Zakat's got big plans. He's a trade-prince, but he's always been one of the weaker ones. But things are going to change. Zakat's been amassing wealth to do what everyone once thought was impossible—he's going to break into the famed Azerite Vault.
The core mechanic of this expansion is the Side-Quest. It functions very similarly to the regular Quest mechanic, except it's attached to minions, and both the quests and the rewards are much smaller in the scale. Side-Quests can only be completed once, and they can't be completed once the minion dies.

In addition to a bunch of cards, I'd like to introduce the foundations of a development team for the project (And possibly future ones). We're taking applicants as well; if you can prove you're a good card designer or you can offer something else valuable to the team, feel free to send me a message on Hearthpwn and I'll read it over. If we accept you, you'll get an invite to our private Discord server.
In addition to a bunch of cards, we've started recording lines for some of the cards, which my friend who goes by "Cece" graciously volunteered for. Specifically, we have 6 lines for Nexus-Prince Zakat, 5 lines for Sir Goldblossom, 3 lines for Stoic Doorman, and 3 lines for Hired Muscle. Further down the line, after adding some sound effects to the voicelines, we'll showcase them for you to listen to.

Going forward, each update is going to leave a new class completed, along with a few Neutral cards. After that, we're gonna do a expansion-wide check for typos and stuff like that. I also updated the page so the cards are all more organized.
With Rogue complete, nearly every Neutral slot filled, and with every other class currently holding at least 3 cards, I suspect the initial development of all the cards will be complete by mid to late September. We also have plans to write and record dialogue and sound FX for all the cards and make deck recipes for the fan set, as well as other miscellaneous things like that. So my original plan was to finish up all the cards in one fell swoop, make a super mega ultra big update to the page, and then do an overall balance check, and then continue on with the rest of the project. However, it's been nearly a month since the last update, so I figured it would probably be for the best if I updated the page with all the progress we've made.
107 cards finished! A few of the cards need to be rebalanced, and a handful of cards have text errors that mess with the card, but overall I think we've been able to hold a very solid grasp over the balance of the set while still trying out new ideas. With only 28 cards left to make, I've decided to lay the foundations for a second card set that will be revealed after we're finished with this set. Thanks for looking at our cards!
Wicker Blast is too OP it deals 6 damage to all enemies
To clarify, the card deals 4 damage to an enemy of your choice. Then, it does 3 damage to another enemy. Then it does 2 damage to another enemy. Then it does 1 to another enemy. And then it stops going off.
