@ nobravery - That's very nice, and i like how it works well with mage in particular. I think the balance is reasonable as it's not always going to benefit and i think the correct gauge of high cost = possible advantage is Second-Rate Bruiser. well fashioned imo
Edit And, it's a deathrattle taunt for n'zoth... knew i was missing something it just took me a while to get there :D.
Yes I know, Meditate again, but this time it is way better in the late game and isn't that good in your mulligan.
The card contradicts with itself. It will be used in late game to recover health but when you lose a turn you will lose health again, your board presence and possibly the game. I know you are trying to make a skip a turn theme but it is a hugeee disadvantage. Think about it, mage has her own legendary just to get that condition.
Guys! I just found something amazing! (Everyone probably knows that and I'll turn out as an idiot but) when you click on the number beside the "upvote" button you can see who and when liked your (and others) comment!
it's not warlock card, just my old class card. what do you think?
First one -> too much random stuff going on. We don't need 0 mana 4/4s turn 1.
Second one -> RIP mobile players.
Mana Eater -> This card I can respect. It doesn't make much sense as it is flavor-wise. Could be made a 0 mana card that adds attack for each Mana Crystal left unspent by your opponent.
it's not warlock card, just my old class card. what do you think?
I don't know whether cards from custom class are allowed or not because we don't know any synergy except with Neutral cards and we don't know how the 'Spirit' tribe functions.
Shapeshifter Spirit: Too much randomness. This will lead to a lot of salt
Archtimer: It's kind of like saying that both players have 15 secs less each turn. I don't think it would see any play.
Mana Eater: This seems interesting. Everyone wants to utilize all their mana crystals, so this has decent chance of activation. I like to include these kind of 1-drops in my deck which do not hurt when we draw them late into the game(like Mana Wyrm, Tunnel trogg, Jeweled Macaw).
Out of these 3 cards, I like Mana Eater the most. But the name is kinda iconic, since it gains attack when there are no mana crystals left, so what does it eat? Or maybe, we can say that the mana crystals that we spent are ultimately consumed by him? Still, I think it's fine as it is, but a better name would be good.
thanks for both of you feedback, i planning on change it on non-custom class, maybe a neutral card, but i haven't decided yet. for shapeshifter spirit, i know this card full of random stuff, maybe because its made for my custom class that focus on late game and generating card so you can hold this card until it have a fair/good stats and cost. it seems not playable for now XD. I made archtimer after playing with player that wait till ropes and just use hero power, so i think this card can makes player think and play faster before ropes. like Nozdormu but in lower cost XD. (@therealmalfurion i think this more friendly for mobile player than Nozdormu, because its give you 15sec-less, but Nozdormu only give you 15sec). Mana eater, @therealmalfurion i want to make players use it's mana wisely because its makes mana eater stronger. so i think adding Attack for each mana that opponent spent last turn way better than add Attack by unspent mana. @arpitduelist you're right, maybe its name kinda confusing. i'll change it :D (most of card i made have random name, just to make sure i'm not forget about the idea that i have that time).
how about if i change it to "gain +1 attack for each mana that opponent spent last turn"? what do you guys think?? is it still balance if the effect stacks? or simply change it to "until the end of your turn"? or it just better on its current text?
@draquaza1470 It will probably be too strong even if it's "until the end of your turn". Sometimes, your opponent just does not have removal/a small minions to deal with this on turn 5 when it will be a 5/3. Maybe give it 2 Health or keep the current text.
is it good for neutral? or should i change it to class card?
using Radiant Elemental and Sorcerer's Apprentice as reverence, maybe can fit on egg druid. druid and hunter seems have good synergy with deathrattle on this expansion. what do you guys think?
how about if i change druid ones into "reduce minion cost by (1) less". since druid have big cost minion?
Mana Ghoul seems better flavor wise and Ghouls suits the KoFT theme. But there is a typo in the card text which I forgot to mention earlier. It should read "At the start of your turn, if your opponent's mana crystals are empty, gain +1 Attack."
Mana Wisp Nest: Has very good synergy with both Druid Archetypes - Token and Jade. Token decks would love to have a body which produces 3 more bodies and they can even make use of the Spell part by playing Buffs and Savage Roar. Also, pretty good in Jade Druid with Auctioneer. We might also se some Maly druid with this card and Prince Taldaram. Interesting card.
Mana Bug Nest: Three 1/1 Beasts are sure very important for Hunters but they don't have any spell synergy and Kindly Grandmother and even Rat Pack seems better.

Not a big fan of the cards but they seem VERYYY strong especially in arena. So maybe they should be rare. *Note* i think the best one is the Ghoul i love the art.
I like the mana nests. Forces your opponent to kill it and you still get a nice value.I Prefer the mana bug nest since druid hasn't got synergy with wisps even tho he could.
Personal favourite Mana Bug Nest because it has beast synergy and a neat combo potential for a OTK Hunter or even miracle
thanks for feedback, i change mana ghoul rarity and text. i change mana nests cost to 3, since its deathrattle worth 3/3 body. how about it?
There's no way I'm gonna review 20 pages of cards, so here's a review of cards for the last 10 pages (so from page 10 inclusive)
Cards I'd vote for:
Vicious Demoncaller by TheRealMalfurion (page 10). It is the kind of stull discardlock needs to be viable.
Portail to Nowhere by Cogito_ergo_sum (page 11)
Back-alley Bandit by kegstandgoldmedal (page 15)
One Man's Trash by Tox (page 18)
Chocolate Egg by Demoxz95 (page 18) - I feel dirty
Timewalker by nobravery (page 21) - Seems balanced to me
Cards I'd vote for with modifications:
Coward Goren by armpitduelist. Simple but effective, however the art needs to be recentered.
Kaja Cola by TrickyBeast - Make it cost (1)
Bubble-hearthing Pala by Lathy (page 14) - This is glorious. It perfectly encapsulates the principle of bubble-hearth. However gameplay-wise it is OP! I would give him divine shield make it cost 1 more for extra meme value (even if that means it won't go back in your hand immediately) but it's still good as it is.
Gathering Storm by TheProgenitor (page 15) - Would be better as a Rogue card (which implies to change the flavor!)
Plagiarism:
Sleepy Giant by Alex117 is identical (name excepted) to "Sleeping Giant" featured in the "Best of all time" gallery on hearthcards.net (end of third row, you can check yourself). I never accused anybody of plagiarism because I know people can have the same idea independently of each other, but here it is too blatant to be excusable.
Thanks @Vilegloom and @TheRealMalfurion for the review of my cards. I'll probably go with Earthquake but here are 2 more cards just to be sure:
Some feedback on cards submitted since I last checked the thread (apologies in advance if you’ve already submitted)
@mazugpeti (thanks for the feedback!)
Chillwind Totem– Your “safe” card, very very solid but not as much of a wow factor. Certainly fits within the new Frost Shaman Blizz seems to have introduced. Probably what I would ultimately submit if I were you.
Chromie – Definitely the more interesting of the two. Don’t know if I’m wild about stringing together infinite Chromies (right? If Chromie herself is the last card you played in a turn?) until you find a card you want to dupe?
@Ozymandias
Bladefist - Seems fair given that the minions have to be in your hand, and the penalty is pretty steep.
@The_Bird
Spellbound Armor – Seems kinda power-creepish to me. Am I missing something? Broken in Wild.
@Teknician
Paid Mercenary – If rogue can have 6-mana 9/9s, why not 4-mana 7/7s? As long as the 0-mana card is going from the rogue’s had to the opponent, I think it works.
@ThisOtherGuyTox
One Man’s Trash – I think I like this one more than the 6-mana version, flavor-wise at the very least. Ditch the period after “Thrice!”
Household Adventurer – Well, if I like my card, I sort of have to like this one. :)
@TheProgenitor
Heroic Blade – Simple, balanced, but doesn’t move the needle for me.
See Red – Based on the card text, I’d call it Ogre Vision, but then the art has to change. Decent card.
Laura Shortfuse – I like this one the most. It reminds of a more violent version of Arcanosmith.
Draw Blood – See Blade, Heroic.
Gathering Storm – I don’t like it. A poisonous storm sounds weird.
Animator – I think it’s pretty good! Might even be a little underpowered. 3/3 perhaps?
@CecilHoshino
Will of the Wisps – It’s OK, but probably needs more . . . Wisp support?
Nine-tailed Fox – This one I like a lot more. I think it’s on point.
@Joedarke7
Reckless Combatant – It’s OK. Aside from the name, it doesn’t quite feel like a Warrior card. Could be nasty in pirate warrior, which I don’t think too many people would be crazy about
@Demonxz95
Chocolate Egg – Needs to be called Noblegarden Egg, IMHO. Seems fair for the stats.
@superjunkie
BlingBomber – Great for memes, but I think that’s about it.
@MarbasVI
Fallen Abyssal – I don’t think it fits with previous abyssal, FWIW, and I don’t think it should be legendary. Card text is interesting, though, so maybe keep working on it?
Corrupted Peacekeeper – I know you need to get that 0 in there, but as I said upthread I don’t think changing the attack stat is the right way to do it. I suppose I like it better because it can hit friendly minions.
Primordial Sector – Too much of a deck attack, I think.
@Soulbattle
Meditate (draw 1) – I think it needs overload. Otherwise, it’s almost literally free draw, right?
Meditate (draw 3) – I’d stick with the draw 1.
Medidate (heal 18) – Maybe this is the best Meditate card. I’m just not wild about 0-mana card draw.
Silvermoon Defender – Better, I think it’s really well balanced. It works for me.
Frayed Mindthief – This one is my favorite, and it’s not particularly close. I think the effect is really interesting. Check your spelling and grammar, though – “thief,” “opponent’s,” etc.
Storm Caller – Also fine, I think. After Mindthief, though, I stopped really thinking too hard about this one.
@arpduelist
Mind Flay – I think it’s OK, considering how much you need to invest to activate the destroy effect
Tenacious Heal – My favorite, but check your spelling (“Tenacious”), and I think the wording of the text might be a bit off.
Let There Be Light and PW: Hope – As opposed to Mind Flay, I think these are too easy to activate. Coined 3/5 that draws a card on T1? Broooooken.
@draquaza1470
Mana Ghoul – For the card text, this is what I would choose. The card itself is alright, but it would be more interesting to me as a +2 attack class card.
Mana Wisp/Bug Nest – I think this fits much better in Druid, and why not give them the Mana Bug beast token, as well? They’re the other class with beast synergy.
@TrickyB3ast
Angelic Scythe – The name is very weird to me, but I do like the text. It’s a cool card. As others mentioned, it would feel better with 2 durability.
Wild Indeed – Personally, Standard allows Standard cards, full stop. It would be fun but I think it’s just goes against the game’s philosophy at this point.
Tidesea Powercaller – Kind of like an anti-Patches Murloc? Huh. I like it for the simple fact that it helps give Murlock some help.
Prehistoric Spikes – Seems incredibly slow. Most of the time Eaglehorn Bow is going to be straight up better.
Kaja Cola – I’d make it 1 mana, which isn’t useful for this competition.
@JuicyLemon
Forbidden Altar – Breaks the 5 lines of text soft rule, and I’m also just not wild about it in general.
@Hereharehere
Glacial Rupture – So, this is effectively Frost Nova (3), a superior Pint-Sized Potion (1), and a power-crept Leeroy Jenkins (5) in one card that costs (1) less. Even if you want to submit, it needs to cost at least (9).
Freezing Rain – It’s OK, but the art doesn’t really fit with shaman, and it also feels like you’re cheating in the 0.
@Pazzoloco
Garbage Collector – I prefer the 6-mana version at the very least. The 4-mana version makes curving into Vilespine and then Auctioneer absolutely disgusting.
Krosus – Just feels like a Jaraxxus knockoff to me, and I personally think the “if your deck has (0) cards” is cheating the 0 into the card.
@J1321759
Card Game – That . . . is a lot of draw. Way too much draw, I think.
@nobravery
Timewalker – I like it, except maybe making it a dragon from the Bronze Dragonflight fits better with WoW? My $0.02.
@LancelotXGuren
All In – No one would play this. Start a card short and have to play 6 specific cards all for a 50% chance to deal 10 hero damage? Plus a 50% clear your own board downside?
I liked Back-Alley Bandit the most. Miracle rogue can use it to make her late game card draw better. I am mostly concerned about quest rogue. Since it has stealth, it can be abused to get shadowsteps easily.
There's no way I'm gonna review 20 pages of cards, so here's a review of cards for the last 10 pages (so from page 10 inclusive)

Thanks @Vilegloom and @TheRealMalfurion for the review of my cards. I'll probably go with Earthquake but here are 2 more cards just to be sure:
I like both Hakkar and Earthquake. I probably like the later one a bit more since I love control Shaman, but Hakkar does offer a window for a combo finisher, even if a bit unstable.
Also, might I suggest (just for a bit more hearthstone flavour) make the debris a 0/3 Earth elemental? I know it's the remains left after an earthquake but it does include stone materials and makes it a little more interesting. Kinda like this:

And, here are my cards! Any feedback?
Thanks for the feedback and especially for pointing out the typo! Didn't notice that.
For your cards:
Pack Filler: One word: boring. But it might win the competition considering 9 mana 8/8 Nozdormu with no text won Nozdormu Rendition contest. Also despite being boring, it is essentially +1/+1 to any Beast when building a Zombeast.
Back-Alley Bandit: Seems balanced compared to Novice Engineer. Will be played in every Rogue deck. Has some stealth synergy as well. Can also be used to thin your deck if you just play this and Shadowstep!
Pay To Win: So, Rogues can consistently get Tirion. There's not a lot to say about this card. it's not that interesting.

Pack Filler isn't getting a lot of love, but I (perhaps stupidly) keep throwing it out there. I'm a sucker for the pun (sorry not sorry), but more importantly I think it's actually really useful! It lets you do all sorts of Hunter-y things on curve with no presence - Crackling Razormaw, Houndmaster, Kill Command, even Stampede and Dinomancy!

Pack Filler: nice "tinyfin" beast XD (not very exciting, but good indeed)
dat face, cant resist.. much filler wow very beast
Back-Alley Bandit : i like this one, draw 0-cost for combo or simply remove it for better topdeck.
Pay to Win : i'm not fan of this one, rogue doesn't pay.. they steal it! :D
I guess I'll go with this one. Still considering about balance though.
Great card. I like how it forces you to commit more into it to truly get rid of it. The N'Zoth, the Corruptor value would be insane if you could get it killed a couple of times. Balance-wise it seems good with a better reward than Second-Rate Bruiser in my opinion even though you always pay 5 Mana.
Pack Filler: One word: boring. But it might win the competition considering 9 mana 8/8 Nozdormu with no text won Nozdormu Rendition contest. Also despite being boring, it is essentially +1/+1 to any Beast when building a Zombeast.
Wait what?! :D I did that 8/8 Nozdormu for 9 with no text as a joke :D how did i not know it won ?:D i have to look that up :D
/edit: oh nvm, i "just" got to finals, didnt win :(( liar!!!
Thought this was a bit redundant but it has nice synergy with swap-stat minions, kodo, charge as well as the new weapon ice-pick and weapons in general. Could lead to decks without usual shaman removal tools.
I get what you're going for, but this is a strictly better Frost Nova for Freeze Mage. Sure you may intend this to be used differently, but to Freeze Mage this is an extra 2 better Frost Novas, since they don't care about the downside.
Edit: Oops my bad, nevermind, had my screen tilted a bit and didn't notice that its actually Shaman and not Mage.

Uhm ... its a shaman card :D Pretty broken one at that ...
Hope this works.
Doomsayer combo, perhaps?

Check out my entry for this week's Card Design Competition. Vote for it if you like it.
still can't decide..
Hi there..
Why did you changed the restrictions? Las time I checked this week's card was supposed to give a negative effect to the opponent.
There's no way I'm gonna review 20 pages of cards, so here's a review of cards for the last 10 pages (so from page 10 inclusive)
Cards I'd vote for:
Cards I'd vote for with modifications:
Custom cards :
CLASSES : Alchemist (CCC#5 | Phase V) | Chef (CCC#4)
EXPANSIONS : Year of the Scorpion (Year Comp)
Some feedback on cards submitted since I last checked the thread (apologies in advance if you’ve already submitted)
@mazugpeti (thanks for the feedback!)
@Ozymandias
Bladefist - Seems fair given that the minions have to be in your hand, and the penalty is pretty steep.
@The_Bird
Spellbound Armor – Seems kinda power-creepish to me. Am I missing something? Broken in Wild.
@Teknician
Paid Mercenary – If rogue can have 6-mana 9/9s, why not 4-mana 7/7s? As long as the 0-mana card is going from the rogue’s had to the opponent, I think it works.
@ThisOtherGuyTox
One Man’s Trash – I think I like this one more than the 6-mana version, flavor-wise at the very least. Ditch the period after “Thrice!”
Household Adventurer – Well, if I like my card, I sort of have to like this one. :)
@TheProgenitor
@CecilHoshino
Will of the Wisps – It’s OK, but probably needs more . . . Wisp support?
Nine-tailed Fox – This one I like a lot more. I think it’s on point.
@Joedarke7
Reckless Combatant – It’s OK. Aside from the name, it doesn’t quite feel like a Warrior card. Could be nasty in pirate warrior, which I don’t think too many people would be crazy about
@Demonxz95
Chocolate Egg – Needs to be called Noblegarden Egg, IMHO. Seems fair for the stats.
@superjunkie
BlingBomber – Great for memes, but I think that’s about it.
@MarbasVI
@Soulbattle
@arpduelist
Broooooken.
@draquaza1470
@TrickyB3ast
@JuicyLemon
Forbidden Altar – Breaks the 5 lines of text soft rule, and I’m also just not wild about it in general.
@Hereharehere
@Pazzoloco
@J1321759
Card Game – That . . . is a lot of draw. Way too much draw, I think.
@nobravery
Timewalker – I like it, except maybe making it a dragon from the Bronze Dragonflight fits better with WoW? My $0.02.
@LancelotXGuren
All In – No one would play this. Start a card short and have to play 6 specific cards all for a 50% chance to deal 10 hero damage? Plus a 50% clear your own board downside?
And, here are my cards! Any feedback?

Pack Filler isn't getting a lot of love, but I (perhaps stupidly) keep throwing it out there. I'm a sucker for the pun (sorry not sorry), but more importantly I think it's actually really useful! It lets you do all sorts of Hunter-y things on curve with no presence - Crackling Razormaw, Houndmaster, Kill Command, even Stampede and Dinomancy!
dat face, cant resist.. much filler wow very beast
Back-Alley Bandit : i like this one, draw 0-cost for combo or simply remove it for better topdeck.
Pay to Win : i'm not fan of this one, rogue doesn't pay.. they steal it! :D
