Allow me to introduce you Deathwing's new metal crafter

The Weaponsmith

The idea of the class actually came while working on a card for another class. I ultimately abandoned it because it was another engineer. The weaponsmith is a class that is all about weapons, not only for your hero, but also for your minions. Be them blades, hammers, firearms or grenades, the weaponsmith doesn't shy from anything to win the battle. He might even have a few secrets under the anvil, if you know what i mean. Active is as much a defensive mechanic, as it is an offensive one. It prevents minions from attacking you lest they want to be damaged themselves. (No, the weapons do NOT lose durability when a minion attacks an Active one)

The hero power and its token:

The hero power is quite simple, comparable to the rogue one. It's obviously not as versatile, but it really helps keep those pesky worgens off your scales.

The Alchemist

This is an ancient group of magic users that harness the base elements to supply themselves and their allies with power.  They are always trying to improve on what is  around in nature and bend it to their will and design.

Alareen Emberband was there when everything came down, she was there when the Sunwell fell this drove her with her new Blood Elf brethren to find and neutralize magic. Her way of doing this was harness the very elements that were being called to conjure spells and disrupt them to her own design.

The Hero Power Elemental Guidance will put 1 of 4 element spells into your hand.  You cannot receive a duplicate spell of one that you already have in your hand.  These spells are slightly underpowered for the 3 mana that they cost, but they work together to continually give you more and better options to work with.

The 4 advanced elements will be released in a later post I was trying to keep number of cards down.

The Cards:

The idea for the class is really built around the ability to make smaller utility minions into bigger threats and also incremental gain with spells that have meld to make them hit harder or have more utility. The class works very well with spell power as it increases some of their hero power as well as the more offensive spells in the arsenal.

The Sapper

Graduated top of her class at Area 52's B.O.O.M.U. (Go Bots!). Recipient of the prestigious Blastfizzle Award for Sapping Excellence. And now, unemployed (it's a tough job market everywhere).  Befriending Deathwing wasn't on the initial gameplan, but it's at least better than temping.

Moving on to the cards, let's introduce this class's keyword: Scourge!

As you can see, Scourge is a keyword in the same vein as Spare Parts, representing a specialized set of uncollectable spells that hinder the caster or help the caster’s opponent. Unlike Spare Parts you're not going to want to have these in your hand, as we can see from taking a look at the four different Scourges that maybe put into your opponent's hand with The Sapper's Hero Power:

These four represent the Basic Scourges of the Sapper class, much like the totems summoned by the Shaman Hero Power are Basic Totems. Other minions and spells in the Sapper class can add Scourges to your opponent's hand, or sometimes your own as an additional cost.  More advanced Scourges will also be introduced, like cards which force your opponent to destroy their own minions or have different in-hand punishments instead of increasing Costs. The power of the Basic Scourges are balanced by the simple fact that you can't control when your opponent will decide to play them.

The Sample Cards

In order of Set Release:

Lock Down (Basic) - For a Sapper, the best battle is the one that you never have to fight. This is a synecdoche for the Sapper's spell based approach to minions on the battlefield, namely that it's one of their weak points.  The class won't have direct ways to deal damage to enemy minions, and destroy effects will be rare and conditional, forcing them to rely on friendly minions and Scourges for removal.  What they will have is more control based: Sap is a big inspiration (natch), but they will also have effects like Lock Down which attempt to render the enemy minion harmless through modifying how and whether they act.

Rixmix Boomwizzle (Classic) - The salutatorian under Gug, Rixmix didn't let school rivalry get in the way of messing with other's. Rixmix combines a decent body with an effect the Sapper loves. The class will feature many cards that key off of the opponent's big hand size, so having a way to both max them out but also clog them up does great double duty. It also indirectly burns a card from the opponent's deck, assisting in potential mill decks.

Mind Control Gas (Naxx) - Warning, a new Secret class approaching! While it makes complete sense for tricksy Rogues to have access to Secrets, I was a bit disappointed that we've now got two 2-Cost Secret classes.  The Sapper's Secrets will all cost (4), which I think opens up some new design space that can push beyond what we've seen before.  For instance, with Mind Control Gas you can turn any friendly minion into a Sylvanas Windrunner . I'm particularly pleased with my take on the Ice Block fatal damage negation Secret , but since it involves a new Hero portrait and weapon token it'd be against the rules for this round.

Support-o-Tron (Gv.G) - What self respecting goblin wouldn't take all the mechies she could grab on her way out of Area 52? Support-o-Tron is a good representation of how the Sapper will key off of the opponent's hand size to gain additional effects or powers. When the effect is a one-off the threshold is 6 or more cards in the opponent's hand, based off the nameless Goblin Sapper who inspired so many others.  Other cards will base their direct effects on how many cards are currently in hand, e.g. +1/+1 for each card your opponent holds or "Attack is equal to number of cards in your opponent's hand."  Mechs are also the tribe most closely affiliated with Sappers (akin to Dragons for Priests or Elementals for Mages), representing their biggest bruisers and heavies.  When in doubt, call on the Mechavalry!

Goblin Subterfuger (Mean Streets) - ( Gug Note: Yes, I know Subterfuger isn't a real word, but you try telling a Gadgetzaner that! ) In addition to futzing around with the opponent's hand the Sapper knows that if you want to win you have to disrupt their draws and deck as well. Subterfuger is probably one of the more out there effects, with the typical implementation being closer to Beneath the Grounds . Still, once the Sapper gets going the enemy should ideally start to worry about how much to trust their own deck.  Of course, the same principle can be reflected as a boon for the Sapper, and the class will feature cards that place tools in the deck for later use, and might even feature cards that tutor or destroy cards deliberately shuffled into decks.

New Class - The Muddler

Overview

One of the most annoying and irritating gnomes in Azeroth's history, the name "Millhouse Manastorm" strikes fear anger in any being that hears it. Even more so considering he is one of the most arrogant being of the universe. Desperate to put an end to being a major laughing stock, Millhouse decides to take his prowess in magic to new heights, manipulating his foes and destroying them with the click of a finger.

The Muddler is a class solely based on manipulation. Deck manipulation, hand manipulation, you know it. Your minions don't have the strongest of bodies. In fact, as the bard your main win condition is to take control of your opponent's deck, hand, and minions, so that they aren't able to take advantage of their powerful cards.

The Hero Power manipulates your opponent in a different way - through weakening your opponent's minions. I mean, you have mostly poorly-statted minions, why shouldn't your opponent get the same treatment? Using Mind Games you can make your opponent's minions pack less of a punch or just completely immobilise them alltogether. What's not to like?

A new Keyword is introduced for this class - Confuse :

To put it simply, Confuse is essentially a much weaker Polymorph effect, but it can swing in your favour. Should you confuse a minion, it will be transformed into a random minion, regardless of its tribe or stats. The same goes or spells - it just gets transformed. It does not have any class restrictions, so you could end up swapping a Barkskin for a Glacial Mysteries , or a [/card=gold]Fiery War Axe[/card] for The Runespear . You just don't know.

Here is an example card that takes advantage of the Confuse mechanic:

Indecisive Alchemist is an interesting card in the Kobolds and Catacombs set - it follows the theme of deck manipulation quite nicely. Essentially, you get insight into their deck and instead of the minion they draw, they get a random other minion. This could be a really nice card against combo decks like Quest Mage, but just in general it seems like a solid card. Even if you hit a 1-drop with this, you can still turn it into a crappy minion that they wouldn't want to draw, let alone even play.

Other Cards

Inner Will: A nice card draw effect, but it requires you to run low-cost cards. Either way, drawing one card is worth about 2 Mana, so this seems fairly balanced.

Shadow Elemental: Essentially a collectible Death's Grip that is a little bit slower. The 4/2 body isn't exactly terrible, and it's Deathrattle effect can swing the game in your favour, as well as bring the enemy closer to fatigue. Fits the theme of deck manipulation nicely.

Askra, the Clawed: Nothing special really, a nice Taunt body that shuffles your opponents deck. Could stop them from getting the topdeck they need. This is Legendary since the effect can be really strong combined with certain cards in the Un'Goro Set.

Millhouse, Stormbringer: Wow, this is a cool one. At (8) mana the Battlecry can do a lot or nothing at all, as your opponent's hand is pretty much completely changed. This forces your opponent to come up with a different game plan since they have different tools to play with - They may get some crappy cards, they may get some really good ones. It's more of a fun card than anything else. The Confuse Hero Power is what really shakes things up. Your minions can get a large or minor buff, with a large or minor downside. You can use it to power up your own minions, or possible finish your opponent's off. I really like this card, not because of it's viability, but because it fits the theme of the class- manipulation. You're messing with your opponent's hand, as well as the board. Super fun card in my opinion.

Conclusion

In a nutshell, my fine dragon Deathwing, you and the Muddler have a lot of things in common. You... erm... you...... are both fucking crazy! You both like to overwhelm your opponents, be it with fire or mind games. Long story short, you love to torture your victims, both mentally and physically. I hope you are impressed with Millhouse.

Because frankly, nobody else will take him and he won't leave me alone please help

The Tactician

The Tactician excels at containing his enemies’ attacks and restricting their actions.
As Sun Tzu said: “ To subdue the enemy without fighting is the acme of skill”.

Hero Power: Maneuver
	Maneuver can be used to turn any friendly minion into a defensive wall. Sentinels (Basis Set) are perfect targets for a Maneuver on turn 2, or later as they can be summoned via other cards. The Hero Power can also be used offensively to expose an enemy minion who hides behind a Taunt minion - Yes, The Black Knight . The Hero Power gives the Tactician a tool to prevent some damage for few Mana and use the rest for defeating his opponent.
New Keyword: Galvanize
	Winning battles always brings you closer to win the war. Dealing damage to the enemy Hero will Galvanize your troops, triggering special effects. This is doable several turns in a row considering the different tools the Tactician owns to damage enemy Heroes (Upcoming Basic & Classic Set). The Underground Speaker (Kobolds & Catacombs Set) can boosts your minions, Sentinels included, as soon as he, or any other source of damage hits the enemy Hero. The Tactician doesn’t have offensive minions, but can count on Spells and Galvanize effects to defeat his opponent within several turns.
Punishing Attackers
	If a player succeeds to bypass the walls of Sentinels and other Taunt minions to attack the Tactician, she should expect a Retaliation (Mean Streets of Gadgetzan Set). This spell is cheap and powerful, but not reliable against wide board of minions as the target is chosen randomly. As long as the Tactician doesn’t receive damage, he will be able to focus on dealing damage to the enemy Hero. Most of the Tactician direct damage effects focus on the enemy Hero rather than enemy minions (effective to activate Galvanize effects).
Autoactivated Secrets
	The Tactician can rely on powerful Secrets (4 Mana) to execute his plans. As Competitive Spirit , ALL Tactician’s Secrets activate at the beginning of his next turn. Therefor, the pressure is on his opponent to guess and prepare for what’s coming (AOE damage? Minion buff? Board Freezed ?). Some Secrets , like Mana Bait (one of the 4 Secrets from the Classic Set), can be traps: they punish greedy/predictable actions, like playing on curve. The Tactician doesn’t have any healing sources, but benefit from few cards that can generate Armor (Sentinels, Mana Bait )
Constraining the opponent
	Secrets can be quite effective, but don’t always prevent the opponent of doing what she wants. That’s why the Tactician also benefits from tools like Freezing Touch (Knights of the Frozen Throne Set) that immediately encourage or even constraint the opponent’s actions. Predictability is a key success to victory. Those “containing” tools allow the Tactician to gain time in order to execute his main strategy.

The Scribbler

The Scribble Sinci is the good-hearted creator of many beings, brought into this world through his drawings.

His many adventures has led him to the great Dragon Neltharion, and wishes currently stands to be bringing the dragon back from his madness, through the power of friendship!

But what led him to want to help Deathwing?

The story of the Ethreal Scribble Sinci.

The class builds on the idea of drawing cards. But for this particular class, it has a double meaning, in the sense of also directly scribbling something down on a piece of paper.

The right-most card was taken over the left-most card for the simple reason that it's easier to change your right-most card compared to the left-most card. It would also be a hinderance for a combo deck. As you wouldn't be able to keep one of your combo pieces in your hand for very long.

Example cards

Basic set	Classic set	Journey to Un'goro

Illustrated Illustrator: A decently statted minion, that tutors for specific cards. You can use him in several different ways, including only adding a few specific draws cards to your deck, or just using him in a deck that focuses on drawing, or utilizes Print.

Great Teacher Su'sum: Sinci's very own teacher. The class in general draws quite a bit more than most other classes, which would be a huge disadvantage in a fatique game. This helps negate some of that, although it ain't no Dead Man's Hand.

Give It Wings!: Just as Paladin have Blessings and Seals, then the Scribble class have a set of buff cards that follow a name trend. With the different buffs you could change your minions apperance and attitude, and they're usually bound to a card draw.

Mean Streets of Gadgetzan	Kobolds and Katacombs

Print-o-matic: The keyword used in it's simplest alternation. It's a strong 1 drop, that snowballs if your opponent doesn't deal with it, although not as threating as the infamous Tunnel Trogg .

Paper Giant: By far the cutest of the giants. It's pretty much unplayable in the first 4-6 turns, but adds some massive tempo plays, if you plan on going to the lategame.

The warrior Angels

Angels like to heal their companions, but they will not hesitate if they have to fight. This class is a combination of hope, strength and some heal :D This is my first post, i wish to do this nice. Besides angels, there are blessings and divine minions too. All for help to control the board, or to give an excelent offensive. Hope , the hero power can give some balanced survivality to your minions.

Avenger is the keyword of this class, it means: "Do something when a friendly minion and at least one enemy minion died this turn". For example, if I trade my Leper Gnome with the enemy Patches the Pirate , Avenger is activated. It can gives aggresive or deffensive effects.

Motivated soldier is a aggro card that depends of a turn 1, perfect for aggro decks, and a good example of a common from the class.

Pure elemental is the Un'goro card, you can trade it for destroy some deathrattle minion and for easily activate the keyword Avenger, for slow decks.

Fallen angel is the Knights of the frozen throne card, it gives a interesting Avenger effect, and i think that 3 attack is enough for give a good impact, can be used in midrange or control decks.

Triumphal return is a good card that gives a excelent impact alone, it doesn't depend of other cards but pray for a good minion is summoned.

Alaia, captain of the guard is a brutal card for a control deck like finisher if you can play some minions before summon it, but the other effect is perfect for give a surprise with two legendaries at random, reinforcements arrived!!!

The Arcanist class

Introducing First Arcanist Thalyssra

“ I would rather die a nightborne than live a single day as a Legion slave. ” (More on Lore HERE )

The Arcanist is a master of the Arcane, being able to store it in the form of Mana Crystals to later unleash it's power. It's a class capable of high tempo plays and powerful combos. Being able to store Mana for next turn to cheat out an expensive minion or spell can often change the tide of battle. She's very versatile and full of surprises.

The Hero Power is basically a delayed coin. You only get the extra Mana for your next turn. Multiple effects can stack and you can gain more than 10 Mana Crystals in a turn using your Hero Power. A lot of class minions work with and of these effects:

Ley Walker is a simple example of a basic Arcanist minion. Virtually a 3/3 for 2 Mana but you can only play it in certain situations. You can only refresh Mana Crystals if they are emptied.

Mana Fiend is another great example of how Arcanist works. Gaining Mana Crystals (even temporary ones) feeds him and makes him grow bigger. Both permanent and temporary ones (like the one from your hero power or the coin) work.

Sleeping is a new keyword introduced with the Arcanist class. It is basically the opposite of Charge . Minions that are summoned and can't attack on the turn they were played are Sleeping. There is even a nice ingame effect to indicate that. This isn't a very complex keyword but some cards like the Ley Walker work very well with it.

Mark of the Nightfallen and Drowsy Guardian demonstrate the use of the keyword. They can both be very powerful with the right set-up but are mediocre on their own.

Elemental Lich

Commander of the dead, the Lich mastered his control over the Undead. While not being his specialty, he still have control over the elements such as Fire and Ice. His army consist of average minion which can be powered with his own power. Even though he has access to several elements, they are also weak in their base form and heavily rely on spell damage .

Herald is pretty straight forward as it already exist in the game with card such as Flame Leviathan but was left unused. In this class it's used in a way you want to return cards in your deck for a constant use of the effect.

Shift acts like Battlecry . When you play a card, you are prompted a window whether or not you want to spend extra Mana Crystals to alter/buff the card played. For example, Shift (1) would mean you can choose to spend 1 extra Mana Crystal. Can only be applied once.

Hopefully you like my custom class. There's a lot more to be seen with different ideas that compliments the class. Good luck to everyone, there's a lot of good classes/ideas out there.

The Archaeologist

Gelena is all about adventure and shiny things. What she lacks in intelligence, she makes up for with bravery and optimism!  So what if she just broke the seal unleashing an ancient evil upon the world? That kinda stuff is common in Azeroth! It  will sort it's self out by tea time.

Gelena's whole focus is digging to the bottom of her deck as fast as possible to find the answers she needs. I understand having a class based around card draw is a dangerous design choice. So I have to key rules in mind for this class.

1: This is at it's core, a defensive class, focusing on surviving and winning with late game value and combos. Every card I make will attempt to deter aggro

2: I am going to avoid giving this class hard removal. Having a class with this much draw and strong removal options would be no fun to play against.

So what is going to encourage players to draw through their deck like madmen? That is where her new keyword comes into play.

And to verify, the bonus occurs when the card is played, not when the card is drawn. These cards will help Gelena win the value game against her opponent when both players trying to outdraw each other.

Introducing the Aethermancer.

What is an Aethermancer you might ask? Good question. The Ethereals of the cosmos are beings of pure energy that have formed a society relying upon spatial manipulation, technology, and mercantilism. Aethermancers are a specialized class of magical warriors comprised of Ethereals and their allies that use their magic and technology to manipulate and control the battle-field. As a result they have begun to become one with the Nether itself, occasionally fading in and out of existence.

Promeriuum is the proud leader of this elite order. Under his guidance the Aethermancers under his control utilize a variety of spells, attacks, and allies to help them in their battles. Below are some examples of their techniques.

Nexus Portal follows suit with the other portals of the One NIght In Karazahn expansion. By providing one of your minions a beneficial effect an ally slips through the nether beside them to help them out in battle.

Aether Striker is a fast, controlled burst of damage capable of being utilized to strike down an enemy hero or minion. The fade effect can also kick in, providing you with a force twice lethal.

Ionic Blast is a simple, high cost damage spell card that like above can be used to focus down one particular enemy.

What good is all this magic and technology if you can't shield you or your allies from it? That's where Spatial Wyrm comes into play. It provides your other minions the 'Elusive' effect, shielding them from targeted spells as long as the card remains on the field of play.

Phase-Shift is a powerful AOE card. If one uses the battle-field intelligently to their advantage a great outcome awaits. Fail to do so and it comes with a great cost and leaves you at a disadvantage.

The Barbarian

The Barbarian class is about doing indirect damage and unexpected attacks. My new keyword Bleed shows this pretty well.

Examples of how Bleed would be used on cards:

Wild Debros : (part of Un'Goro ) Shows how a minion could use the effect. Due to the Bleed effect guaranteeing at least 1 more damage extra from the attack and a lot more potential damage if not stopped by your enemy, it's actually quite balansed in it's stats.

Primal ritual : (part of Old Gods ) Shows the type of boardclears the Barbarian would use. Damage to all minions on the fields, just not killing them immediately.

As the Barbarian also uses indirect attacks it'll have a lot of Stealth synnergies. Examples of such synnergies:

Strike from the shadows : (part of the standard / Basic set) This card show how hard removal would look like. Needing a stelthed minion on the field to destroy an enemy minion further shows the connection to unpredictable attacks. The card is balanced as a cheap stealth minion would cost 1-3 mana and that +3 is the cost of destroying an enemy minion.

The element of surprise : (part of Gadgetzan ) This card is part of a possible wincondition. I don't really think I have to explain how.

The Shifter Class

The Hero Power

The Keyword

Don't take the keyword Changeling lightly. A minion with Changeling is simultaneously a Beast, Demon, Dragon, Elemental, Mech, Murloc, and Pirate. There are hundreds of cards in Hearthstone that could possibly synergize with every Changeling minion.

Shifters morph their minions into different shapes and forms. They often create tokens, so I couldn't show multiple of my core cards in this stage. In the meantime, here are some shifty minions.

The Shifter is a class that can have aggressive, midrange, and control decks. Many of its aggressive and midrange decks will be decks that use lots of tribal neutrals to synergize with Changeling cards.

New Class: Astrologian

TL: DR Version:

Astrologian is a defensive class that excels in finding out what their opponent up to, manipulate with all cards in hands and decks. Their game plan is usually long and thoughtful, often involving fatigue and combos. Near the end of the game, you usually know the exact order of your remaining deck!

Acolyte of Clarity is the best example to showcase the keywords.

The obvious keyword is Enhance, which is pretty straightforward. If I used my hero power before I Summon (not play) Acolyte of Clarity, this minion gains taunt .

"Reveal", "Revealed" and "Unrevealed" is an elaboration of existing mechanic, but I don't consider them as a keyword, just like heal is not a keyword itself. Here is a quick reference to what considered as "Revealed Card"

Aquarius shows Astrologian's unique way to draw.

Royal Road shows how Astrologain interacts with their own deck. There will be more cards interact with the bottom of your deck, such as draw from the bottom of your deck.

Celestial Portal shows how Astrologain interacts with opponent's revealed card.

Ifrit, Lord of the Inferno represents Astrologian's late game and combo game plan. They can also make an otherwise risky play because they know what cards their opponent is holding.

The Soulweaver

The Class: Soulweavers (From the flash game Dragonfable) are known for their bond with their soul allies, whom they fight alongside. To capture that, the hero power both benefits the hero Tomix and his minions. To build on this idea, the keyword Soul Bound was created:

Soul Bound is simple: You buff your minions health, and your hero is buffed alongside them so that he can fight as well. Soulweavers don't leave their minions to do the fighting by themselves.

We have also designed some cards to showcase the Soul Bound keyword potential:

Greedling is soulweaver's version of Mana Wyrm or [Northshire Cleric[/card]. Just a simple 1/3 with the class keyword. As it's a servant of the spirit of greed, it embodies that through its deathrattle (which also links it to frozen throne). The Ancient Soul Claw is found in Un-Goro, and buffs all your minions, triggering Soul Bound to make your hero more potent.

Pandora is Tomix's primary soul ally. The spirit of misfortune and bad luck, she brings that bad luck to your enemies, while her gentle motherly side assists your own minions, triggering any Soul Bound minions already on the board.

The Soulthread Vials (helpfully bottled up by the Kabal) are a simple early game removal that still follows the general idea of the class, sapping the enemy minions to allow your hero to attack. The Soul Vacuum rips out your opponents soul and damages it, stalling them and giving you time to build up a more powerful turn.

The Paragon Class

" The Alliance. The Horde. Two equally useless sides fighting over insignificant goals. I suspect you don't see it that way. Your war could last a thousand years and it would be but a small river feeding into the ocean of the Klaxxi's plans. Their will is to preserve the cycle.
The will of the Klaxxi is eternal."

The Paragons are the most talented of the Klaxxi that were preserved in amber to be awakened when the empire would need correcting. The most powerful of the Paragons, Korven, has decided to visit the Tavern and play a game of Hearthstone.

Now, of course, Korven has a trick up his sleeve. He has the ability to preserve his allies in amber and protect them from damage. What kind of and evil, wold ending dragon wouldn't want that?

He has powers of his own as well!

Without further ado, please welcome Korven the Prime!

Over the years, even commanding Amber Scorpions has become basic for him... He has fought along side the most ancient of monstrocities...

He has boogied harder than anyone before him in ancient towers...

He has commanded the fiery fury of amber in the testing grounds of the false gods...

And still kept his purpose...

After all he has been through, he has learnt that he is the only one he can trust. He does not care if he has to defeat old friend such as Xaril, Poisoned Mind or Klaxxi Amberweaver . They are only standing in the way of his ascension. He has decided to make a new friend...

Korven recently encountered Rik'hal in a dungeon controlled by Kobolds and decided that he could be useful. He could fix the small issue Deathwing is having with IETT (Internal/External Tentacle Thingies) by dissecting them out of his body.
