There's nothing really THAT special or thematic about this set! Just some card ideas I had but never found a place in previous sets and somehow managed to fit the theme! In-game, it could work as something like....a special pack only obtainable by completing quests? But I did at least try to be creative! Anyway, away!
So...let's start with the Horseless Headsman. How fucking useless is he? About the same as Millhouse Manastorm! But you know what? Plenty of badass creative decks have come out with a use for poor little Millhouse, so I'm sure there's something in it for this guy too! I mean, even if there's a 50% chance of backfiring...a 4/4 Charge for 2 mana isn't bad! Maybe there's a way to Silence that pesky second part of his ability...?
Night Elf Mohawk is a pretty tactical card - you can only play him if there's at least one enemy minion. A 7/7 for 5 is amazing of course, and while his ability MAY seem like one hell of a drawback, you can still make something useful out of it. Like turning a Ragnaros into an effectless 7/7. Or just getting rid of a pesky effect or Deathrattle in general. He's got uses!
Squashinglinghead is probably the most difficult card I designed ever. It's extremely powerful, but requires some mad math and statistical analysis skills to play effectively. While its initial effect is mad useful for clearing your opponent's board, keep in mind that mathematically, the more Squashlings you give to your opponent, the more likely the last one standing will hit you in the face with 10 damage. This seems like a good card to keep around in a Token Paladin deck, IF you want to make use of the 10 damage effect.
Sweet Trick or Treater! There's one use for that confused Headsman... To explain, she will NOT Silence Battlecries since her effect hits AFTER they come into play. She will however take care of just about anything else.
Why would a Paladin keep a card around that destroys all 1-cost minions? In case your board is full of useless Recruits! Or if you're fighting a 1-cost Huntard. Or if someone summoned a bunch of Volatile Squashlings. NOTE: This card will NOT trigger the 10 Damage if there are more than 1, since a SINGLE Squashling is required to hit that one.
Civil Festivities is such a Priest card. For starters, its effect is totally unique for a spell - it works when drawn, not when played. And in the traditional of Priests, it serves to buy you time. NOTE: The effect only works when the card is DRAWN, not placed or added to your hand or Discovered. NOTE 2: Playing it does nothing. Obviously. Unless you have Lyra the Sunshard!
I like the Feline Familiar. Free Ice Block for every class! :3

So if I understand correctly, once Civil Festivities is drawn, it becomes a dead card in your hand? Or am I missing something here ... Other than that, I liked the flavor and the creativity behind that mini set. As WW release is comming, I was craving to see more spooks themed cards : you did not let me down
