Hi all! Thanks for checking out my third custom class (feel free to click these links to see my Warden and Slayer classes!). This time, I'm not going to dump a giant mass of cards in a thread, but update as I go. Below you will find the Basic and Classic/Expert sets for a new class, The Mystic. The small lore blurb is totally original; I feel like the concept fits into the WoW universe pretty well, but as far as I know there are no mystics in Azeroth (actually it looks like there are, but they're not like, an organized/united group).
Hope you like, and as always, feedback is greatly appreciated!!!

"The Mystic"
a custom class by Livienna
The Mystics are an order of seers that believe in the power of meditation, devotion, and magic. They take their studies of these subjects seriously, and are rewarded when able to predict the future. Hani Elaena and her sister Saraelia lead the Mystics, who use their vast knowledge and gift of meditative sight to protect their own.
Cool idea- i thin the spell damage shenanigans might get out of hand however. Also Predict might be too powerful- you get to know 3 cards in your opponents deck each time? That seems a bit broken, given how many predict abilities you have.
I really like the idea, flavour, and cards. Just a great class in general!
Though there are a few minor criticisms i have:
Gust of Magicka: I generally don't like it when a card is very similar to the other, which here is the case with Arcane Explosion, but here it's slightly better since you damage face as well. I don't really like this card personally because of that.
Chain of Intuition: Miricle Mystic confirmed! This is a 1 turn auctioneer for 3 mana, this limits design space a ton and you already have a bunch of cheap spells. You might regret making this card later on...
Psychic Fury: Wow! A slightly worse Pyroblast? For just 6 mana!? Eeeeeehm, mabey like 7 or 8 mana? I'm pretty sure you made this card with Fireball in mind but having to of these in your deck would already mean 16 damage + Spell Damage is really unfun to play against.
Elven Oracle: Well that makes it 32 then...
Sage Queen Saraelia: Having the potential to get Spell Damage +9 sure is scary. But i'm not sure if you would play it over Malygos which is Neutral, has 3 more health, isn't battlecry which means you can pull it from your hand, and you're guaranteed his effect. Still a cool card though
And overall the Predict thing might be a little to dependent on RNG since there is a bit of skill to it but most of the time it could just say: "Roll a dice 1-3, if it rolls 1 do this. Though i still like it.
Overall though this is a great class and besides the things i just mentioned it's nearly perfect! very, very good job again!

Thanks for checking out my class!! I hear you... I think it's gonna be very tricky moving forward with this kind of spell damage-focused base set. It's definitely going to be a challenge. And for predict - I feel like beyond a certain point on ladder, you know what kind of archetypes to expect/what cards to expect in those archetypes. So predict would be very useful in the beginning of the game, but a lot less so in mid to late game. Although I can see it being extremely strong at low ranks, like 15+ on ladder. Will def keep that in mind as I try to balance the mechanic! Thanks again for your feedback :D

I totally hear you on Gust of Magicka, and I had the same thought but then... Maelstrom Portal is a thing. I can understand that Gust is kinda awkward in the basic set, though. Chain of Intuition is one of those cards that I will 100% have to keep an eye on as I move forward. There are a lot of those, actually, which is why I'm so hesitant in continuing the class. But I do love a challenge! So we'll see how it goes. Re: Psychic Fury and Elven Oracle... yup. Definitely a major combo class. But you have to dig in your deck to reach all those cards... If anything I could see myself altering Psychic Fury though, for sure. It was always kind of a filler card, and fillers shouldn't stand out as being OP ;) As for Sage Queen Saraelia... I mean, the comparison to Malygos is totally fair... I could see myself upping her to a 10 mana stat line (maybe 10 mana 5/10) so that it can only combo with the Psychic Blast spells and be a little more removed from the Maly comparison. Also yeah, I def thought about that RNG 1-in-3 factor with Predict, but I figured people will want to be greedy with the value/not take the 33% chance. Thats the kinda thing that would need some play testing, I could be totally wrong!
Thanks again for the feedback, I super appreciate it!!!
