This is VERY strong. I like the idea, super creative, but I would personally like to see it bumped to a higher cost (can bump stats too). Just a matter of not wanting to see this on turn 5. Maybe 7? I also think you could do better with the name and picture, I think your instinct of it being a bit off is correct. Medic suggests healing, not adapting. What about "Charles, Silver Hand Scientist"? Fits better with the Darwin ref ;)
Yeah i agree, Scientist fits perfectly to the card, i can't actually see how i overlooked that.
I don't think its as overpowered as you think tho. The effect is VERY similar to Justicars, with some adaptations being slightly stronger, some being slightly weaker, and some being very close in terms of value.
It has a 2/1 stats decrease from justicar, and costs a mana less. And Justicar sees no play currently, and this is a class card, which gives it about another stat point, which means its two stat points behind Justicar compared to the mana cost. I feel like this is atleast close to closing the gap between the justicar effect, and Charles'.
I'd agree to maybe remove an attack point, or increase the mana cost to 6, but also giving it 3 health to compensate. Elseway i feel like it would be too weak.
The meaning is that this minion will gain a random Adaptation for every friendly beast (himself included)
so if u have 2 beasts and play this he will gain 3 adapt-effect
Is it clear enough?
i think he is balanced around the random effect; maybe i can make a 6/5
Thanks all & good luck
I think, much like Discover, you can't Randomly Adapt. If you're going down this route I don't see the need for it, I'd remove the 'Randomly' and then maybe drop the stat line to a 5/5 or something. Think you'd say it should be value/balanced if you have 2 beasts on the board so try to balance around that maybe?

Btw: Thanks for the review :)
No problem! I would argue however that this is MUCH stronger than justicars. Keep in mind you get to Discover the adaption... let's break it down:
Can't be targeted by spells or Hero Powers. ---> Bad. Only matchup this is okay against is Mage. Otherwise very bad (can't buff your own tokens)
+3 Attack ---> very strong (you wouldn't pick this against mage, but otherwise it is strong.)
Divine Shield ---> very strong.
Deathrattle: Summon two 1/1 Plants. ---> very strong.
Taunt. ---> Honestly, not as bad as it may look on the surface. spawning a 1/1 taunt in the late game can help... instant counter to Deathwing xD
Windfury ---> Not great, but remember you can buff these guys...
+1/+1 ---> 2 mana 2/2 every turn. I'd take it.
+3 Health ---> Not great.
Stealth until your next Turn ---> Not great.
Poisonous ---> VERY strong. if your opponent is not mage, rogue, or druid, this is almost an auto-win. And if they are, at least you're forcing the hero power every turn.
SO, this means that you have a very small chance to get ALL bad choices (there being just 4, as far as I can tell). I won't do the math, but you can if you want haha. And here's the thing, even if you are offered 3 bad choices, some are worse than others. You will NEVER have to pick the faerie dragon effect if you're buffadin, for example. So I'd say if you play this card, you can pretty much guarantee better value than justicar. And it's automatically better than justicar because it's versatile and the advantage can be chosen based on the matchup. Again, I'd say the mana HAS to go up because getting these kinds of advantages on turn 5 feels too strong. Size of the minion almost doesn't even matter... But of course your call ;D

Holy shit. I forgot about Poisonous.
Yeah.... That changes stuff, having a minion every turn, that HAS to be removed is fucking insane... I think i´ll adjust it slightly to match that.
I thought intially that the Deathrattle was the only one going a fair bit over the Justicar value, but having two makes it almost 6/10 chance to get an upgrade that is a fair bit better than the Justicar effect.
Do you think a 7 mana 4/3 will do? Seems slightly more fair now.

I want a new title, but Flux won't let me have one,
I have two random ideas. Let me know if I failed miserably or anything. I'll move the host away from Hearthcards as soon as I get some feedback.
I hope this isn't considered plagiarism, because I had a very similar idea to yours, which pushes towards control Hunter, even though it will be better in Wild due to Reno Jackson rotating out. Anyway here I go:
This makes it harder to OTK, while also giving you an incentive to go a bit longer and let's not forget that King Krush value.
Edit: Well the above was the original idea. After some advice I was given I moved to the following card:
Edit: In hindsight, the duplicate part may be a bit too strong, but keeping in mind that Krul the Unshackled costs 9 mana for a similar summon effect and a big body and that this cards is meant for an OTK deck, that is less consistent than Anyfin Can Happen, I think it is acceptable even though I am obviously open to feedback on balance.
Hey guys i had this idea from a while back in the Make a Card thread. I just wanted to confirm that im not allowed to use it due to its similarity to @Turkeybag 's entry. First come, First served i guess. #Feelsbadman
Probably right. Think with Stealth there's just... too much going on potentially. Probably too much text as there is.
Back to the drawing board. I still like the original idea of something growing in a nest and I'll work with it, just not like this.
How about 1M 0/2 Incubating Egg - "Deathrattle: Summon a 1/2 Raptor and give it +1 Attack for each of your turns this was in the battlefield." This guarantees it'll be a 2/2 Beast with potential to be "stronger" the longer it incubates.

Adapt should be a battlecry. Also I don't like it. The effect is unique but its too slow. You're gonna waste the first 2-4 Adapts trying to hunt down the Attack and Health buffs...
Taking another look at this card this effect is actually too much for 1 mana too.... Anub'arak's deathrattle is worth 2 mana, and the bounce effect is 1.5... This minion's bounce is free... So actually its too strong and too slow? Does that make it balanced? Idk tbh
Kinda reminds me of Jade Idol, but this can't snowball as fast.
I already have 2 ideas I'm between but another name up for grabs for someone to use is "Dinosaurceress" or just "Saurceress". Probably a mage card or something with spells. Enjoy!
@Livienna : Not sure what HitSlender is on about to be honest, it's not okay, it's pretty overpowered. Yes it's weak late game...it's a 2 drop, most 2 drops are. Maybe lower the health to 3 or remove the taunt.
@HitSlender : It's fine? I don't think you need the "3/4" there. It's fine it's just not particularly exciting.
First.. I'm blind. I can't see that it was +2 Attack, thought it was +1 Attack. Secondly, you have a point with shuffling a minion in a deck doesn't describe the stats. I might work on that.
I. LINA MANELLI[6mana 6/5 Legendary Hunter minion] Battlecry: Destroy all Secrets. Summon a 3/2 Bloodfen Raptor for each destroyed Secret.
She's a reference to Lani Minella, the voice actess who accidentaly leaked the Ungoro expansion (== destroyed a Secret). Note that she also destroys your own secrets.
II. SURVIVALISM[2mana Hunter Secret] When your hero is attacked, give it +4 Attack this turn.
It's a defensive secret like Explosive Trap that does more damage because your opponent can play around it by not attacking with minions other than the one who triggered the secret.
III. FOOD CHAIN[5mana Hunter spell] Choose a friendly Beast. Destroy all minions with an Attack inferior or equal to this Beast's Attack.
It's a board clear for Hunter that you can easily exploit since you're likely to have a Beast on board.
IV. ANTIQUE RAPTOR[5mana 3/4 Beast] Battlecry: Discover a Deathrattle effect for this minion (Your opponent can't see it)
Inspired by Unearthed Raptor. The Discover interface will feature deathrattle minions but those minions will NOT be added to your hand, you will just gain their deathrattle. You can surprise your opponent with this card. However the chosen minion will still be revealed when the deathrattle will trigger.
Which is best ? (pls mods no delete these are in text form so they don't take as much space as real cards)
Yeah I'm def leaning towards the Oncurvasaur (hehe). I could be convinced to remove the Taunt (I added that with the idea that it makes it slightly less useless in the late game). No one likes cards that are HUGELY overpowered when played on curve and not so much later, but that's part of the joke. But worth it to try to balance it as much as is possible.
@HitSlender: Hmmmm. Well keep in mind that you're giving yourself the ability to shuffle a Wild card into Standard decks. If you're fine with that, I mean, it's one way to help Deathrattle rogue after the switch! And I def like the flavor of finding his bones in your deck after he dies :D but yeah the wild/standard thing might be a problem for some people.
eta: I think Friendly Raptor may be a bit bland... honestly, it should probably be a common or at least a rare.
Thanks for your reply. A card that is similar to my Rabid Raptor is Ball of Spiders . Despite the tokens being from Naxx, the card is TGT and it still could summon the tokens after the Standard update came. And yes, you got the point of the deathrattle :D Unearthed Raptor is such a good card, but sadly didn't see the play enough, so this is my idea to make Deathrattle Rouge great again. But yeah, I think that the second Raptor isn't going to cut it, despite the uses of a new keyword and a not so good keyword.
I. LINA MANELLI[6mana 6/5 Legendary Hunter minion] Battlecry: Destroy all Secrets. Summon a 3/2 Bloodfen Raptor for each destroyed Secret.

Lina Manelli: Okay, but most of the Hunter secrets you put in a deck usually are good ones and not like Hidden Cache. It's also a better Eater of Secrets.
Survivalism: Reminds me bit of another secret I saw a while back that one the competition that week (think it was surprise attack?). Otherwise, it's a cool and balanced idea.
Food Chain: It's a somewhat similar to Enter the Coliseum but with a guaranteed chance of a beast and minions with an attack similar or higher of surviving, but hunter likely needs some more control board clear other than Explosive Trap.
Antique Raptor: Cool idea with having a neutral minion that can get deathrattles instead of minions. But it might be a problem if you could get a perfect deathrattle like Sylvanas Windrunner.
I should probaly stop filling an entire page every time i make a comment.
Imo, the coolest one is definitely Antique Raptor. Forcing your opponent to trade with you minion in the hopes its not a too bad deathrattle, or scaring them, making them think you have twillight summoners, cairnes or sylvs, whereas you probaly picked a 1/2 deathrattle because the options were shitty.
I'm kinda unsure about the balance tho. I'm not sure if its horribly broken or understatted, because the average deathrattle is hard to define. Especially when you can choose between 3 options.
Tldr: Cool card, i would go with Antique Raptor if i was you. But you have a lot more experience yourself, so who am i to tell you what to do :P
I would personally vote for the card, if thats the one you choose to submit.

I want a new title, but Flux won't let me have one,
The Adapt changes your hero power guys, to a continued value play for the rest of the game, similar to Justicar Trueheart. With the best results being a 1/1 guy with Deathrattle: Summon 2x / 1/1, a standard 4/1 guy, Divine Shield Guy, and the standard 2/2 guy.
The thing i'm mostly unsure about is. Does the flavor and name fit?
This is OBVIOUSLY a futureistic card, with i personally don't find very Silver Hand like.
Is the card fine? Or is there anything about the name/picture that you would change? Or do you simply find it too overpowered?

"Alright recruits take your seats! Today's lesson... Adaptation!"
Majestic Diplo: Neutral cause draw is interesting for every class Friendly Triceratops: for Control Hunter Greedy'saurus: maybe for some crazy aggro style
I REALLY like Majestic Diplo, but I would consider using other art. The fact that there is a city on its back distracts from the design IMO since there is nothing even close to that in the Warcraft lore (to my knowledge), that said its a really fun card and I think you should go through with it. Though Greedy'saurus is also interesting.
Thanks for your reviews, it's appreciated. I saw a perfect Diplo on the frontpage of Hearthpwn.

Here's what i've been cooking up for this week's competition.. It's sort of a control Deathrattle minion for Hunters, i guess.
Maybe I should push the stats a bit with this deathrattle. Or change it to read 'Deathrattle: Silence all minions except Beasts'.
Edit: Just did that.. Older version was 'Deathrattle: Destroy all Secrets on the board.'
Tell me what you guy's think..
