Can you also provide statistic's document of points. It would be nice to post it everytime with this final poll as spoiler post. Ty and good luck to all finalists.
Yeah, I disagree with the sentiment's that Petrify and Permafrost are bad designs because of the can't attack thing. If your Felreaver or Bittertide Hydra gets turned into a permanent frozen minion, that's kind of your fault. It's like a Druid whose Living Mana get's devolved of turned into sheep with a kazakus potion. These cards (Felreaver, Bittertide, etc) are purposefully risky cards. They have strong punishes.
I think the various Karazhan Portal cards are more problematic here. I've had my Firelands portal summon a Felreaver and it's absolutely terrible. It's a risk that goes along with Firelands portal (in wild anyway), but the potential power that the card generates is worth the risk.
People have already made the calculation that Felreaver isn't worth the risk (only in Arena did I ever see it work out well), and the aggro druids expirementing with Bittertide Hydra deserve for that to periodically fail quite catastrophically.
Furborg Brew: True that this is Paladin territory, but the Choose One idea makes it less Paladin-y. Well, not really. It's basically a combo piece with Swipe because there are only a few instances when you wouldn't use this to help kill the minion. It really might as well be "Change a minion's health to 1" which is an absolute debuff, not even a conditional one, and basically doesn't fit the class (nor does the name). C
The name dosen't fit?
Fight me.
Well, Furborg != Furbolg.
Unless this is Star Trek, and they're the Borg... but like, the "Fur-Borg".
I can't agree with that. Giving Taunt means that you have to deal with this minion before attacking face or other minions. I assure you if you just refuse to attack the minion with Taunt, it is very probable that your opponent is going to win, because he can have other minions without Taunt and attack your face, while you refuse to attack.
Ah yes, all those times I die from board pressure from freeze mages... why do I even need to attack to begin with when he has a stalled Fel Reaver? I just play 5-10 cards and win.
Oops. Accidentally copied the hearthcards link for my card instead of the imgur link. Doh!
Anyway, had issues with a lot of the cards this time around. I don't like negative health cards (difference over damage is negligible and damage is not a debuff). Too many cards were really buffs that had a use as a debuff. Sorry, Dinosize is not a "debuff" because Deathwing. I also agree with Zukuu that there were too many cards that gave a minion 0/can't attack and taunt. Last, there were a ton of cards that didn't affect the target, but affected only adjacent minions, hero, etc. I didn't think these were really in the spirit of the theme. All that said, I voted for Mind Flay and Hemophobia, which I thought were the most interesting, balanced, and fit the spirit of the theme, with Hemophobia being my fav.
