Your card must contain at least 3 of the same number on the card
The number can be numeric (1, 2, 3 etc.) or alphabetic (one, two, three etc.)

Incase you say that my card diden't qualify. The creator of the theme said (a) counted as (one). The card costed 1, the name was One of a Kind, and one (a) makes three in total.
How am i soppused to know it's not allowed to use (a), if the creator says so. And furthermore anywhere on the card also includes the name.
I diden't even get a notice. Nor an action that tells me the card does not fit the theme, like several other cards did.
This week's theme was interesting and many ppl went a little bit overboard (myself included :D), anyway CG to all the finalists!
Rain of Fire (4/5): Looks like a very solid card for discardlock, it could become a bit of a problem in some situations and generate an insane value, but i suppose in an average scenario, this card looks reasonable.
Egg-splosion (1/5): I dont like this card for so many reasons :p But hey, get a point for good meme :)
Free the Trees (4/5): I like this card a lot, good design, tho it might be a bit too much value for a token druid.
Born from Blood (3/5): I feel like this card isnt so much a ping as it is a combo card, could definitely give u some crazy minions for cheaps, not sure i like that very much.
Sacred Texts (3/5): This card is pretty cool and has nice flavor goin for it, tho i feel like its pretty weak, in most cases it will be just +1/+1 for one minion im afraid. I suppose it wouldnt be too hard to make it at least a +2/+2 rather consistently, if u made the effort during deck building, but i feel like thats the best u would get most of the time. Overall it doesnt seem like its worth a card slot. Cool card nevertheless.
Minimal Infestation (1/5): One point for the meme :p Obviously not balanced (guess thats the point lol :p).
Ancient Knowledge (2/5): I rly want to like this card, but pretty much any card u get from it is broken AF, even with the (1) cost increase.
Corpse Explosion (4/5): Feels like it should be at 4-cost, other than that looks fine.
Starsurge (4/5): I liked this card when i first saw it, seems rly cool, tho again, might be a bit too OP for any kind of aggro/token druid, since they r guaranteed to get 7 face dmg from hand on T7 and plan for that.

Apologies on my part, I've been busy with IRL stuff for the past couple weeks and haven't been able to keep up with notifying people that their cards don't qualify.
Although I personally dislike counting 'a', I would have allowed it having seen the creator's wishes. The name, however, definitely wouldn't count, and I should have made that clear in the rules (I thought I had, must have used an earlier revision by accident). If names counted, you could very easily make almost any card you wanted to count count, whether by cheesing it completely and using something like '3 Three 3' or by theming your card in a certain way - eg. A Paladin Secret called 'One For All, All For One' can have any effect you want, and still be thematically fine, but it's very much outwith the spirit of the competition.
Again, this is a personal failing on my part for not keeping up with notifying people properly, and for not outlining that Card Names would not count.
I'd love to hear feedback on my theme. I thought the theme might be good because Blizzard likes to print cards with consistency built into them. I have a feeling the restriction was perhaps a bit harsh in hindsight.
As for the cards I voted for Rain of Fire and Starsurge. Rain of Fire because I'm trying desperatly to make discard lock work. Starsurge because I like the potential gameplay decisions. Eg. Do I try to fit in a wild growth on turn 6? Nourish for mana instead of cards?
@DatboiEow I think your card should have counted as the rules were given. However using 'One' in the title was against my original intent for the theme. The theme was designed to give creators a mechanical restriction, not aesthetic.
I was thinking about Starsurge, and wouldn't it let you draw both of them at once if you had two in your deck? Seems a little strong to get two free draws, even if you have to wait <= 6 turns.
Due to late warning, One of a Kind should have been qualified. There isn't anything about it in competition rules so it feels really unfair.
No, the rules should be followed. It's not fair to every single other person if someone doesn't follow them and gets to squeeze by because they didn't have "fair" warning. It's your responsibility to follow the rules; it's not the mods responsibility to police every aspect of every card all the time and give you an immediate response when you break a rule. If you want to be sure you won't be disqualified, then take the initiative and PM a mod before submitting.

It doesn't matter if it wasn't clear, or if the mods thought it was obvious you couldn't do this and so left that particular part out. The previous winner and the mods created a set of rules that they described to us. If they did that imperfectly, the fair thing is not to let things through that basically break the competition, it's to disqualify cards even if the owners were personally given no warning. Putting the numbers in the title is the kind of thing you should ask the mods about beforehand. If it seems like you found a loophole in the rules, chances are you're going to get disqualified. If there could be any doubt that you might get disqualified, it's your responsibility to ask for a rules clarification, not the mods responsibility to clarify the rules to every single person. There are three mods and hundreds of contestants. It's that guy's fault for not asking for a rule clarification.
The rules which were written down were as follows:
Your card must be a spell
Your card must contain at least 3 of the same number on the card
The number can be numeric (1, 2, 3 etc.) or alphabetic (one, two, three etc.)
From the above, I think it's completely reasonable for someone to assume that numbers in the cards title are allowed. It's pretty clear; The rules do not specify in anyway where the numbers can occur. If I had my time again, I might have banned numbers in the title but it simply didn't occur to me. But that's beside the point. The card was valid.

The card isn't valid. ShadowsOfSense has told us what he intended by the rules. If you didn't consider the case of numbers in the title, but ShadowsOfSense did, and you didn't bring it up, then it's disallowed by the rules. He's the mod. Anyway, the rules should never be set in stone on a 'everything that isn't specifically banned is ok' basis. That's a terrible way to run a competition.

But that also creates kinda a "if i don't like it, then it isn 't allowed policy". Next time a card could be banned, because someone find it broken with another card. Banned because someone thinks it looks similar to another card. This could go on and on.
I was not sure if "a" were allowed, so i looked through the discussion, and found the creator to say it was allright. Great.
I then looked at my card. There is ABSOLUTLY, and i repeat ABSOLUTLY nothing that would indicate that it wasn't allowed. Unless you really, Really know the competition and the mindset of the mods, which i don't.
So tell me. How would i have known this was not allowed. Because you agree that it should not be? I'm not a mindreader, you know.
(But i guess you only agree with it because your card reached the finals, since my card was disallowed.)
I also want to point out that i am not mad a ShadowsofSense. If it was an honest mistake, or he simply did not have the time to tell me why it's wrong. I understand that.
But telling me that i should take into consideration what others think, makes me mad. I simply have to know a thing before i have ever experienced it before. That's not a great way to hold a competition.
I guess i will have to make my cards crystal clear in the future.
I think i will only vote for Starsurge. It's a really cool mechanic. I might also vote for Ultimate Infeastation for meme purposes.
I don't really get the hype for Rain of Fire. People would hate to play against this card if Discolock became viable. I mean. Look at every single other infinte Value or near infinte value card that have been viable so far.

My first ever wild card. I feel honored! Cheers to anyone that had anything to do with it :D
EDIT: Druid seems to take the cake on this theme. Five out of nine cards.

Whoever has made Free the Trees is stupid and should be ashamed of himself.

My Meme cards are suffering, since the plebs won't see them :/I want a new title, but Flux won't let me have one,
Rain of Fire!!! Normally I vote 2 or 3 cards, now only 1. Great concept very much needed for discardlock!!

Voted for Minimal Infestation, Egg-splosion and Starsurge, which used the same art as my card. Lathy it's your fault if I'm not in the finals!
