This weeks theme comes from Telefonkabel, whose "Deep Sea Jones" was the winner of our "Mix and Mingle" competition. This week's a little different, as you'll see below.
Competition-Specific Restrictions:
Your task this week is to create a unique, original keyword. Your keyword should have a short, simple definition, much like the existing keyword definitions in the game. You may elaborate beyond that short, simple definition if necessary, but make sure that the short, simple definition is somehow offset and easily identifiable. For an example using an existing keyword, you might submit something like "Deathrattle (Does something when it dies.)", but you can follow up with an explanation of specific cases, such as the sequence of events involved when multiple Deathrattle minions die or what happens first when something like Bane of Doom kills a Deathrattle minion. (Clarification: No, simply naming "Elusive", "Joust", and other such existing mechanics would not be considered new, unique, or original.) (Tip: You can make those grey, tool-tip keyword boxes here! But as always, see our rule regarding Hearthcards...)
Our competitions usually involve the submission of only one entry card, but this week will be an exception. After all, part of the point of keywords is to be easily applicable to multiple cards. Therefore, this week you must submit three (3) collectible cards that make use of your new keyword. For Deathrattle again, you might submit cards that have or grant Deathrattle, like Loot Hoarder, Ancestral Spirit, or Soul of the Forest, but you could also submit something that interacts with Deathrattle specifically, whether positively or negatively, like Undertaker or Lil' Exorcist.
Because you're already submitting multiple collectible cards as part of your entry, NONE of your cards may produce any unique tokens. This also means that inventing new keywords like Spare Parts is out of the question.
Bad submission formatting will make reviewing submissions very difficult this week. Be courteous and format your entry concisely by sizing your cards appropriately and placing them beside one another rather than in a column or completely separate. The first example below is acceptable while the second is not.
Deathrattle: Look, a keyword!
Soul of the Forest: Look at how nice this is. Hammer of Twilight: All neat, organized, and concise. Twilight Summoner: What a great post.
Deathrattle: Wait, what are you doing?
Seriously, please don't.
This is painful. Why are you doing this?
You are a monster.
Competition Process
Preview Phase (Starts Now! Ends 19:00 UTC 17/November/2016) During this Phase, the Discussion Topic is made available, previewing this week's competition theme. Entry and Early Voting Phase (Starts 19:00 UTC 17/November/2016, Ends 17:00 UTC 21/November/2016) During this Phase, the Submission Topic is made available for your submissions. You may also, of course, feel free to give early up-votes to any submissions that you like! Voting Phase (Starts 17:00 UTC 21/November/2016, Ends 17:00 UTC 22/November/2016) During this Phase, the Submission Topic will be locked, so no more entries may be submitted. Instead, use this time to browse the submissions and up-vote your favorites! Final Phase (Starts 18:00 UTC 22/November/2016, Ends 18:00 UTC 23/November/2016) During this Phase, the Discussion Topic will also be locked, and a new Poll Topic will go up. Discussion will be allowed to continue in the Poll Topic, and it will also include all the qualifying finalists and poll to decide the winner of the competition!
Discussion Topic Rules
To make sure that everything runs smoothly, we need to reserve the Submission Topic for submissions only. Everything else goes here. What is everything else, you might ask?
Rules or Process. Do you have a question about the competition's process? Do you need clarification about one of the entry requirements? Are you not sure whether your entry adhered to the rules? Ask here!
Feedback or Ideas. Do you have some ideas you'd like to run by others before settling on one? Do you need help balancing or wording your entry? Do you need help finding art that will fit your card? Or do you just want feedback from the community on your entry? You're in the right place! Remember, although you are allowed to make minor tweaks to your entry after you've submitted it, you're only allowed one submission per week, so make sure that you've settled on your card for sure beforehand.
Discussion! Do you have thoughts on other people's entries? Are there directions you don't like that you're seeing too many people take? Or directions you'd like to see more people take? Would you like to help others and contribute to a greater community understanding of Hearthstone card design and balance? This is where you want to be!
All of that said, please refrain from the following:
Posting TONS of Ideas. Discussion topics become an absolute mess if everybody is posting a dozen different ideas. Please post not more than 3 distinct ideas at a time. Any more than that and we'll have to delete your post.
Advertising Your Entry. Please don't pop in here just to advertise your entry only to never be heard from again. This includes only asking short, generic, or insincere questions like "Thoughts?" or "Do you think this is interesting?". Yes, getting feedback on your entry is one of the purposes of this topic, but we're not just here for other people to help you. We're here for you all to help each other. 12 hours after this competition begins, there should be plenty of other posts here for you to give specific feedback or for you to comment on a trend. If you post your entry for feedback after this time and do not also offer some form of substantial commentary, critique, or praise of others' work, you may find your post deleted.
Plagiarism. Many people post their ideas here before finalizing them in the submission topic. Directly plagiarizing those ideas to post in the submission topic yourself is absolutely not acceptable.
So, without further ado, have fun and get creating!
I feel like this would be a great chance to bring back my failed adventure cards back from the dead. What would be a good keyword for this? I used to use Scheme, but any alternatives? Focus? It's essentially, "If you have more cards (in hand) than your opponent, do X"

I really love the idea.
For the keyword idea, I think that it should be Greed or something similar
Ok, here it is my idea, I wanted to keep it simple, but fairly easy and understandable, something like a master or teachers, so Leadership is a constant, so it keeps until the minion (weapon) is alive, and it affects only other friendly minions that cost less than that minion, for example, a 3-cost leadership minion will only affect 2,1 and 0 cost minions.
Leadership: Friendly minions that cost less than this minion gain X

Leadership: Friendly minions that cost less than this minion gain X
"gain X" - you mean they gain that when this minion enters battlefield, or have it as long this minion is alive? The second one seems more promising and less overlapping with battlecry.
I've been looking for a good theme for my False Prophet I came up with in Make the Keyword. This is the perfect opportunity, since this is basically Make the Keyword:
Deception is a minion keyword. When you play a minion with Deception: X, the other player will see it as minion X. Once the minion attacks, is attacked, or is targeted by a spell or hero power, then the other player sees what the card really is. From your point of view, you will see the card's true text and stats, but you will see the fake name and art. The card will also glow purple to you, like Shifter Zerus, so that you can easily remember a Deception is occurring. If your opponent tries to play something like Shadow Word: Pain that only works on cards with certain stats and such, it will act like it has the fake stats while the Deception is occurring. Naturally, X has to be a minion with the same cost, otherwise the Deception will be exceedingly obvious when you play it. Here are some examples:
So, what do you guys think? Is False Prophet a good idea? And are the other two cards any good?

Leadership: Friendly minions that cost less than this minion gain X
A bit confusing to read. Reading the cards it sounds like they would be affected by their effects as well. Don't use "this minion" on your cards. Maybe try something like Leadership: Whenever those minions attack... Leadership: Those minions gain charge.
For you last card you would need to rework the whole effect to make it more clear. Leadership: Whenever those minions kill an enemy minion, deal X damage to the enemy hero
Excess damage is not clear. There is no rule for this it could be a mechanic all to itself.

Leadership activates on minion base cost or current cost (reduced)?
Current cost (reduced by -1)
@AndertheMage
Nope, the thing is that it affects minions that cost LESS than this minion (minions cost -1), explained in the example above, so they don´t buff themselves, they buff the thing like "students"
Excess damage is the overlap damage, like Crush in Magic, if a minion with 5 attack is attacking a 3 health minion, it will kill that minion and then deal 2 damage to the enemy hero, like the damage that was left, was used to the enemy hero.
Time to use an idea I've used in a custom class. This is the Ranged keyword. Look at Gladiator's Longbow. What would happen if we made that a keyword? I'm sure we've all thought to ourselves about how Rexxar uses Eaglehorn Bow like a club. This is where the Ranged keyword comes in.
The Ranged keyword is a keyword that applies to weapons, in which when it attacks, you don't take any retaliation damage. You simply just deal the damage and the durability acts as "ammo" in a sense. This opens up a number of different design spaces for weapons. There are some rules about Ranged weapons. It also is very simple and you know what it means exactly when you see it.
Ranged weapons cannot bypass Taunt, just like regular weapons.
Ranged weapons can still be buffed by cards like Upgrade! or Deadly Poison. You however could make some cards that work specifically with Ranged weapons.
Without further ado, here are some example cards:
Trusty Bow: Your very simple Ranged weapon just to show how this works.
Shadow Huntress: A card that allows you to see how a Ranged weapon synergy card could work out like.
Captain Darksails: So this shows how a Neutral synergy card could be made. Ranged weapons don't have to be in Hunter, they could be in any weapon class. During the time this is on the field, you don't take any retaliation damage from attacking with your weapon and cards like my Shadow Huntress card will work with the weapon.
What happens if two or more people come up with the same keyword? Are they both allowed to use it (with different effects presumably), or is the first one to post it the one allowed to use it? :S
Minions with the Burgle keyword ignore minions with Taunt and are able to attack any enemy (minion or hero). Here are a few examples on how Burgle can be used:

I think its a nice concept, however, its balanced pretty poorly, what if the opponent doesn´t has taunt? (Me go face meme here) its just like, useless cards, nice concept, however, the cards are the bad.
And for Death Knight Murglfglhf, its just Deathrattle: Put this minion in your hand, so the When this minion dies, is just useless and fills text.

I'll update the Death Knight Murglfglhf, but I always wanted a way to get around that taunt to get to the minion that mattered. Of course their is silence, though not all heroes gain access to class specific silence spells or minions.
This is the Discussion Topic. The Submission Topic is Here.

I fucking lol'd at the bad example. Half of the submissions will be like this you'll see.
Anyway, here is my idea: Counter-attack, which is burrowed from my troll expansion:
Btw here's the interface I used for the keyword tooltip : http://www.hearthcards.net/tools/
Custom cards :
CLASSES : Alchemist (CCC#5 | Phase V) | Chef (CCC#4)
EXPANSIONS : Year of the Scorpion (Year Comp)
Wait wait wait wait. No tokens?
*uck, I was just already making my card
I have no family, please, help me to get it
The joke is you.

If you got the coin, the Mercenaries get going. Vote for The Mercenary for CCC #3.
Oh, where there is a page for making the keywords? I remember using it before, however, I missed it.

Extort: at the end of your opponents turn, if they did not use their hero power, do X.
ill be back with cards later
