1) Why are "Cards" written with an uppercase? You have missed the word "Hero Power" in the new hero power.
2) Do you mean "until the start of your next turn"? I get, that the text will become more than 4 lines, but some things have to be rowerded better. 3) The Satyr is nice (missing an uppercase). Dreadmare and Nightmare are also nice. About Ysera Roars - amm, I don't like the title and most importantly - this is a broken reno jackson (heal + board clear for 2 mana), so change it. About the drake - I know, that that's a corrupted version, but I think it's way too stuffed. The stat distribution makes it survive several hits and it has poisonous on top of it. Make it a 5 mana 4/7 with Divine shield?
1) cards is written in upper case because the original ysera has it uppercased in her text. i used her as an example as this is more similar to her effect.
2) the new warlock card, curse of weakness, has the same wording. i don't think it'll need to be changed.
3) I fixed satyr. i'll probably change the name of ysera roars but it's a small upgrade to ysera awakens. at worst, it'll cost 3 mana probably. the drake really isn't over statted. it is emerald drake with flipped stats and poisonous. poisonous won't really matter unless its killing a big minion and it'll probably die in the process.
these are the nightmare cards. they are spin offs of the normal yseras dream cards. emerald drake to nightmare drake, dream to nightmare, laughing sister to cackling satyr, nightmare to dreadmare, and ysera awakens to nightmare breath.
this is my revised idea. changed some art, updated some text, adjusted mana a bit.
how would bukas effect go off? it's a minion and your deck needs no minions. dragon's roar seems cool. gives some card draw and it has to be played differently like defile. i have no useful opinions on beastly pact.
1) I think Nightmare Breath is much too strong. With 5 minions on the board you can instantly heal yourself completely. With the Ysera card you have also harmed yourself (ok, with the new hero you are ysera yourself, but with the original spell you have harmed your hero and spared the Minion).
2) I don't think Nightmare Drake needs a poisonus. With 6 attacks, he can do most minions like this. Most Poisonus Minions have little attack and rather more life. I think with Lifesteal it would be more suitable.
3) Dreadmare. The original spell usually strengthened its own minion and killed it after a round. Now you weaken an enemy Minion and kill him. Maybe worth optimizing again.
Okay, I'm awake and can now start reviewing cards!
Page 1:
Fiery Strafe: It's a simple, but interesting card! Hunter doesn't have a lot of direct control like Mage or Paladin, so a card like this would be quite beneficial. For those same reasons, I think it's balanced in terms of effect and cost.
Sapphiron: I think this is actually quite OP! If you can craft two 9-cost Dragons together into a 10-cost card -- imagine Alexstraza/Ysera -- then you'd be getting absurd value.
Nightmare Ysera: (See Sapphiron.)
---
Treasure Hound: Awww, it's so cute! This seems nicely balanced and a useful tool in the early game for defense against early aggro decks with low-health minions. It's a Wyrmrest Agent for Hunter, which I can appreciate.
---
Dragon Breeder: This might be too strong; having two dragons at first guarantees the next, but from there it likely becomes infinite dragon generation which could lead to some absurdly good late-game value.
---
Blazing Roar: In a lot of cases, you would want to play your dragon for the battlecry, so this could be a detriment. The average cost of a dragon in Hearthstone is 6.61538462 mana, so, on average, this is a slight cost reduction. Alongside the conditional to kill a minion, which is easily met, I guess it's decently balanced. The idea is interesting, but I'm not sure I'd want to play it due to the mitigation of battlecries.
Chimerical Companion: A simple but interesting card! There are some serious benefits to having this card on the board, and I'd love to see Dire Frenzy pulled off with it.
The Hatchling: I think this causes more problems than solutions. There is a very likely chance that you overdraw cards because of this, and I feel like it's outdone by the Hunter's Mark/Unleash the Hounds combo.
---
Lake Wyrm: I love the elegance of this card! It's straightforward and could easily be used for clear.
Scalebane Broodmother: That's a powerful effect, but I think a 2/3 being 4 mana justifies it.
Guard the Hoard: I like the idea behind Guard the Hoard and the thematic element of an opponent efficiently using mana to summon it. In my opinion, it's the most unique card of the three!
---
Emerald Wyrm: This is possible Ysera with +3/+3 on turn 4! That's crazy levels of value. In a dragon-oriented deck, I suspect this would occur quite often, and given the quality of cards that Ysera drops, the opponent would either have to immediately remove her or concede due to that insane power spike.
---
Bounty Hunter: It's straightforward and great value for its effect.
Dragon Maiden: The immediate comparison is Fight Promoter, and this is definitely the superior in terms of card draw value; rather than just drawing two cards, you're instead drawing 2 dragons, specifically, with an easier conditional. Since this would only really see play in a dragon-oriented Hunter deck, I guess it's balanced and would easily be a staple card.
Wyrmrest Champion: It's rather bland, in my opinion, but it has the potential to get serious value depending on how many dragons a Hunter could fit into such a deck. Personally, I like Dragon Maiden the best.
---
Just a side-note for Nurgling: As someone studying at Caltech, I love that you have a Feynman Diagram as your profile picture! Anyway, moving on to the cards.
Emerald Energy Caster: It's a unique idea, and I immediately see the benefit for even lower-cost cards like Faerie Dragon which could become a turn 3 5/4 with Elusive. I like it!
---
Celestial Soul Bond: The immediate comparison is to Infest which is 1 mana more for beasts, which gets less value than dragons. I would increase this card's mana cost by (2).
Skymother Nephees: That's quite interesting! I'm not sure how it really fits into the Hunter theme, and honestly preventing your opponent from playing cards is a powerful mechanic that warrants this having less health. That said, I do like the concept!
Dragons Warcry: I'm tempted to say reduce it to two dragons, since you could easily have a 16/16 on the board for 10 mana with this card. It's a powerful card, but personally I still like Skymother Nephees the best.
Basically you need to play all your dragons that is something already difficult and then you gain something that costs 8 mana to summon those dragons but you have already played most of them? Makes no sense for me. Reward super overcosted for a meh effect.
Is the Beast Buddy just a Vanilla 2/4 Beast? I think it would make more sense if it was the other way around (i.e., the Beast Buddy summons the Drake Buddy) based on the art. Then it would be like the Dragon is coming to the aid of the cat. The way you have it right now might work better mechanically, though.

I suppose it would be more effective if it said "no OTHER minions". But I was just following the current Start of Game theme. Ideally though, being Start of Game it would register that Buka would be pulled straight from then deck, THEN it would search your deck for minions to activate his effect.
Also, ironically, Beastly Pact was the one I was most proud of haha. It felt the most flavourful.

It really works either way and i agree that the art makes a little more sense the other way, but it needs to be a Dragon for this week's restriction and I feel this "Dragon minion in Hunter that summons a beast" feels unique and more interesting. And yeah, the idea is that the other comes when his friend is attacked.
As for Energy Caster, I think the effect of "attacking your friendly minion" is unnecessary here. It doesn't add any flavor or makes sense mechanical wise, but maybe that can be improved by using a different art / name. You should also rewrite it to "You can attack a friendly Dragon to give it +2/+2 instead."

The idea is supposed to be like Ana in Overwatch, where she has a gun that will hurt enemies or heal allies. Like, you're shooting some sort of energy booster that only affects your Dragons. I struggled to come up with a good name and art, though. The idea I had with this one is that the bow is infused with Emerald Dragon energy or something like that, and it shoots like energy bolts. I guess it's also kinda how like Death Coil in the Warcraft series will heal Undead and hurt others.
Also, mechanically, the fact that it requires you to attack is meant to slow it down. Something like Sword of Justice has the potential to buff a lot of units quickly, which has to be baked into the balance. A slower weapon like mine, where you can only buff one unit per turn, should then theoretically be allowed to have more stats for its cost. It also creates an opportunity cost where you can either Attack or buff a Dragon on any give turn.
name art and rarity is not final, but more than anything I'd like your opinion on the effect. Is it balanced? (conditional 9/8 for 7 mana) And is it interesting enough?
This is definitely my favourite card that I've seen in this thread so far. I love the general concept and the connection to an already existing card. This one card can support both turns three and four by itself, and set up for a strong turn five Carrion Drake. This is a card that would certainly help push for a viable Dragon Hunter deck archetype. I don't think it's overpowered at all (in fact 2/2 is probably the lowest I would have gone with).
(Also I apologise for being pedantic, but I would throw in a comma after 'Dragon'!)
The Hatching by Vilegloom (page 1) - "Summon seven 1/1 Whelps to attack an enemy minion. Return any that survived to your hand". Also the flavor and art can be improved.
Dragonmaw Skybreaker by Yothats (page 3) - "destroy a random..."
Finally going through and providing feedback for feedback and cards that jumped out at me
Starting off, I think the 'Dragons are Beasts' archetype is lazy so not gonna vote for anything like that
@JFKilluminati Celestial Soul Bond seems the most playable out of the 3, the other 2 are just so niche and gimmicky. Plus I like the effect of the card. Power level is fine too because while it costs 1 less than Infest, it has the condition of requiring beasts. Would vote for this.
@ihascorm I loved the original Timberland Scourge; very similar to my Lake Wyrm. Its conditional removal while the card is guaranteed to stay alive, 4 attack seems appropriate because its enough to clear small threats but not the large ones.
@IgnatiousJReilly Vengeful Drake is my favorite of the 3, however meeting its condition is underwhelming. Having a dragon die for a 4 mana 4/5 with Rush is underwhelming when Warrior gets a 2/5 Rush that becomes a 5/5 without having to meet any requirements. Maybe open up the requirement to be 'when a minion dies' or make it +2/+2
@Kovachut Wyrmrest Drakonoid. Me Go Face. Love it. Extremely balanced and if it existed I would 100% play this in Hunter regardless of Dragon or not, just an added bonus. 200% would vote.
@CheeseEtc I had a very similar idea but couldn't find artwork so I gave up on it, kudos to you for finding it. I love all the eggs in game and I feel like they don't get enough credit. The only card I can really compare this to is Eggnapper I guess but Abductor is clearly more powerful, 4/4 for 4 with the upside of getting 2 Dragons (which are usually powerful but not always) seems like a bit too much. I love where it is now and the condition may justify the stats but maybe think of making it a 4 mana 3/3 just because I feel like hunters have so many egg activators they can get a too much value off this card while having a 4/4 body.
@FrostyBlue I agree, Start of Game condition is crazy good in a bad way. Means starting with coin you have 5 cards in hand and with coin you have 6, thats crazy early game. Maybe think of making it more like Kathrena in a Battlecry/Deathrattle draw way OR you can make it exactly like Kathrena in Battlecry/Deathrattle/Recruit if you bump up the mana cost by 3. (Id stay away from that though that means turn 8/9 Prince and Deathwing so maybe too much.)
@SoulBattle Flavor for this card is on point, makes sense to have stealth but the taunt is a little confusing; yeah its nice but most stealth minions when they have taunt end up not needing it because they usually trade (at least in my experience) maybe consider making it stealth and +attack instead?
Obligatory bump of my cards now; down to just a secret and Lake Wyrm
Hey guys! I usually like elegantly simple cards, but this time, I decided to go buck wild and make a crazy card. It's based on an actual quest from WoW, though I took a few liberties. What do you think? Too slow, too strong? Is it flavorful enough? Any feedback would be appreciated!

My ideas for the week
Like the theme, will be back later to return some feedback but here's a version of my initial thoughts. (not too fond of image, just a place holder)
this is my idea for this week
Put your spoiler here.
