That moment when your submission is losing to a monkey with a bomb.
Feelsbadman.
That moment when you're not only losing to the monkey bomber but also to a card that is essentially Gossip Girl.
I feel you man :D
Yeah and also the Healing Rogue card. But that one is cool tho, i don't mind losing out to that.
But a lower healthed worse meme Doomsayer monkey? That bugs me a little.
IMO the monkey is just a poor Doomsayer-clone. Doomsayer is good because it effect is instant (combined with its health pool) and slowing for your opponent. Monkey is just literally a win or lose card in itself. It has no good use in late game, and requires you to use resources to make it useful. I'd even run Corrupting Mist over it.
I'm really enjoying the whole elemental theme from Un'Goro, so for my entry this week I got an Elemental Shaman card that adds a useful element of control if not dealt with quickly. If you got any suggestions for improvements, that would be helpful!

Maybe to make it appeal more, you could give it an art/name change and the elemental tag? That way you could also promote more elemental synergy.
Thats just my suggestion though, I like it as it is now.

It's a neat idea to include this in a Elemental Shaman deck instead of Fire Plume Phoenix. Maybe change it's effect to deal damage after an Elemental is summoned.

Thanks for the ideas, I'll work on it now.
Edit: New card
I like it!! you should fix the spelling on the elemental tag tho ;)

IMO the old one was better. Now it is so strong. Regardless good luck.

That was a close one, no idea why I didn't catch that. Thanks!

Agreed, i'm perfectly fine with that rogue combo-healer. That's a really cool one. I guess a little bugging is inevitable though. But seems like you're catching up a little - i've got some hopes.
By the way - didn't your card transform itself at first or is my memory messed up? I like it more this way, i'm just hoping that doesn't qualify as a reason for disqualification.

I changed it. I realized it did not follow the rules, since it could not trigger twice. The effect in the end is more or less the same, the only difference is that it itself does not transform, and instead summons a different minion. This way it is easier to explain the effect too, and is able to be triggered twice.
If it is against the rules, then i apologise, i would consider this change pretty minor myself, and the change is mostly to make it less confusing, and not break the initial rules.
If the mods should end up removing it, it is allright, i should probaly have texted the mods first. But i just noticed late last night, and were too tired to tell anyone.
Here is an update on my card, getting ready to submit. I changed the wording slightly to try and add clarity -- that spells affected by reduction could trigger the effect, and I bumped it down a tad in stats, given the potency of the effect.
As always, input appreciated.

For this week's challenge I wanted to fall back to my roots and show a little love to all the rogue's out there by offering up a card that should inspire players to pick up something OTHER than the quest rogue deck while still being a viable addition to the marquee archetype. In the short game, this card would add a little pseudo-ramp, or be abused in various combo strategies regardless of card type.
To kickstart the whirlwind you need an existing (0) cost card, of which, rogue has access to plenty (Counterfeit Coin, Preparation, Backstab, Shadowstep...). But once you start accumulating triggers, Yllysia can start counting other cards whose cost has been reduced to (0), allowing her to fuel her own fury, or even borrow a little headwind from other cost reducers, and chain out some massive tempo plays.
Whether you are using her for a midgame gambit, or some late game combo shenanigans, Yllyssia is sure to turn heads wherever she pops up.
thank you, it is a little powerful. i made it 5 mana because i thought it could fit that slot for hunter and only gets the draw effect if the board was cleared, or the hunter trades, both are thing that the hunter doesn't like to do. that is why i thought it needed to be playable on a full board.

This card got problems, both with wording and balance.
We shall start with the wording issues. If we look at Gazlowe we can see several things that your card should copy some of these elements. My personal suggestion would be something like "Whenever you play a 0 - mana card, reduce the cost of the cards in your hand by (1)". The reason for when you shall use the borders and not, are wether the value makes a change in the mana cost or if it just indicated what the mana cost is. This can be proved via Emperor Thaurissan.
I am unsure about the balance, but it FEELS too strong, since the card can be triggerd by reducing 1 mana cost cards to 0 and and continue using that method to make 2-4 mana cost cards free. This would probaly make the Miracle rogue too strong, since you can make key cards free. And on your Miracle turns you would make your entire hand 0 cost, since you usually use 3/4 0 cost cards on these turns.
Its a decent idea, but i would recommend changing the wording, and maybe reconsider the balance.

I agree that the balance can be tricky especially with miracle rogue, but I also feel that the 5 cost, and specific requirement of 0 cost to trigger would make this fair. Miracle would require both this and Gadgetzan Auctioneer in play to reach the critical mass you are concerned about and it would be exceedingly difficult to drop BOTH in the same turn. This could be dropped in the turn preceding Auctioneer, but then it is vulnerable to removal or eats up combo cards to protect itself or try to gain reductions (and auctioneer still only triggers on spells). iI it is later in the game (8+) that it becomes "easy" to use both, you still need to have survived and drawn them and I think that's a fair win (if you don't brick).
As fer as the wording, I don't particularly care about parenthesis or no parenthesis, but I do want it to count reduced cards.
