The idea for the card is that your opponent HAS to kill it. But he does not really want to, because he loses the potential effect of reducing the cost of his entire deck by (1).
Note: The cost threshold is a permanent effect like Crystal Core and will be applied AFTER all other cost reductions are applied. So no free Giants!
The goal of this legendary is to boost Ramp Druid as well as Malygos Druid as well as making big minions more playable (since, you know, tempo, draw consistency and "you're dead by turn 5 anyway" tend to make big minions with no immediate impact unviable in constructed).
In WoW, Warp Splinter is the final boss of a dungeon called Botanica, which belongs to Sunfury blood elves.
If you swing it right (Ha!), You essentially have a free weapon. However, it's slow as a weapon, and it's at an awkward cost with Truesilver Champion. It gives you a strong push advantage for both Aggro, with the ability to belch minions, or control, making Paladin's massive minions more palatable to play, especially in a hand-pally, heavy taunt deck.
Acolyte of Pain was my obvious inspiration for this card, i like the way players interact with him.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Every aggro player and control player, every warrior and paladin, every facehunter and zoolock, every lepper gnome and firelord lived there -- On a mote of dust, suspended in a sunbeam.
This is my entry to the contest: Sanguine Vision - "You wouldn't normally gaze unceasingly into a crystal swirling with blood mist, but it just seems like a really, really good idea right now."
I imagine this as an Old Gods card, setting up a big C'thun turn or something. My design process was "Whats the most polarizing card i can think of?" So that's why it's also a 9 mana spell, but also a Warlock card so you could say cast it for 2 mana with Bloodbloom. Maybe some Molten giant synergy?? I also think that if you dodge the penalty for revealing your opponents hand by having no cards in hand, this is still balanced, since u spend 9 mana to do nothing on board.
"When afflicted by the Curse, the newborn children of the vrykul of Northrend began to be born stunted and weak. In response, King Ymiron decreed that all malformed infants were to be killed at birth, and that the vrykul would renounce their former gods who had now forsaken them. However, some vrykul parents secretly escorted their children to safety, providing them with limited supplies and leaving them on an unfamiliar shoreline in the land that would later become known as the Eastern Kingdoms. These malformed vrykul children would later become known as humans."

Spells are reduced for both players.
Even if you create new spells, their costs are also reduced.
This card affects both players positively, but should favor the caster as you can run deck based on spells with cabalists tomes.
Not to be confused with his brother, the Master of Singularities.
Summon: "There's some lovely muck down here!"
Attack: "Ooh! You will go nicely in my collection!"
Die: "My trinkets....."
Note: you can play two Master of Oddities since they don't effect each other when they are in your hand.
Is this card strong against Control?
Nope
Combo?
Nope
Aggro?
You bet pal.

We've needed something like this. Shame Rogue got stuff like Anduin here before Priest did!
