As you all know, hearthstone has a large, dedicated, and above all creative fan-base. Hearthstone players have made a slew of interesting and well-designed cards over the years, and if you had a choice to pick some fan-made cards to actually be implemented in the game, what would you choose? A lot of people in the community have issues with the current meta, and there's also a lot of different archetypes, that frustratingly are just out of reach of viability. It'd be cool to see what people have thought of in the past that might be more relevant now. Keep in mind that hearthstone players are also notoriously bad at balance sometimes, so if you do choose a card, please try to make small balance changes, because while a lot of cards might have a really awesome and cool effect, it might end up being too much for its cost.
The card I chose is Sen'jin, a card made by Kripp the beginning of this year in this video. I liked its effect because it pushes a shaman archetype that is uncommon and I happen to enjoy: Control Shaman. Control shaman is almost there in terms of viabiltiy, so a card like this might end up making control shaman by providing something that it currently has trouble with, consistent healing. I however did note that it was kind of problematic in its current state, so I made some changes.
I made several minor balance changes, most noticeably by removing the DR and adding it to the battlecry. This is both a downgrade and an upgrade. This makes it immune to silence, and it also synergizes with Brann Bronzebeard, which is way better than its DR counterpart Baron Rivendare IMO. On the other hand it doesn't synergize with Reincarnate and N'Zoth, the Corruptor, which is mainly why I changed it. I also removed the targetabilty of the healing an decreased his health. I gave him taunt to make up for these changes, as in my opinion the combination of taunt and healing is very powerful.
Anyway I'm interested in seeing what cards you guys find :)
Note: This thread is meant for past submissions by other people. Try not to post your own stuff here, though if it was something you made for an old card design competition that's fine.
