I hate to make you backtrack...one question that I’m afraid you may have already answered, regarding the servants of the old gods. I know all the old gods have their own prisons and servants, you elaborated on c’thun in silithus ruling the silthid, i know there were klaxxi in pandaria and I assume was was a front for some old god business.
But northrend is confusing and yogg seems to be tied to many races, his prison of ulduar was populated by all these ‘OG dwarves’ (earthen? Iron dwarves? I don’t even remember). Dwarves are typically affiliated w the titans, the enemies of old gods. They also had vrykul who are typically associated with the lich king (although I guess some of them in the water plane served neptulon, neptulon is water and the elements such as ragnaros like the old golds right?)
Did yogg really control all these guys AND the faceless?

The titan facility known as Ulduar was built around Yogg-Saron to keep him trapped. The titans created the Forge of Wills in Ulduar to create Earthen (ancestors of the dwarves). Yogg managed to corrupt the forge and all new Earthen received the Curse of Flesh, causing their metal skin to turn to flesh, making them more susceptible to Yogg's mind controlling powers. The vrykul in Ulduar are vrykul that pledged themselves to the Twilight's Hammer, a cult dedicated to breaking the Old Gods free of their prisons. The Faceless are the manifestations of Yogg. Faceless spawned from the body of Yogg-Saron. If you've ever run through Ulduar, you would find yourself fighting a large amount of Titan Keepers. These keepers were given their powers by the titans and were created to protect the world. Yogg managed to trick their minds and make them fight adventurers but they managed to defeat the keepers in battle and reveal the truth.

In the World of Warcraft expansion Legion, many artifacts were added into the game. The most well known of these were the class artifact weapons (Ashbringer among them) but there was another one, a fishing artifact. Is is known as the Underlight Angler. It is a horrendously long grind to get but once you do, it is 100% worth it. Not much is known about the Angler except for an old sea log found all the way back in Panda Land (Pandaria). The captain of the ship had a mysterious benefactor and was "looking for a relic" . His ship had crashed in Pandaria but he managed to find a new ship and a new crew and made his way to the Broken Isles. It is not known who his benefactor is nor how he knew of the artifact or if he is still alive. So many unanswered questions...
Fun fact: The Old Gods were inspired by the Cthulu Mythos, created by H.P. Lovecraft in his stories, mainly The Call of Cthulu. The stories are about the Great Old Ones (Old Gods) and the Outer Gods (Titans) and how humans truly have nothing they can do when it comes to immensely powerful, cosmic forces such as them.
Good stuff. For some reason i always read the thread title as"The Lone Corner", probably cause of "The Loner" class in the CCC that is running right now, hehe. Anyway, cool lore bids, i enjoy reading them ;-)

The druids of Azeroth make their home in a small area in Kalimdor known as the Moonglade and it is where adventurers can access the Druid class order hall. Moonglade is not for questing purposes, it's more of a thematic zone than anything. The only time non Druids enter Moonglade is during the Lunar Festival (the WoW version of the Chinese New Year).
If the Legion is to be trusted, Azeroth is the last remaining planet with a Titan living in it and when it awakens it will be the strongest Titan ever. That is why the Void and the Legion are so intent on controlling Azeroth and destroying or corrupting the World Soul respectively. The only person who can speak directly to the World Soul is Magni Bronzebeard, the King Of Diamonds.
On Azeroth, the Elements are controlled by the Elemental Lords. On alternate reality Draenor, the Elements are controlled by the elemental furies in the Throne of the Elements. Unlike the elementals of Azeroth, the elementals on Draenor live together in peace. They understand that they have to work together to maintain the balance of the elements. Recently, the elemental fury of earth, Gordawg, was corrupted by the Void and defeated by adventurers. With time, the core of Gordawg will form a new elemental fury. Such is the cycle of the elementals...
The homeland of the goblins is the island of Kezan, near the Maelstrom. They lived relatively peaceful lives with many goblins constantly attempting to take the title of Trade Prince from Trade Prince Gallywix (Trade Prince meaning leader. Gallywix was the leader of the Bilgewater Cartel, one of the larger goblin cartels) until the Cataclysm came. Deathwing's presence caused an inactive volcano on the island to become active once more and begin destroying the island. The only way off of the island was a yacht owned by Gallywix who charged people their life savings to get on and forced them to be his slaves. The Undermine, the closest thing the goblins have to a capital, was located in Kezan and it is unknown what happened to it. It is believed to still be functional. Anyways, Gallywix's yacht was supposed to head to the zone of Azshara in northeastern Kalimdor but got lost and was accidentally attacked by an Alliance ship. They were stranded on the Lost Isles and, with the help of the Horde, managed to get themselves to Azshara. This is why the goblins are associated with the Horde but, for most goblins, the only loyalty they have is to gold. Whichever side gives them more gold is the side that the goblins will help.
Spirit walkers have always been an ever present people in the world of Azeroth. Spirit walkers have connections with both the physical world and the spirit world, communing with the spirits. They compromised of the Tauren race but, recently, the orc far seers have taken an interest in the practice of spirit walking. Also, with the recent traveling of the heroes of Azeroth to the Broken Isles, it was learned that the Highmountain Tauren also had spirit walkers in their ranks but they were a bit different from their Kalimdor Tauren friends. The spirit walkers in Kalimdor have white fur unlike the ones in Highmountain and like to keep to themselves. The Highmountain spirit walkers seem to be a bit more included in society. The spirit walkers also have a close link to the Emerald Dream, being able to step partially into it, converting to their "ethereal form". Only the most powerful of spirit walkers can give others ethereal forms.
Varimathras was a demon that served Sylvanas Windrunner and controlled a portion of the Undercity, the capital of the Forsaken. When the Alliance and Horde stood together to fight the Lich King at the Wrathgate, Varimathras sent one of his underlings, Grand Apothecary Putress, to assault both the Horde and Alliance, killing Bolvar Fordragon and Dranosh Saurfang. The Horde and Alliance eventually teamed up and reclaimed Undercity, killing Varimathras and his minions. Varimathras, being a demon, worked for the Burning Legion, and, as thus, worked for Sargeras the Demon Lord. When Varimathras failed to take Undercity, Sargeras sent him to a group of Shivarra known as the Coven of Shivarra, made up of Noura, Mother of Flames, Asara, Mother of Night, Diima, Mother of Gloom, and Thu'raya, Mother of the Cosmos. The coven have been ordered to torture both Varimathras and the souls of the titans (which Sargeras killed) in Antorus, the Burning Throne (where adventurers kill them along with Agrammar and the world soul of Argus)
Wrathion is the only black dragon in the world not tainted by the Old Gods. He was cured by the red dragon Rheastraza (who was killed by Deathwing for doing so). Wrathion would eventually escape from the Red Dragonshrine in Northrend and go to Pandaria. He would soon become close with Anduin Wrynn, the prince of the Alliance (he would eventually become the king).
The Lucid Nightmare is a mount available after collecting certain items, solving a few puzzles, and completing the Endless Halls maze (the maze by itself takes around 2 hours). It was a secret mount that was put into the game without notice. The WoW secrets Discord was (as usual) the place where the mount was exposed. The mount makes you visit Dalaran, Ulduar, Ahn'qiraj, the elemental plane of Deepholm, and more. As you can tell, it is very annoying to get.

I haven't been playing WoW in a couple of months but i remember some content from legion. So all zone's in legion have a small story arc that is some what connected to the main story. In Highmountain there is a uncorrupted Black Dragon/ disguised as High mountain Tauren his name is Ebonhorn. I forgot most of the story details but the black dragon flight had a nest there once and he was part of uniting the Taurens in that zone. I have also seen him in pre-battle of Azeroth content/quest line to get the Tauren Clan to join my great Horde!.

King Varian Wrynn of Stormwind was killed on the Broken Shore during the original assault of both the factions on the Broken Isles. A massive fel reaver appeared and grabbed the ship Varian and Genn Greymane (leader of the Worgen) were on, pulling it down. Varian jumped off the ship and plunged his sword into the fel reavers head, killing it. He was then attacked by dozens of demons and was eventually killed by Gul'dan and his fel magic. Anduin Wrynn would then become leader of the Alliance and would transform his father's weapon into something more suited for a priest. Instead of using raw strength as it's power source, the sword was now aided by the Light.
The orcs arrived on Azeroth from the planet Draenor (which was soon to be known as Outland due to the devastation caused by Ner'zul, the person who would soon mold Arthas into The Lich King) through the Dark Portal, powered by the last guardian Medivh (who was being controlled by Sargeras, the demon lord). This led to the First War. Garona Halforcen, an orc allied with Stormwind, is mind controlled by Cho'gall into killing the king of stormwind, King Llane. Without his commands, Stormwind would eventually fall to the Horde and the Humans had to sail to the northern kingdom of Lordaeron. The warchief of the orcs at the time, Rend Blackhand, was killed by Ogrim Doomhammer for the dishonor he and Gul'dan brought to the orcs.
