One problem I see is that Gnomish Airlines could just be run in a deck without weapons and is thus, just a 6 mana 5/7 Rush, Windfury with no "drawback". I use air quotes because the effect can actually be an upside sometimes. It seems too powerful.

Well, at least i cant complain about deck attacks since it is literally the theme :D Im kinda interested if we get some rly innovative ideas being pushed to do this or just the regular "this makes it balanced" stuff :)
I was thinking the same thing. "Eww, Mill is gross...but I have to do it so here we go..." Here's my current idea:
Think the stats might be too low, though. You could steal their King Krush...or their Stitched Tracker. Woo.
I see this will be common artwork in this competition.

I agree: if a player considers the Battlecry to be negative, the answer to avoid it is obvious and easy. While it's fair to say that Warrior decks sans Weapons are a rare sight, it's not impossible.

Oh lol I didn't even notice. Was just looking for something "conjurer-y" from among what I had saved.

Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3

Thank you for the feedback! So, what stats would you give this to make it balanced?:

Oh, so now it discards all weapons AND spells. That actually makes it harder a little bit more interesting to calculate. I'd estimate a 7 mana minion with Rush and Windfury alone to be about 11 or 12 stat points, so maybe 4/7 or 5/7. The destruction effect is very hard to estimate though. I'd say maybe play it safe and probably only add 2 stat points maximum for that effect, and maybe someone else can take it from there. I'm not always the best at judging the balance of complex cards like this.

I'm pretty sure taking existing cards and slightly tweaking them isn't a good idea. I don't even know if it's allowed, because it doesn't sound like it should be.

Agreed: For WCDC entries, please don't "update" old cards to pass them off as your Submission. We might actually have a theme wherein people revisit existing cards to buff or nerf them as they feel is appropriate, but we'd really prefer it if you made your own 100% unique stuff. Show off that creativity! :)
Also, while you could theoretically use the second card's Battlecry on your own unique minion, the art for Songstealer is already being used by Kabal Songstealer. I hope you weren't intending to completely alter its original design purpose :(

So, how is the effect? It's a hand attack, but it gives your opponent an opportunity to get the card back by destroying this. You could also do some pretty evil things with Silence. I don't exactly know what stats to give it, I thought ideally something with high health so it would take some more effort on your opponent's part to get the card back. I didn't realize this until I already started making this post, but it would also give you information about your opponent's hand because it will reveal the card you discarded when you play it, and when it dies, you'll know they have it in their hand.

The effect seems fine. For stats, 5/3/6 was my initial thought: 4-attack would be rude to Priests, and it has the higher Health you wanted. You could maybe drop it down to 4/3/6 like Water Elemental; depends on how much you value the hand-attack minus the give-back.

@Vilegloom I've struggled with evaluating a similar card before. Ended up costing it at 7 'cus it was for Warlock and the class was too good back then; you can probably get away with 6, but still, I don't think it should be a Priest card.
@Phoenixfeather If you have one Summoning Portal, you could summon another one and combo this with Toggwaggle and Azalina. I approve of it. lol
@KingKuba I dunno, I don't like it really. Why not just make it mill your opponent as well? You're not playing this to generate 2/3 bodies.
@Warmingbird I quite like the idea but I'm not sure how much it should cost.
@Kovachut I don't know about the first card, though I don't think it would be too powerful, but the other two are crazy good. Gilnean Necromancer is better than Flamewreathed Faceless and Lust for Power works like an early Jaraxxus without a meaningful drawback. If your opponent has to deal with a 5/5 every turn from turn 4 onwards, there's no way you lose even if you discard your entire deck.
@Toble I actually like deck destruction and I have the exact opposite idea. We should do this carefully and limit it so it doesn't get potentially so frustrating like this card.
@linkblade91 Reminds me of Ram Wrangler, but there's actually some skill involved in playing this. I actually think it could cost more, though. In a meta like the one we have right now, it has huge potential.
@Demonxz95 I think if you want it to see play, probably needs to be fully-statted. The effect is pretty cool, yet simple. I like it.
So how's this? These monkeys pick at each other's fur, removing dirt until they can get their hands on some sweet, delicious bugs. Probably needs some more development and different wording.

While I'm aware of the real-life nature reference, I'm gonna say "eww" anyway :P
Regarding the phrasing, wording it as "Battlecry: Remove cards from the top of your deck until you remove a Beast..." sounds better, in my opinion.

So for this week I go back to minion I have used before, The Incognito Rogue. For this week, my idea is to have a card that and copy a certain minion and destroy it from that deck. Thoughts?

My Entry for this week's Card Design Competition - Season 8.16:
I just want to ask if the entry needs to be serious. Can i make a "meme"-ish card? It'll still be mechanically a legit and (hopefully) balanced card, but the name and image would be funny.

You can make funny cards so long as you're not actively trying to troll with something stupid. Most people prefer a "serious" card, but if it's mechanically sound and (hopefully) balanced, then you should be fine with us mods.

You've got sleight of hand— you distract your opponent with your flashy spells all the while thinning their deck so you get the advantage. Also mill rogue.

1. A new Doomguard without Charge or Discard.
2. We need something to counter shudderwock.

Is this too much?
16/17 Damage in turn 10 might be too much, but if you don't win fast it loses a lot of potential.
Edit: bad maths lol

• TRIALS IN AUCHINDOUN - A Custom Hearthstone Adventure (4th Wing!) • New and Interesting Hearthstone Mechanics (by me!) •

Interesting idea for a Rogue spell I had. It echoes a recurring theme in that class of summoning 1/1 copies of minions.
This feels very expensive because you'd need a lot of minions in your hand with useful Deathrattle/Passive effects and you also get rid of your hand.
