Essentially, a minion version of Kazakus. You Discover 3 times, choosing 3 minions, and then add to your hand a monster that is a combination of the 3 selected with the cost of the middle card. For example, discovering a Boulderfist Ogre for Attack, A Burgly Bully for Health and a Dispatch Kodo for card text would create the monster in the spoiler below.
I decided to go along and create another member of the Mukla family. By filling the opponent's hand with bananas, this will burn at least one card from their deck and maybe more if you are playing a mill deck.
My idea for this week's competition is a Kazakus-like card for the Grimy Goons. Introducing:
Skillfull is not a typo, that's my nick. Also who cares, I'm an armorsmith, not a grammar teacher.
It works similarly as Kazakus. You will first discover the cost of the weapon, then you will discover two effects among many others. I'll put all of them in the spoilers.
Cost and Type of Weapon
Alberth is specialized in swords, so you can choose between three different sized ones.
Crystal Aura Enchantment
This powerful enchantment will protect you from damaging yourself while attacking.
Fiery Flame Blade
Your blade is on fire! This enchantment will make you able to give strenght to a friendly minion through the power of flames.
Rhodium Plating
This process is generally made on gold and precious materials. Through rhodium plating, when your weapon will be destroyed, you will not waste any value.
Steel Forging
Alberth adds steel in the weapon's blade to make it last longer.
Adamantium Bath
Immerging the blade in a hot adamantium bath will make it stronger, heavier and deadlier
.
Sharpening
A sharp blade means that it can pierce shields, dealing damage even against hidden and/or well protected enemies.
Meteorite Impurities
These impurities have magic properties: whenever you attack, the blade will create hot sparks of meteorite material, dealing damage around.
Wind of Death Hex
A powerful hex that envelopes the weapon's blade with a wind of spirits and ghosts. These spirits will kill for you, at the price of your weapon's quality. I have no idea how Alberth is able to use these spells.
Spikes
Sometimes Alberth uses other weapons' old parts to craft his masterpieces. Spikes from an old Death's Bite are applied on your new sword's blade.
This effect means that when the effect triggers, you essentially get an "aura" effect that lasts the rest of the game, where every single Taunt minion on your side of the board has +1/+1, meaning this would be a 3/4 if the effect went off--the stats of a Fierce Monkey. This effects cards like Arcanosmith, Hogger, and Protect the King, where even the tokens have the buff. This also means that Taunts you already have played, like Public Defender, or minions that received Taunt from cards like Sunfury Protector or Defender of Argus, will also gain the buff. Since this will be in a rotation without Brann, there is no way to guarantee stacking this effect, unless you managed to get another Kur'talos Ravencrest in some way, like with I Know a Guy, or Blood Warriors.
Keep in mind: you need to have a Highlander, one-of-each deck (or just draw your duplicates) for this card to work, so you're not going to be able to run two of all the best non-Legendary taunts that Warrior can get. Still, it gives just enough to your Taunt cards to be significant and eventually out-block all your opponent's incoming damage, assuming their damage is in their minions, and assuming you can draw your taunts when you need them.
Lastly, I thought I'd mention something interesting about this card. Twilight Geomancer, a card that doesn't see much play, could potentially be used to not only become a 2-mana 2/5 Taunt, but also essentially read as "Battlecry: Give your C'Thun Taunt and +1/+1 (wherever it is)." Since the effect applies to every Taunt you have, C'Thun would receive an additional buff in that way.
He has pretty decent stats for his cost and a powerful effect for the cost of no duplicates. It also encourages you to use your Hero Power more. Just imagine the value with the old combo of Muster for Battle+Quartermaster for at least 3 4/4s and a 2/5.
An upgrade on Frost Nova, since it also prevents weapons and charge minions. This would be played in a Reno deck to stall for a few turns, in an attempt to offset your draw inconsistency and also help you survive long enough to hit your AOEs.
First i wanted to create a neutral legendary 2/4 minion with the same effect. Then tried the spell and i liked it more. So I was not sure about the class, I wanted to create a 4 mana Kabal spell, but I don't like the idea of a multi-class spell. So I decided to give the spell to the warlock class because its the one that is more likely to take damage.
For the cost is another story: I am still not sure between 3 and 4. I based the cost on unstable portal; 2 mana for a random minion and -3 at it's cost. So I decided to add 1 more mana for the non-random effect and to take off the 3 mana reduction because Reno is a pretty good minion.
I think that the card could be playable but it will never be a substitute of Reno himself.
I've had this idea for a while, and saw it was possible with the recent Spell Brawl. Unlike the Brawl however, you don't discover a copy, you take the actual card from your deck after chosing from the three.

Holy Hilt
Alberth also has a bunch of Truesilver Champions hilts in his laboratory.
This is how the final weapons will look.
Hope you enjoy my creation.
That's how Patches got all those patches
If you think Gorehowl is powerful....

I had some issues with the card's balance.

Useful for both early and lategame, especially in mirror matches or with Justicar Trueheart.
