This Week's Finalists 

Competition-Specific Restrictions:

• Make a spell.
• It has to show synergy with one of the three main spell heavy decks, being Big Spell Mage, Spell Hunter and Miracle Rogue.

We have whittled down ~ 80 valid submissions to just 8 of the community's favorites.

Dragoncalling actually is Solia powercreeped :P

How is critical mass legal? Isn't it supposed to be a big spell mage card?

 I mean, it increases your Spell Power more, if you have a lot of high cost spells, which Big Spell Mage tend to have.

Why Demonxz95 isn't a game designer yet BTW? XD

 There are a couple different factors that could explain the low turnout:

• School is out for a large number of people; they might be on vacation or busy with a Summer job.
• It's the first WCDC since the break, and people aren't back in the habit yet.
• People are focusing their attention on the Big/Year comp.

But big spell mage only runs big spells, and 2 mana isnt big....

 An unfortunate situation that wasn't intentional: there was some miscommunication on our side of things :(

Partting likely to get a deserved win. I slighlty prefer the last one (Time's money), but voted for both.

The othercards tend to be pretty unimaginative and/or overpowered.

Parroting so funny card ))) 

Well, these r a little too good for my taste :D but gl!

Lone Hunt is wicked cool.  Gets my vote. A simple, high-impact, yet (seemingly) balanced card; could lead to a whole new hybrid hunter archetype. Love it!

Parroting is also fantastic. The fact that it's a secret (and controlled by your opponent) makes it quite balanced.

The rest of the cards seem waaaay too overpowered/abusable.

Turn 10:

1. Play Critical Mass, discard any 7-card

2. Frostbolt face

3. Frostbolt face 

4. Fireball face 

5. "My magic will tear you apart!"

This is waaaay too busted and easy to do. There wouldn't be any reason to use Dragoncaller Alana if this card existed since you would rather have more space in your deck for big spells.

 You have to reveal a spell from your deck. For this combo to work, you'd have to make it to turn 10, have all those cards in your hand, and draw a big spell. It's hard to pull off. The reason I liked the card when I made it was that there are a lot of decisions to make as to how many other small spells to put in the deck to deal damage with this, knowing that every small spell weakens the deck. 

To me, the best uses are maybe adding frostbolts, or turn 10 this plus sorcerer's apprentice plus pyroblast. In wild, i think it's great with Greayer Arcane Missiles.
