I'm in the group and did not see the post, but I've been in the group enough years to know that you were not kicked because of a custom card. If someone says that it was political nonsense, I'm gonna believe that. A non WoW related card is just a warning and most likely a deleted post. So either you left the group after your post was deleted and decided to BabyRage on the internet making stuff up, or you were kicked for political nonsense.
No, it was for the card. I have a message from the mod specifically stating that I was kicked for making that card.
Post it, but black out the names :D
I really just wanted to post the card, not really get into a whole thing about why I was kicked because, like I said, I kind of love the reason I was kicked. It'll make for a great story when I play Hearthstone with my buds. But since you're curious here's the direct quote from the mod on why I was kicked.
"I doubt cholesterol has anything to do with hearthstone/warcraft or any Blizzard game. That's the rules."
I would honestly like to see photos, because I don't believe that for a second they are banning you for that card. They are however good at banning people who deserve to be banned from the group who spew slurs and political nonsense. Below I will share some of the other fan created cards that really don't fit the Hearthstone lore but were still approved by admins. No they are not created by me, but those are just two photos created by someone in the community, we really want people to join the group. Also the last point I am going to make is, you have to be approved by and admin before your post is submitted by the group, so if someone really didn't like your card or it went against the guidlines why would it have been submitted in the first place.

Fair, but then as AbusingKel said, maybe change the thread title.
If that is a direct quote it is laughable. Some community were fan creations are not appreciated... There is even plenty of burger and cheese items in warcraft/wow

The thread title is part of what makes it a fun story. And the photographic evidence has been posted above. Now, if you'll excuse me I have Cubelocks to go fight as I work my way up the ladder. XD
The last thing I will say on this matter is there no way we can even tell if you faked that message to yourself or had a friend send it to you to make it look an admin sent it to you. But honestly if you have time to do so that's up to you. I'm not going to invest anymore time into this, for anyone who wants to join the group I say its been a quite fun alternative to join. It gives another fun community to join like hearthpwn.

There's a way to tell. I could have cropped the image over farther to the left so you could see exactly which mod it was. But I'm not going to do that. Yes, that particular mod is a massive tool, but I'm not going to expose his/her identity. There are enough crappy people on the Internet already doing that sort of thing.
I would just like to say thank you for taking the time to make this post. I am an admin of the group and because of this post we had an influx of more members. We appreciate your help in expanding the group and you have a great day sir! ;)
So I was kicked out of The Inn, the Facebook Hearthstone group, today for creating this card ...
Apparently creating silly cards not based on WoW lore violates the group rules. I gotta say though, it was kind of worth it, just so I can say I was kicked out for creating a cheeseburger monster. :XD
Youre more than welcome to post (silly) cards in our fancreations-forum :D
So I recommend you either make it a legendary card or keep it as rare but change its name to something generic like "Animated Cheeseburger"
Jeeves :P there are exeptions to rules! and this fits perfectly :D
Jeeves is the name of the card, but 'Jeeves' is also a word to describe a man who serves another man. Meaning it's portraying the role of the card rather than the name. This could also be another Jeeves robot that's just rare, hope this helps =P

You're welcome. And I genuinely mean that. The group itself is pretty great.
Hi. I'm one of the founders of The Inn. Our goal with The Inn is to provide a place with a little more structure than the average hearthstone group, and part of that includes rules that are a bit more firm than others. Allowing someone who repeatedly breaks those rules, as well as insults members of the group, is against the kind of community we're trying to grow. There are many other places on the internet where you are free to do so, just not in our group.
It may not mean much now, but you were not removed for violating our rules on fan made cards. Cards that violate the rules do not get approved past our moderation process that every post goes through. You were removed because you refused to listen to what our moderator team continually informed you were the rules, and proceeded to insult and berate said moderator. The political messages were just more problems that led us towards removing you. Politics have no place in our group, which is why both people in that discussion were removed. I have the messages sent between you two, and they tell the whole story. In fact, prior to your removal, said moderator even offered to help you with better designing the card so that it would be approved. You ignored those messages.
I can't sit here and say that we do everything right, but I can say that we do our best to strive towards making a group that most people want to be a part of. Our rules have changed over the years based on what the majority of members are requesting be done, and how our moderator team feels. Sorry if our group didn't meet your expectations. We'll take what you've said into consideration and use it to try and better our group.
Facebook is full of try hard purists. Even WoW, which Hearthstone was originally based off of, takes plenty of things from pop culture references to other IRL things such as food, entertainment, etc. Hearthstone wouldn't suffer from creating some random cards for fun :P

All I know is what your mod told me. In type. That I was removed for positing a card based on a subject that had nothing to do with Hearthstone/WoW lore. "That's the rules" he said. I'm sorry that my cheeseburger monster was the last straw. He truly was a dine-in creation in a drive thru world. And I think, were he alive today he'd say, "Hey, when life gives you an opportunity ... say, 'Yes, I WOULD like that super-sized for an extra 49 cents.'"

Makes an account to get the last word. It is what it is...

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
Clearly that group dynamic had issues that go beyond a custom card. It is probably just healthier to go your separate ways. I like the card, hold the drama and mayo.

Some people understand the mechanics of Heathstone but doesn't understand the spirit of the game at all.

Nice card, sorry to hear your group was full of people who've lived life without humour.
I'd say try to find a Discord group compared to a FB group. People always seem to be chiller in Discord.
Hope you find a new group you like.
