Hello everybody, like a lot of people here I've created a unique topic to dump all my cards that doesn't fit into a particular expansion/adventure/class.
I will regularily post a few cards (5-6) with a common theme which I think is the best way to dump cards.
My cards by theme:
#1 - Druid cards that give your hero Attack :
Punching Treant
Tempo card that allows you to kill your opponent's turn 1 minion while getting one himself.
A flexible attack-giving card. First option is the same as Feral Rage and second is more peculiar. You can use it in combination with other attack-boosting card for multiple minion clear or burst damage. I know +1 Attack and Windfury might suck in most situations but I was forced to make it that weak due to the burst potential of it.
Mangle
Druid lacks board clears, I gave them this one that stays in the druid fantasy of giving your hero attack.
Inspired by Wrathguard. Unlike him though, Ashen Abbess deals to your hero the damage she deals, NOT the damage she takes! This makes her less vulnerable to the infamous Shield Slam OTK. She is the kind of minions priest lacks, stuff capable to take the board early to make room for big stuff. I'd avoid buffing her too much though.
Shadowy Apparitions
(If you think text color on this card looks blacker than other cards it's normal. This is an old card and Hearthcards did this a long time ago).
Based on the eponymous WoW Shadow Priest talent. This is basically "Muster for Shadows" and gives priest a good and early board presence.
Void Eruption
An alternative and quickier way to switch to Shadowform. Shadowform is useless because by the time you can cast it safely, it becomes useless. Void Eruption, however, can give you lots of tempo but requires to play an aggressive deck that with lots of cycle.
Natalie Seline
Yet another way to switch to Shadowform, exploiting Prince Malchezaar's "when the game starts" mechanic at a cost. She also has aggressive stats that fit an aggressive strategy.
#3 - Face is NOT the place (anti-aggro cards)
Most good anti-aggro cards have the disadvantage of either being too slow, too clumsy or paradoxically used by aggro itself instead (e.g. Arcanite Reaper). Here are some cards which I hope don't have those drawbacks.
Notice that all of them are neutrals and commons, the dust price of control cards being one of the reason why control is marginal.
Rangari Bodyguard
Early taunt minion with above average stats that can't be used by aggro to take value trades.
Leatherworker
Yes the artwork is absolute fanservice. Armor is the single best counter to burst decks but sadly it is limited to warriors, so here it is, neutral armor with a solid taunt body. Yes, it also armors your opponent but against aggro you don't really care.
Riverpaw Scout
To get rid of sticky turn 1 aggro minions. The target is random which means it can't be used by aggro itself since it may kill it's own minions.
Riverpaw Berserker
Same thing for the 2-slot. With their first two turns countered, aggro is significantly weakened.
Gilnean Commando
A 2-mana Icehowl that acts as a removal. It behaves like a neutral Darkbomb in most cases but if you're lucky you can kill a Trogg/Wyrm/Northshire with it and still re-use it afterwards.
Ruby Dragon
Neutral healing for dragon decks which might allow them to last longer if they had bad draws.
A flexible attack-giving card. First option is the same as Feral Rage and second is more peculiar. You can use it in combination with other attack-boosting card for multiple minion clear or burst damage. all of these cards are either overstated or in the case of Natalie Seline their downside is an up side.
Natalie Seline's effect discards you random cards. For the rest, please elaborate.
they just have an extra stat point or two then they should have:
peck = otk+insaine removal
ashen abbess is obvious
rangari is actually underpowered now that I think about it but can't be made more powerful because then it would be op
also discarding five random cards could make your deck more reliable, plus it's more of a control card
Ashen Abbess is OP in the same way that Unlicensed Apothecary is OP. 5/5 stats on a 3-mana card isn't that ridiculous as you think it is, and the drawback on the card is massive. I don't think you realize how much damage the Priest would be taking. Let's say a Warlock has a bunch of 1/1s on the board, and he trades 5 of them into Ashen Abbess. The Priest loses 25 health.
Natalie Seline is definitely not a control card. Accidentally discarding your Reno Jackson, Ysera, Kazakus, etc would be devastating, you're then 5 cards ahead in fatigue, and it's totally not worth the effect of this card. And then when you draw the card, a 6-mana 8/5 isn't that great to play at all (see Core Hound).
The discarding of 5 random cards doesn't make a difference in an aggro deck. It doesn't harm it like it would a control deck, but it does not help make the deck more "reliable". Just because your deck has less cards in it, it doesn't mean that you're more likely to draw double Mind Blast or whatever you need to draw. All this card does is guarantee that you have a powerful hero power at the start of the game so your Lesser Heal isn't being worthless.
As for Peck, it is possible to do a 3-card, 9-mana, 18-damage combo with Peck+Feral Rage+Feral Rage... I think this could be a problem, but like Leeroy combos, it's countered by Taunt, so I don't see this as a huge concern. There are other combos that Druid can do with Malygos that do similar damage and can ignore Taunt. Although, out of all your concerns, this is probably the most valid.

I just noticed a loophole in my Ashen Abbess. Worded as it is, it would work like Auchenai + Mistress and insta-kill you. I have to change that.
As for Peck, yes it can be used for OTK but I doubt it would be worse than any of the combos involving Kun.
