Going with a "classic" of mine! "Steal" isn't standard wording, but it simply feels more flavorful than saying "take control of...", and I don't think there's anything to misunderstand from that specific wording.
The rare wording is the "If your deck has no minions" wording. This card allows for an on flavor way to give spell hunter a little healing. It works well with animal companions which keeps it in line with the hunter ability in WOW. It also forces the deck to be ahead on board which makes for some interesting counterplay for aggro players.
Hmmm... that's a little odd... any "excess" damage you say, but 1 is the minimal damage... this card is just crap! it does nothing! How am I supposed to punish my opponent for swarming me with this card?... but wait... with some
in the equation... maybe... just maybe... yes? what do you say my little
? .. Who?
?! You mean... with the help of that Black bearded dwarf, right? That's a little wild... but I like your way of thinking!
A new spell joining the hearthstone tradition of "2 mana - deal 1 damage", with a Hunter flavor this time, and an interesting effect to build around.
Use the phrase "Your Hero Power can target minions" from
. This card is mostly for slower Hunter decks and can bring a lot of value, but Hunter has to deal with a weak turn 2. The flavor is based on the goddess of Hunting Artemis from Greek mythology.
