We all have our ups and downs as card creators. Sometimes when I'm making cards, certain interactions with other cards completely slip past my mind. Has anyone else made a card just to realize later that it's hilariously bad or completely broken? I've found some of my earlier creations results to be quite humorous. Also, sometimes it's just fun to create OP cards.
I originally designed this card for decks that play minions for their deathrattle and battlecry effects rather than their body. (Hadronox, Arfus, Twilight Summoner, Aya Blackpaw, etc.)
-ShadowHealer: Binding Heal/Flash Heal ---> 1 mana deal 5 damage. Priest of the feast, Holy fire deal 10 dmg!! Greater Healing potion *_*
Otk available: with just thaurison your minion anytime, when all cards are assembled ---> 2 mana minion, binding heal x2, flash heal x2, greater healing potion. Alot to be done with priest of the feast, Otk here as well but alot of cards required: Shadow healer, Priest of the feast ---> Binding heal x2 (16 dmg) 2x circle of healing (6dmg) 2x silence (6dmg) any 1/0 mana spell, But yea thats not happening Tbh love the card for the gimmicks!
-Hoarding welp, Could see play in mage quest (too slow perhaps cuz doesnt help in drawing). Maybe make lillian voss a little better ehhh??
Merrow: yea wtf?? broken as hell, with cards like Dr.7, Sylvannas, Rag, Alex, lich, ysera, y'shaarj, antonidas (the list goes on). Make blood of the ancient work?? O.O
I haven't made any hs cards but use make yugioh cards back when i was actually quite young infact. Made completely over the top ridiculous cards!! Actually later tried making cards that were decent, those days yugioh didn't have any good online game so we would design them and print them and play!! Ahh the good ol'days! Every now and then we would find a broken interaction and exploit it to hell and eventually fighting over the cards led to that card nvr seeing any play again.
hoarding welp would be fine if it's coin's were like gallywix coins, which would actually make it cool, although it needs to cost at least 5, so making it and gadgetzan was difficult in one turn. in terms of shadowhealer, it would not be broken if reno's text was actually what he did, or if they programmed the card a certain way. Basically if you could only deal the damage you healed with reno and the card was a legendary so you could not play two for easy otks, it might be somewhat balanced. It should cost a little more though. Merrow is just totally dumb, maybe if she copied the minions on your board into your hand with that effect it would be fine. And she has to cost more because you can't give insane effects on low mana cost at all.
I know you aren't asking for how to fix these, but I like the ideas and wish non-broken versions of these made it into the game, because you can balance most mechanics with a little effort and expanding the envelope of possible things would be cool..

You're right about Hoarding Whelp,
I see Blackguard as the fixed version of Shadowhealer. Hitting the enemy hero is too strong for any cost imo.
Merrow is almost impossible to fix. Making it only apply to one minion in your hand doesn't fix anything. Making it effect your opponent is just unfun. Increase the cost to (3) and made it give -1/-1 and reduce the Mana cost by (1) it would maybe be okay. It's just a weird card that probably shoudn't exist.
Basically when you play it, cards in your opponent's hand just becomes their cardback and they won't be able to tell what cards are in their hand by looking at them, forcing them to remember the cards in their hand and where exactly they are. Obviously, this wouldn't work very well though. This would be a nightmare for players who frequently visit other windows while they play.

I don't think this one needs any explanation.

Basically when you play it, cards in your opponent's hand just becomes their cardback and they won't be able to tell what cards are in their hand by looking at them, forcing them to remember the cards in their hand and where exactly they are. Obviously, this wouldn't work very well though. This would be a nightmare for players who frequently visit other windows while they play.
