In the same boat, I feel this theme is too restrictive (but if you vote for me, you'll get a pretty cool theme in 2 weeks). 3 mana seems fine to me because it needs to combo with the Hero Power or cards (and not all of those cards are good). I think "as" should probably be "that" though.

Both effects diminishes, when you play a hero card.
Finger Cutting, although flavorful isn't very impactful unless you're playing against a deck that revolves around having a large hand (Quest Mage, Handlock, etc.) It also should say "Reduce your opponent's maximum hand size by 1."
Frostmournce Curse is too weird. By the wording, it looks like it triggers when your opponent attacks with their hero, meaning it's only useful against weapon classes or Druid. Is the effect permanent? It's crazily overpowered if it's permanent. Also, you shouldn't use "he" because there are female heroes.
I like flavourful tech cards, so being playable vs 1 or 2 deck is enough for me.
Thank you for wording feedback, altough i still don't have better idea for "Whenever enemy Hero attacks, he discards a random card". The effect iis permanent (until Hero Card is played ) and yes it's overcosted. I just focused only on Kingsbane powerlevel :P . How much it should costin your opinion?
Here's my idea for the week. It's riffs of the curse surrounding the violation of "guest right" in Game of Thrones. It might not kill you right now, but it'll catch up to you eventually.
I like new cards, which are easy comparable and balancable with existing cards.
I also like Game of thrones, but i think card name + artwork are to far from card effect. I think you can get more flavour points with different card name + artwork.
My doubt here is: does this card keep reducing the HP cost until it costs (2) or (0)?
Also, I'm not sure if the flavor is there. Maybe if it kept increasing the cost instead of reducing it, it would make more sense, but it'd be unbalanced as heck.
It's probably a very weak card, but this is what I came up with after thinking about it for a little. Thoughts?
Yeah, it's weak. I'd like it more if you could fit a "Draw a card", but the text is already too long. Another option is making it cost (1) or even (0).
Btw, here are my cards:
Pain Link is my favourite, but I'm not sure if it fits the requirement.
Curse of Flames was going to be called Curse of Flatulence, but I decided to be more serious.
Curse of Ignorance is a twisted version of Paladin's Blessing of Wisdom. I'm not sure if it offers anything besides that and a funny art, however.
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3

Which one do you prefer?
I'm pretty sure neither Pain Link nor Curse of Flames qualify. Dealing damage is not a debuff.
Curse of Ignorance, however, qualifies. The card itself has a pretty neat effect. The flavour of the card feels weird; "Curse" and "Ignorance" don't really go well together and I feel they don't fit the card. That's just me, though.

Curse of Flames would qualify: it's not straight damage to a minion, it's a debuff to a specific minion which happens to deal damage. For instance, "Give a minion 'At the start of your turn, deal 2 damage to your Hero.'" is pretty clearly a debuff.
Today in my free brawl pack I got Barongeddon, then I had a cup of fresh green tea. As a result of that, I think Priest is OP because my keyboard is not a mechanical one. I hope Blizzard will address this issue.
Pain Link is my favourite, but I'm not sure if it fits the requirement.

I don't really like Pain Link. It seems like a card you just play to get a "Deal (X) damage to all enemy minions" text on your damaging cards. Curse of Flatulence Flames isn't too bad, but I don't think it's necessary. It seems like the effect of Despicable Dreadlord on an enemy minion, but much easier to remove (in most scenarios), however, you did balance it with some face damage, which I like. Curse of Ignorance just doesn't fit the flavour and art, but the effect is pretty cool. Perhaps change the name to something like "Curse of Karma" (or, if you're feeling edgy, you could call it "Income Tax"). That said, you may want to change the art as well.
Here's me attempting to get back on these weekly comps again :P
Essencce Drain is weird. Does it act like a secret, or is it like Bloodbloom? For consistency's sake, I'll consider that it works like Bloodbloom. Currently, Warlock has quite a lot of healing effects in Even Warlock and Heal Zoo, and especially in the Deathknight hero power. You'd play this in anticipation of a strong healing effect like Healing Rain or Greater Healing Potion, and this nullifies it, meaning if your opponent is low, they'd need some other way to defend themselves. Which is a cool idea, I really like it, however, it seems not too hard to outplay, either just play two copies of said healing card, or just play a Voodoo Doctor first. This card either can shut down the end game for you, or it can just be a waste of a few mana crystals. Interesting idea though.
If Ghastly Glare is permanent, then we may have just found one of the most broken cards in existence. If your opponent's board is full, and they're playing something like Odd Paladin with no way to damage their minions, they've essentially lost. It's basically a better Frost Nova, which is already a pretty good card. This card single-handedly destroys Aggro and Tempo and basically acts as another Ice Block. I think choosing one minion that can't attack the enemy hero is powerful enough, but all of them is just so strong.
Soul Shackles is an interesting card. It requires some setup, like a juicy taunt or something. Otherwise, it's basically a card that says "Do face damage this turn". Standalone, it's not too great, but in the right circumstance, it can be pretty damn poggers.
Here are my cards btw. I wanna find a better art for Cursed Horde, but I think Full Moon is pretty cool.
Notice that when a minion is immune, it cannot taunt. However, the minion with immunity keeps all its special effects, like Ysera or The Lich King. So this card is a specific counter to minions with high attack or heavily buffed, or minions with deathrattle.
I prefer Pain Link, but I don't think it counts. Tbh I'm not huge on the other two. Curse of Flames is fine design but a bit wordy, and I'm against making your opponents discard; it's unfun for them. Out of those two, I'd pick Curse of Flames.
@Vilegloom
I'm not huge on Essence Drain since it's essentially just a tech card, but at the same time, there's currently no healing tech out there, and Healing Rain is pretty annoying. I think GameTheory has a point about Ghastly Glare- being boardlocked is no fun- but your opponent should be playing around clears anyway. I do feel like that would be the main point of the card, though; otherwise I'd just rather kill them. I do like Soul Shackles, though. It gives some protection from trading or could be used with setup to steal some guys. My only grievance is that it's kind of complex and hard to parse. I still don't totally get what it does; do you only get the first minion that dies, but all of them?
@GameTheory345
Definitely Full Moon. It's like a less consistent Polymorph but also continuesTreachery's line of thought, and I don't think I've seen anything quite like it, which I can't say for the other card.
What do people think of this? Please say it's good; with the big comp, I don't know if I can spare the creativity to come up with another.

I would change wording to "Choose an enemy minion. It goes dormant, but preserves card text."
a little worse than polymorh, but it can reduce enemy battlefield to only 5 minions. Could be changed to 4 or 5 mana, but warlock cards sometimes cost a little more, so seems balanced for me.
as i understood correctly you want to create something like Nether Portal
What do people think of this? Please say it's good; with the big comp, I don't know if I can spare the creativity to come up with another.
The main problem I see with this is that changing a minion's Attack to 0 can be very dangerous because it can take up space on the board permanently. Imagine you're playing against a Paladin that summons lots of Silver Hand Recruits, or any token deck that spawns a bunch of 1/1s. All of a sudden, they can't do anything and just take up space on the board. Although removal spells may somewhat mitigate this.
EDIT: That and all cards in this competition have to be spells.

Thanks for the feedback! Soul Shackle is supposed to summon (at the start of your next turn) whatever dies during your opponent's next turn. Seems like it wasn't clear. I'll probably go with this idea, though.
Your cards is... simple. It's not bad, just simple. Usually simpler cards don't do as well as more complex cards, but you do your cards as you like. The idea itself is effective, and can protect you against most aggro/token decks (Paladin, Druid). Not too bad.
Also, HUGE missed opportunity to call it Dread Lord (dreadlord, nathrezim). That's just me tho :)
Alright so here's a card I was working on even before this contest was announced, interestingly enough. The crafting process is similar to Kazakus, but you only pick one effect for the curse rather than two.
Costs:
Pain:
Amnesia:
Hysteria:
I'd love to know peoples thoughts on the balance of each effect, as well as if I should add more effects or not.
Essence Drain is too dependant on match-up, as it's completely useless against a deck without healing, and pretty bad against Priest.
Soul Shackles is overcosted also situational. If your opponent has a board that allows him to kill your stuff without trading, or has removal or has no minions, this card is pretty bad. I would reduce its cost to 3, and even then I'm not too sure.
Ghostly Glare is my favourite of the bunch. It's really useful as an anti-aggro card, and can also be good against control if your opponent has a big body with high attack.
@GameTheory345
Cursed Horde is a bit underpowered, IMO. Consider Soul of the Forest, which, sure, costs 1 Mana more, but the tokens are bigger and you have more control over it. So, I would decrease its cost to (2) or make the tokens 2/2.
I prefer Full Moon, however. It's a pretty interesting take on transform removal. (Does transform removal count, though? If Polymorph or Hex were Warlock cards, would they qualify to this competition?)
@Adamaxes
Siren's Temptation is really interesting, altough I think 6 mana is a bit too much. Sure, it reduces your opponent's board, but it's not good against a lot of minions you usually want to target hard removal at, such as Ragnaros the Firelord or The Lich King. As it is right now, Soul Siphon is much better IMO.
@TheProgenitor
Fearcaller does not qualify, as it needs to be a spell. Cool card, however.

Should say: Give enemy minions "Deathrattle: Summon a 1/1 Zombie for you opponent."
Full moon is written correctly.
Already posted in submission but I quite like what Ive come up with, wanting to hear feedback on balance.

When a 2-attack minion attacks two bombs will deal 1 damage each on a random minion. If a 4-attack minion deals damage there will be 4 bombs.
