even though it might be underpowered or make more sense as a rogue card.
Damn my card 'Year of the Dragon' got a very small amount of upvotes. I definitely didn't expect it to win but I guess I made it too complicated and that's why people don't like it? Still a little disappointed but whatever.
I'm voting for A Neutral Approach, Class Training and Automatize (even though it's kind of busted with Twig but that card always limits design space for druid so who cares), I really like those cards!
That fanboy card is waaaaaay too complicated for heartstone, having a card with 100000 effects is never good. yeah it's cool, heroes are cool but.. 10 heroes in one card.. it's way too much.
Class training is a really cool card though I really liked it.. simple, fitting to the neutral aspect.
Some fantastic designs here - well done to everyone! I was tempted to go for Rigged Dice... until I thought about how much of a buff it could be to Tempo Mage! And I already hate that deck ;) Love the design of Innkeeper's Favourite, really think Blizzard should consider adding cards that interact with other parts of the game more - dust, gold, other cards in your collection etc. So many interesting things they could do, but not confident they ever will!
Neutral spell balancing is very tricky. The goal is sure to extend meta versatility and give every class some viable and balanced options. I am taking simple approach - let it be as much applicable as possible, while doing the simplest thing possible, and not to become a piece of some 'easy op combo'. Despite it sounds a bit limiting, but hey, we have two amazing ideas already - there my votes go. "Get behind me!" "Class training"
As to the question if 'Class training' is not a bit too easy to pull off with the obviously profitable reward, especially in a control deck. I find that maybe in Naxx-Grand tournament days that would be must have card. But now after we've got death knight heroes and some instant odd/even hero power upgrades it does not look that must have or OP, it looks fitting.

Voted for Get Behind Me (my personal favorite), Class Training and A Neutral Approach. Many well designed cards this time! Good luck everyone.

Wished to be pink.
Then did.
Then fired myself.
Then did again.

Wait, none of the mods proposed to disqualify my card? That seems weird.
THERE IS NO GAME.

@cypher benks so you basically voted for nothing.

I like a lot of them but had to go with class training. A hell of a neutral quest that i wish was real.
Hi i'm Tyler and I play hearthstone and watch anime.
Sometimes i make cards. I'd like to do that for a career one day if ever possible.

"Get Behind Me!" should be a warrior only card.
To be honest, it shouldnt be a card at all, feels too strong as a way to protect your board presence.
