An interesting tool for control hunter, seeing as it needs to be killed in one turn or else it heals back to full every turn, with the downside being you can never attack with it, or buff it in any way.

An effective tool for Paladin to protect the swarm of cheap minions. Remember that when minion awake/revive from dormant state, their buff/debuff are removed. The
secret
forces the player to buff the minion early to play around AOE clear or buff the minion later to maximize the damage outcome.
Something to take advantage of the fact that dormant minions just take up board real estate. Behind a
taunt
against some minion heavy aggro deck, your op might lose half their board space in one turn.
I want to see support for Elemental druid in the future potentially, and I think this could help that, as well as synergize with
taunt
Druid. It has fine base stats, but can potentially be revived turn after turn with enough investment. Keep in mind you only need to play two elementals total, not two in a turn. However, this could end up clogging your board if enough copies stay dormant for too long. Think of it as an alternative
Astral Tiger
.
Here's my take on this weeks competition, George and his buddy Karl. The abilities are inspired by their dungeon run hero powers, so George is an loner, and Karl is the more social type :) The dormant requirement can be used to regain
Divine Shield
on George and health on Karl, just like Sherazin.
"I'm telling you, your minions are only MOSTLY dead."
Tokens:
When Velyx comes down on the board, all minions (including Velyx) go dormant, like he just threw out a sleeping potion. So he buys you at least one turn, as your opponent's minions won't be able to attack the turn they wake up and he can be comboed with
Doomsayer
to give you more time (unless your opponent plays the Smelling Salts, in which case he gives you an asymmetrical boardclear). Once your opponent plays the Smelling Salts, you get one of three powerful Concoction spells to both awaken your minions and improve your board state. This also allows for counterplay from your opponent: if their board doesn't matter as much to them they can hold onto the Smelling Salts for a while to deny you the Concoction.
Flavor text: Doctors real problem are the big patients, yes yes really strong and braves, they don't tremble against the most powerfull enemies, but when they see the syringe...oh boy.
Harala, the Mana Keeper is odd in that it is a card that you want to remain Dormant. it's effect is very powerful against control decks, and can help stop the mana ramp of druids.
Zelfrax is a "gargoyle-esque demon" from WoW. Flavor-wise, I turned him into a Weeping Angel from Doctor Who: if you can see him, he turns into a statue. If you
cannot
see him, he's moments away from tearing you apart! D:
Gameplay-wise, he's rather straightforward at face value.
But
, the real trick behind Zelfrax is to make him go dormant on purpose, using minions like
Hungry Dragon
,
Gravelsnout Knight
, or
Leeroy Jenkins
. You give your opponent a minion after Zelfrax attacks, then clear it out right after; this causes Zelfrax to reawaken with
Charge
so he can immediately attack again.
In a more general sense, the dormant effect can also protect him from being cleared. The enemy has to plan out their turn in the proper order, so they don't play a minion
before
the spell or weapon they'll use to kill Zelfrax. Or maybe they'll leave him alone, controlling the board so his dormant state takes up space and backfires on you lol.
Behold, foolish interlopers! I am commanding this mortal to spread the will of the Scourge throughout the interwebs, encouraging you to seek out me, Archlich Kel'Thuzad! Now coming to you as the tenth class of Hearthstone!
I am a finalist in this Class Creation Competition, so if you could give it a look I would be greatly appreciative <3

I think it'd be a cool Hero to have in Hearthstone.

High reward if played in turn 5+
``behold the absolute power of wilfred fizzlebang´´
You play Saidan. If he gets Killed, he gets dormant and shuffles 5 Bats into your Deck. When you discard 3 of them it will activate Balnazzar.
