Not sure since a lot of stuff rogue does either takes cards from other classes or draws I would be worried that you would end up losing most the cards you played for this reward because your hand got filled already.
I assume you mean add a copy of every card you played this turn to your hand and not "return" as in bounce back with Shadowstep. I was confused and thought it was the second one at first.
But that's just the implementation of the quest mechanic we've seen from Blizzard thus far though. I don't think it's out of the question for them to create triggers that don't generate cards by themselves, but rather are just activators for certain effects.
