Greetings, Hearthpwn!
Like we've done before, due to the complexity of this competition we have split the final poll into two. The other half will go up in a couple days. Below are nine of the entries looking to advance. Their mechanics and example cards are shown, plus, if anything piques your interest, feel free to click on their titles to view their full set.
Of note, all of these cards were created before the recent KFT card announcements, so any similarities are purely coincidental.
The Destination is Draenor by ThisOtherGuyTox (post #2)
Arcane Art Assembly of Azeroth by nobravery (post #3)
Explanation of the Chair Millhouse mechanic
The role Chair Millhouse plays in this expansion is similar to that of C'Thun in WOG. The card is given to players for free, and if you want to build a deck around it, you need several other cards that refer to Chair Millhouse by name.
Secrets of Dalaran by Cogito_Ergo_Sum (post #11)
Mechanic Explanation
Enchant: When you play a card with Enchant, it will immediately give the next minion you DRAW (not summon nor play) a little bonus! Careful though! You may not draw the Enchanted card, so build your deck wisely!
Stabilize: Since Battlecries occur WHEN minions are played (not after), Battlecries will occur even if you can't pay the Stabilize cost! Note that Elementals with Stabilize will trigger "If you played an Elemental last turn" effects EVEN if you didn't pay the Stabilize cost because you technically did play the Elemental!
Stabilize is all about playing with your mana expenditure in order to get the optimial result! Sometimes you need to force yourself to pay the Stabilize cost to get the minion's body, but sometimes you don't want to pay it in order to just get the Battlecry/Deathrattle effect for the cheapest cost in order to play other important cards as well. This can open up for a lot of skilled plays as the usual ordering of cards is largely tampered by creating the optimal result from Stabilize cards.
Dragonspiral by ZardozSpeaks (post #17)
Dragongrave Explanation
The Dragongrave is a communal graveyard for all dragons that are played during the match. When a dragon is destroyed in the battlefield or discarded from the hand or deck, a portal graphic opens on the battlefield and the card is sucked into it. Just like your deck, you can't look at the Dragongrave during the match, so a player must track what cards are in it. Some cards are able to destroy minions in the Dragongrave.
The Hunter, Shaman and Warlock classes all make use of the Dragongrave mechanic, drawing, activating and destroy the dragons within it.
The Dragongrave mechanic doesn't affect other similar ressurection abilities, like those of N'zoth the Corrupter or Onyx Priest. Such cards work identically to how they worked before.
An Emerald Night's Dream by BatteredBlackCoat (post #13)
Mechanic Explanation
Shifting is a new kind of random effect. When you're holding a Shifting card, the random result will be shown in its card text; and the result changes after you play a card. In this way, the random effect becomes partially controllable to players.
Example:
Token is a mechanic that already exists in game, but it is not yet widely explored. The only existing card that utilizes the mechanic is Open the Waygate. Note that this mechanic is NOT limited to cards in your hand, but also applies to minions on board, such as Imp and Treant.
Showdown at the Battlegrounds by Broek1 (post #9)
Sequencing and Ordering Explanation
In Showdown at the Battlegrounds cards will interact with Horde and Alliance faction symbols showed on the upper left corner on minion cards. These interactions can either be positive or negative depending on what faction is used. Interactions are based on rivalry between factions and teamwork within factions. Both factions have a unique mechanic:

Mechanics Explanations:
In this Nexus of Heroes, battles are settled between units and armies, rather than individual heroes. And in these battles, speed is king. Swift functions like First Strike in other card games like Magic: The Gathering, where, if a minion with Swift attacks or is attacked by something that has less Health than it has Attack, it can potentially come out of battle unscathed. Rush functions like the subset of Charge that Blizzard has brushed against with cards like Charged Devilsaur or the latest version of the Charge spell card. Minion based combat is where the developers have said the game is most fun, and this expansion looks to facilitate that.
Well, my Warrior set was GOING to be about effects that trigger on your opponent's turn, but it looks like Blizzard's KoFT expansion already covers that.
Also, I'm facing some of the toughest competitors.
And I just forgot my keys in my car.
It's a Wonderful Life! XD
Why is the order of the example cards different from the order of the poll above? It's kind of confusing.
THERE IS NO GAME.
Oh nice, I forgot that this round would show our cards like this. I like the idea of slimming down the entries, but is 180 pixel width really necessary? I think 250 would look better, but I've got bad vision, so maybe it's just me. Anyone else find themselves rescaling this page and zooming in to view the cards?
This is my first time being in this particular phase of a large scale competition, so, definitely a service to the other viewers and voters to have things pared down. Speaking of pared down, though, I'm kinda with Zardoz. I like to think my vision is closer to the 20/20 mark, but, for some of the cards that have shrunken text, like Broek's Twin Resurrection or Shadow's Relentless Skelegon or my Argent Mage Knight, 180 might shrink it down too much. 250 would look best, but I think even 200 would be a nice compromise of tidiness and ease of viewing.
I initially figured that the upvotes on the main submission page were irrelevant, especially when everyone was reminded that the upvote system WASN'T what would be used a day or two before the submissions were locked, although I was wondering about how they divided the 18 entries between the two rounds of polling.
I mean, I figured why mine was selected, someone had to be a jobber in a ring with Cogito, Tox, NoBravery and Shadow [/self_deprecation]
HOT TAKE EDIT: Speaking of Tox, hey, Tox, lookat this! The curse of the new expansion drip feed reveal strikes again!
So this is the new discussion thread? Feels weird to not talk about the poll, but I taught myself something neat in Photoshop, how to automate a "contact sheet" of all my cards. I'll toss it in a spoiler, because it's huge. But using the Contact Sheet automation plugin, you can create a handy image with all of your cards, neatly arranged in rows and columns. Very useful for seeing everything at once.

A lot of cool expansions here... I'm going to force myself to vote 1/2 because I really like all of them.
I want a new title, but Flux won't let me have one,

It seems kinda strange why the 3 people with the most votes were put in the same poll :/
There will be like 5 who advance here?
This is gonna be such a tough poll. Considering there's atleast 2-3 expansions here that are better than my own ;(
I want a new title, but Flux won't let me have one,
In answer to some questions:
The order of the poll: I genuinely have no idea why that happened. I was doing it at like 3am, so that must have just been a mistake on my part.
The people in the poll: We decided just to put everyone in at random. Ideally we'd have done some fancy 'all odd entries (by votes) for this poll, all even entries the next' but we wanted to make sure we got it out asap after the delay. With the quality of the expansions this time around, I genuinely don't think it'll matter - everyone seems to have an equal shot, imo.
As a reminder, around 10 people will be advancing to the next round.
Oh, and misspelling of Dalaran - it's fixed on my end >.< Dumb caching issues.
You can find me here! Good luck everyone!
I kind of wish the old discussion thread didn't lock. This doesn't feel like the place for us to keep workshopping new cards for the next round. Also, this thread will lock when Poll 2 goes up in a day or so.
Going to review these entries in Poll 1 later today. This stuff is looking good!
So question: Do you guys count the vote in "Total number" (aka both polls will be counted as 1 poll) or do you guys eliminate separately for each polls?
