Random restriction that makes no sense and limits design space for no reason. Bad.

Damn, I like this.

Nice challenge that is not very difficult. I like it.

As a non-native speaker this one could be hard for me (and as far as I can tell I'm the only non-native among the finalists), however it's just flavor text so it's not as penalizing as "Nuts // Bolts" back in phase 2. I can take it but it would still be annoying.

Sea Witch = Fish/fishing, Summoner = Conjured food, Necromancer = ...any KFT card really. Nice little challenge.

I already have a nice idea for an "unidentified" card and a "cast this again" one, so it's noice.

Voted for 2,3 and 5.

I love how the previous phases of this competition got about 5 posts maximum on their news article, then all of a sudden, advertising the challenges for the last phase got about 15.

Which makes absolutely zero sense. Why did they choose this of all times to express they were annoyed? Besides, advertising fan competitions is important to increase the exposure across the website to increase competitors and voters. I suppose having voting threads effectively doubles the number of news articles needed for this which is part of it, but were people as vocal about this opinion in previous Class Competitions? They certainly weren't for the Expansion Competition. They're annoyed about this competition, but none of the other big comps. Then there's the 2 people in the entire history of human existence that want to be able to block them from the news page, which I'm never going to be able to wrap my head around.

The big difference with other big comps is the amount of phases posted on the front page. I think the adventure comp only was posted on the front page twice and I think this comp was posted for all phases. I hope that, when this comp finishes, there will be another thread to evaluate the comp because I think I have some ideas of improving the concept. I really hope that, despite the negative comments by some of the people on hearthpwn, the community for card creation will stay for a long time.

Yeah that would be good. I believe tox has already come up with a few ideas, especially regarding the front page, but nothing has been set in stone yet.

I will say, this comp has both more phases than any previous comp (6, where I'm pretty sure most other comps only had 5?) and also had the extra front page exposure of the Challenge Poll, which would come right after the previous phase's voting poll. So that's easily more than double the front page exposure of any previous comp.

While challenges are certainly interesting, we definitely won't be doing them for whatever the next big comp is, so that'll cut down on a lot of complaints, I imagine.
