Azeroth is once again in turmoil. The Horde and Alliance are clashing once again, this time on the long-forgotten continent of Pandaria. With the help of the dangerous Zandalari, the Mogu have once again risen to rise an army and rebuild their lost nation. And all this hatred and desire for revenge has lead to the Sha once again spreading their influence to the once peaceful Pandaren folk, who strive to maintain a harmonious existence. Who will reign supreme in this war for Pandaria?
Mechanics
The major mechanic of this expansion is Meditate. This keyword is a lot like Battlecry, except it triggers at the start of the next turn. This rewards maintaining control over the board and having the intuition to know whether or not your opponent will have the correct answer for it. The Pandaren, peaceful by nature, like to make decisions by meditating and finding clarity.
The secondary mechanic of Dawn of the Celestials has to do with cards activating from not having Class minions in your deck, as there are some on the continent who strike to maintain their independence and neutrality, and will fight to the end to maintain it.
Cool stuff. I'm a bit worried about Empress Shek'zeer and Lei Shen. To support those cards you'll need a ton of in set synergies.
I think I plan on having 3-4 cards for Warlock that destroy Mana Crystals, one of which will destroy 2. As for Lei Shen... I don't know it's a pretty strong standalone card on its on, but not a game-changing play. I will definitely make transform effects a more supported archetype though.
Should be Dezco Sunwalker, dawnchaser is his tribe, and the Sunwalker Brave should be Dawnchaser Brave.
Actually no. Though Dezco's last name is never stated, it can be assumed his last name is Dawnchaser because he's the chieftain of the Dawnchaser tribe, as is typical of Tauren tribes (I.E. Baine Bloodhoof, Magatha Grimtotem). Also the Brave is a member of the Sunwalkers, not the Dawnchasers.
I can remember seeing your Dragonflights of Azeroth expansion and it inspiring me to make my own haha. Regardless, i love the theme and the flavour of the expansion. Could very easily actually be in the game. There's also some really great ideas in here that could work very well and the only complaint would be that the overall powerlevel of the set is pretty low. There are still some really well made and balanced cards in the set and just a few maybe too powerful cards but the set as a whole is fantastic :)
Also, if a minion with Meditate dies before your next turn does the effect still trigger? If so i feel it might be too slow, i'd actually think they would be balanced if they triggered regardless.

I can definitely see some of the cards being pretty low in terms of power level. In particular I know Rowdy Patron and Mutated Grooker are very weak in terms of power level, so I might end up changing them in the future. However, I don't really see an issue with power level at the moment. Would you care to elaborate?
Oh, and Dragonflights wasn't abandoned, just shelved for the forseeable future. I'm glad that expansion inspired you though! :D

I'm getting a lot of Whispers of Pandaria vibes here...
Uh...I think you mean Petal Mixer, right?
Now I really want the next set to be Pandaria. Too bad their isn't any way to properly play with your cards.
