This week's theme comes from Hieii, whose "Pi-Rat" was the winner of our We've Pun It Now competition!
Competition-Specific Restrictions:
You must make a card that costs 11 or more mana.
Your card must be able to be played/equipped/summoned/cast without external cost reduction effects; that means you cannot rely on the likes of Preparation, Aviana, Ebon Dragonsmith, etc. to combo your card with.
All current examples are Giants, including Snowfury Giant, Clockwork Giant, and Molten Giant. That being said your card doesn't have to function like a Giant if you don't want it to.
Competition Process
Preview Phase (Starts Now! Ends 21:00 UTC 6/9/2018) During this Phase, the Discussion Topic is made available, previewing this week's competition theme. Entry and Early Voting Phase (Starts 21:00 UTC 6/9/2018, Ends 21:00 UTC 10/9/2018) During this Phase, the Submission Topic is made available for your submissions. You may also, of course, feel free to give early up-votes to any submissions that you like! Voting Phase (Starts 21:00 UTC 10/9/2018, Ends 21:00 UTC 11/9/2018) During this Phase, the Submission Topic will be locked, so no more entries may be submitted. Instead, use this time to browse the submissions and up-vote your favorites! Final Phase (Starts 21:00 UTC 11/9/2018, Ends 21:00 UTC 12/9/2018) During this Phase, the Discussion Topic will also be locked, and a new Poll Topic will go up. Discussion will be allowed to continue in the Poll Topic, and it will also include all the qualifying finalists and poll to decide the winner of the competition!
Discussion Topic Rules
To make sure that everything runs smoothly, we need to reserve the Submission Topic for submissions only. Everything else goes here. What is everything else, you might ask?
Rules or Process. Do you have a question about the competition's process? Do you need clarification about one of the entry requirements? Are you not sure whether your entry adhered to the rules? Ask here!
Feedback or Ideas. Do you have some ideas you'd like to run by others before settling on one? Do you need help balancing or wording your entry? Do you need help finding art that will fit your card? Or do you just want feedback from the community on your entry? You're in the right place! Remember, although you are allowed to make minor tweaks to your entry after you've submitted it, you're only allowed one submission per week, so make sure that you've settled on your card for sure beforehand.
Discussion! Do you have thoughts on other people's entries? Are there directions you don't like that you're seeing too many people take? Or directions you'd like to see more people take? Would you like to help others and contribute to a greater community understanding of Hearthstone card design and balance? This is where you want to be!
All of that said, please refrain from the following:
Posting TONS of Ideas. Discussion topics become an absolute mess if everybody is posting a dozen different ideas. Please post not more than 3 distinct ideas at a time. Any more than that and we'll have to delete your post.
Advertising Your Entry. Please don't pop in here just to advertise your entry only to never be heard from again. This includes only asking short, generic, or insincere questions like "Thoughts?" or "Do you think this is interesting?". Yes, getting feedback on your entry is one of the purposes of this topic, but we're not just here for other people to help you. We're here for you all to help each other. 12 hours after this competition begins, there should be plenty of other posts here for you to give specific feedback or for you to comment on a trend. If you post your entry for feedback after this time and do not also offer some form of substantial commentary, critique, or praise of others' work, you may find your post deleted.
Plagiarism. Many people post their ideas here before finalizing them in the submission topic. Directly plagiarizing those ideas to post in the submission topic yourself is absolutely not acceptable.

Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3
I've been tinkering with ideas while waiting for the poll to close/the proper time to activate the thread. However, I'm concerned they're all too "try-hard". I'm only going to post the one because Shadows shot-down the other two as not being appropriate for this theme lel :/
Hopefully Metallic Reaver's first part doesn't need explanation, but I'll do it anyway. The idea is that you spend all the mana you have, and then the remainder comes out of your Armor. So on Turn-7, you could play this if you had 5 Armor to spare. Similarly, you could generate the necessary Armor in the same turn; Shield Block + the Reaver on Turn-10, for example. There's no way to exclusively spend Armor for the Reaver unless you wait until you have no mana left, making it impossible for you to combo this card with Magnetic upgrades and the like in the same turn. That's on purpose: the price one pays for the flexibility of spending mana + Armor together.
There might be a better way to phrase it on the card, but I'm not going to bother if people don't like it.

What do you guys think? Should i increase the cost to 50? 60? Reduce the cost for every 3 points of Armor?
@linkblade91, the word you're looking for is Magnetize. However, there's no card with that keyword, so do how you please. Otherwise, I really like the concept of your card.
Edit: another idea i've come up with (prepare for a lot of giants, folks):

True, with the Magnetize. I didn't care for how I worded it either, but this way it left no room for misinterpretation.
My concern with your Giant is that there is currently a subset of players who are not happy with how much Armor the Druid can generate. To them, your card could be seen as a "win more" salt-in-the-wound situation :/ I don't have a problem with it because I can imagine the card comes from a time where that's not necessarily a problem, but in the here-and-now some people will see your card and be salty about it.

Thanks for the feedback. It's mostly a meme card regarding the armor gain of Druid (obvious by my remark about it down below) I've also edited my post with another card, can you give feedback on that as well.
I was thinking about what classes have historically had Giants tailored to them (Warlock with Molten/Mountain, Mage and Rogue with Arcane, any Zoo (but usually Warlock and Paladin) with Sea, Shaman getting Snowfury), and Priest really hasn't gotten anything along those lines. Plus, being an elemental it can help make Elemental Priest possibly work a little better.
Flavor Text: "He is hard working to become a giant. Hard like a mountain."

"The flow of time is always cruel... its speed seems different for each person, but no one can change it... A thing that does not change with time is a memory of younger days..."
Nice flavor. Turn 1 Iron Hide. Turn 2 Bring it on into 8/8 mech XD. JK, however, what happens if a buffed mech dies? Will Metallic Reaver keep his enchantements? And if he dies at low health, will he keep his original stats?
@NiRaSt
The text on Ironbark Giant isn t correct. Shoul be "Cost... for each armor you have". Then, 40 is really too much, also for druids. Increase its cost by 10.
Giant Module instead is good BUT it doesn t work pratically, because the reduction happens after you ve played the card (but you can t play a 12 mana card).
IMO the card is OP. Especially with cards like Mecharoo, Harvest Golem etc. It could easily become a 3 mana give a minion +8/+8 or summon a 8/8. 3 mana 8 damage... should cost more
@Hikarigami
I think that's too plain... Then, how it will work with cards like Circle of Healing or Holy Nova?
"The flow of time is always cruel... its speed seems different for each person, but no one can change it... A thing that does not change with time is a memory of younger days..."
Edit: We are removing this added "rule" that your card must justify its cost, in the interest of creative freedom. This post is still technically correct as-per how such a card should exist, but we will not disqualify you if you proceed in this way. My apologies for those of you who have moved on from your early concepts because of this post, especially to those who submitted something else instead.
Before we get too far into this, a word about "needless" mana costs. If the cost-reduction mechanic you incorporate into your card is a cost-replacement effect, then you might actually be disqualifying your card in the process. I'll use one of my own (discarded) ideas as an example:
versus
There is no truly justifiable reason for the first version to cost 12, because the real price one must pay is the Health loss. As such, the card should really have no mana cost - like how Shifting Scroll is printed - because the number is completely irrelevant.
If you create a card like this, such that your card has no reason to cost 11 or more, it will be disqualified #justsayin
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!

Metallic Reaver would presumably Magnetic a fresh copy of the base minion onto itself, without any additional enchantments.
Edit: Regarding your Tiny Golem, I was all set with eyebrow-raised to frown at your card, regarding whether or not it should really count. I did not see the reason for why it would be priced the way it is. I needed @Phoenixfeather to drop the "Evolve synergies" defense on me.

We're going to have a lot of Giants in this competition.
Knight of the Void basically guarantees a Joust victory if you pull it (unless your opponent is also running a Knight of the Void, in which case it can tie). It also has dank Holy Wrath synergy, although without cards that looks at the top X cards of your deck, this deck will never be viable.
Not really sure how expensive Sand Giant should be.

First idea is Mannoroth himself, the Pitlord who cursed the Orcs of Drendor.
For him, I incorporated a high risk, high reward aggro playstyle. He's an 8/8 that costs health instead of mana, so it will cost you 15 health just to play him. However he has another effect: ALL of your opponent's minions will have Taunt while he's on the field. This will mean that any key minions that are protected by taunts, lose that protection as now they can be attacked. This can make Mannoroth a great anti-control tool, while also being an interesting aggro minion on turn one.
Next is a Paladin Epic Spell: "Orbital Strike Cannon"
It's the mother of all Consecrations! However, the cannon requires time to charge, so it needs to be in your hand to begin charging. This can either be really good or really bad depending on when you draw this, as with it's cost of 15 mana at 10 mana it'll need at least 5 turns to charge.
So I have an idea. So this is a card which will give you a random spell. However this could also be useful if you are looking for a certain spell and you know it's mana cost. Anyway like to hear what you think.

My Entry for this week's Card Design Competition - Season 8.16:
I think that's too plain... Then, how it will work with cards like Circle of Healing or Holy Nova?
Each of those would trigger its cost-lowering once. For instance, heal 3 friendlies and 2 enemies with Circle of Healing, cost lowers by 5. Makes cards like those more relevant.
Get to fatigue, drop Knight of the Void, play Baleful Banker on Knight of the Void, then Holy Wrath to victory. I don't think it would be an oppressive deck by any means, but there is definitely a combo there.
And I assume you aren't actually considering Sand Giant?
Today in my free brawl pack I got Barongeddon, then I had a cup of fresh green tea. As a result of that, I think Priest is OP because my keyboard is not a mechanical one. I hope Blizzard will address this issue.

The art for the knight is pretty cool, maybe you should raise the stats and cost a little higher, because it doesn't look like it would only be a 3/4. The giant would probably be unplayable in most matchups, 40 or 35 mana would improve it imo
I came up with another idea, but maybe it's still too try-hard and/or low-hanging fruit:
If a friendly Mechanical Whelp dies, you would subtract 6 from Mecha'Zoth's cost and copy the Whelp's Deathrattle onto him. 30 is probably too low but it's my starting offer heh
