Hey guys, what do you think of my idea of a new card - a legendary, that negates the first lethal attack.
So here's the idea: This basically works like Kuriboh in Yu-Gi-Oh, If you are familiar with this card, then it's no surprise that this will act similarly. This cute fluffy companion can "jump" onto the board in order to prevent the lethal damage - it doesn't matter, if it's in your hand or your deck. Regarding its effect it will NOT fully function like an ice block, only the first attack will be denied - sorry for repeating myself, but I wanted to be clear.
So let's mention some cons: - Because it serves only one purpose, it takes a card slot from your deck and drawing it would mean drawing a dead card.
If some of you think, that the effect itself is kinda OP (in comparison to Kuriboh), I just wanted to make it playable. So in order to balance it a bit, I would suggest to add an animation at the start at the game, that will indicate, that you run this card. Let's say this little fella hops around the board and into your deck. How can your opponent benefit from this fact? Knowing that killing you means to kill you "twice", they shouldn't allow for a window to be formed, where you can react and kill them or to make your comeback. Your opponent should try to preserve his win condition (I mean by trying to have two finishing blows at the very least).
If this still isn't enough, then I suggest that this card will function only when it's in your hand, but you can get it in the mulligan stage just like the quest cards. That said you will start with one card less, but that's the price of running this card.
Anyway I have a suggestion for it's entrance and so on: Entrance: Someday I'm going to be a hero. Death: I won't let you down, daddy. Attack (when buffed): I did it, I did it.
Edit: I'm not a native speaker, so excuse me for some grammatical errors. I don't own the image of the rabbit, I found it on the internet,
Well made! My concern is that while it can save you in a control matchup from a final Ice Lance or Ragnaros shot, it won't matter much against most lethal aggro turns (being Bloodlust or Pirates). Very interesting nonetheless.
Maybe, but it's also quite possible that after "popping the block" they won't have enough mana for another strike. For me getting an additional turn to react can bring a huge swing - you can go to t6 and use your reno or you will finally have enough mana for that big AoE (like Flamestrike, Twisting nether etc)
