Deathwing has handed out Wild Cards to: Vilegloom
The competition is really heating up now, not least because Deathwing has managed to set the audience on fire. Again. A little over 20 competitors have mysteriously vanished, but the hot dog stand just got a bunch of new meat, so that's good. Now, as before, we need to decide what devilish challenges the competitors will be facing in this round, in addition to having to come up with 15 Classic cards. Deathwing himself actually thought of one of these challenges - see if you can guess which one!
The top three challenges will be what our remaining competitors face, so choose wisely!

We recognise that not all of our competitors will know what Phase III of a class creation competition will require of you, so in the spoiler below you'll find a rundown of the other rules for Phase III, to which the three highest voted challenges will be added.
(Note that some of these rules will have to be tweaked slightly depending on which challenges are chosen, but these are the basic idea).
PHASE III: The Classic Set
In this Phase, you will each construct your class's Classic Set . Here are the requirements for your Class Creation Competition Phase III Entry:
There are just a few elements of your class that you will repeat from your Phase I entry, to remind us who and what we're dealing with. If you'd like to repeat anything from your class's introductory explanation, including its flavor or whatever you believe makes it interesting or unique mechanically, that's fine, but try to keep it brief.
We do not want to see your Class's entire Classic Set out in the open.
The remaining ten (10) cards of your class's Classic Set must be presented behind a Spoiler Block (Inserting a Spoiler can be done by clicking the ! symbol on the top bar of the text editor.). These cards must obey the same rules are your examples cards with regards to expansion watermarks, rarity gems, and what keywords you may not use.
You should include your completed Basic Set from Phase II behind a Spoiler (Inserting a Spoiler can be done by clicking the ! symbol on the top bar of the text editor.) either before or after your Classic Set material. It is fine if these cards have undergone some minor modification since the end of Phase II, but thy must still adhere to all of Phase II's requirements.

Grand Explorer1. Not too bad. Except Edwin, all the Classic class Legendaries already cost 7 or more.
2. Also not bad. You'll want some standout examples in every rarity.
3. Oh god no. I can't imagine anyone still in the competition voting for this one.
4. Can we get some examples for this? I'm guessing something like Fandral or Tunnel Trogg would work? We don't have anything like this in a Classic now.
5. I don't really like this one, but it's not hard. Just kinda... bleh.
6. Can the card just have Random in its name? This could be tougher for some classes that intend to have more or no random effects.
I'll probably vote for 1, 2, and 4 depending on how 4 works. And now we wait for Saturday... :(

Ooh, that third challenge will probably be a pain... Not sure what I'm voting on yet but probably not that. Though, I was already kinda doing that anyway...
If only that counted... Oh well, I'm in too much of a cheery mood to worry about gathering up Deathwing art, so again, just gonna wish you all good luck!

Card Design ChampionWow, the current iteration of my classic set satisfies all the challenges. Yes, even Deathwingman (remember "Eat Alive"?).
By order of preference, it's #2 > #4 > #3 > #6 > #1 > #5.

Card Design ChampionSo my classic set passes pretty much all of the challenges. Just need to add deathwing art and random into one of the cards if those challenges get picked. Here's a look at my classic cards if anyone's interested!
Class reminder:
The Scribe
New Keyword: Tome
These show up like a secret but visible to both players. They are buffs that will cancel under a certain condition. Makes deck building really interesting especially the more you try to have active at once. There are no tomes in the basic set however but I have many to show off in classic!
