Benevolent Martyr seems op for 1-mana. What if instead of 'give a minion', it were 'restore X health to ' or 'heal for X health'?
Battlemage seems like it would be very difficult to get value out of this card. I see pay 3 mana do 2 damage.
For 1 mana, you can already cast Power Word: Shield to give a minion, of your choice, +2 health and draw a card. To compensate for targetting a random minion, I don't see how I could nerf Benevolent Martyr. It would be way worse than either Flash Heal or Power Word: Shield if it restored 5 health to a random friendly minion.
I don't understand why you see pay 3 mana do 2 damage. You get a 3/2 minion out of this, which is worth 2 mana. So, you pay 1 mana to do 2 damage with the weapon and potentially more if your opponent is unable to immediately kill your minion. You also can't balance this against just dealing 2 damage because it can potentially deal up to 6, even if it might be difficult to do so. An easy combo to do that would be Battlemage+Youthful Brewmaster. You also don't get as much value when you combine effects into one minion.
Dark Tempter would essentially be a card you just play when you have seven mana to refill your hand with next to no drawback unless the match drags on. What a bargain. Silence it and you basically get to draw five cards per turn.
My initial idea. Not sure if the wording is clear enough, if it's fun enough, if it's balanced enough and if the flavor is clear enough :) ?
Never seen this kind of mechanic, very clever I like it !
Wouldn't the proper wording be "Deathrattle: Give all this minion buffs to a random friendly minion."? But "buff" isn't a word we've yet seen in the game for cards that enchants another, so idk.
Ah yes, the classic tale of apparent suicide into actual suicide into actual suicide.
Is there a non-wordy way of giving both the minion and the lover the deathrattle? It'd be a bit more flavorful if either minion's death caused the other to die.
I made this for the adventure competition, but it fits into this one as well. It's a versatile 2-drop for priest. What do you guys think? (I'll remove the fairy tag later).
@ The Enigma thing: Battlecries always trigger before the minion actually hits the field, so you don't need that first sentence. I'd reword it to 'Battlecry and Deathrattle: Destroy all minions'. As for the balance, I reckon it's a bit too powerful.
The idea of this card is to make more spider oriented card for Hunter. This is the fruit of my selfish desire to play Spider themed deck for Hunter on Wild. There are many cards that have Spider theme on it (Webspinner, Haunted Creeper, Pantry Spider, Tomb Spider, Infested Wolf, Infest, Ball of Spiders, Maexxna) so adding another one will make my dream of Spider Hunter deck come true.
So, I wanted to do a couple of things with this card. first, was to give priest some Shadowform support. The second was to give them a little help in the 3-drop department. While 1/5 for 3 is not particularly good, it synergizes with Inner Fire, which is always a good thing. finally, I just wanted there to be another low-cost legendary that is actually not bad to play. 30 legendary decks need some support too.

These were my first ideas, based on something I've been batting around for a bit.
First, a Moat Lurker-y tool to enable combos. Not sure how OP/UP this is, the numbers are more of a rough guesstimate:
If you know a way to cut the wording down to avoid the overlap that'd be very welcome.
My other idea was for a (balanced??) 7/7 for 4:
Tried to give back what Rogue can't use anymore, Blade Flurry
Giving the option to kill single minion, board clear or both!
The weapon deathrattle can be easily used with Rogue Hero Power.
Another 1 mana spell for miracle rogue? Or give Pirate rogue more depth with Captain Greenskin and Bloodsail Cultist for a stronger board clear.
Might be too strong for what it provides, what do you guys think?

My first idea. Feels too wordy, and the text doesn't fit, so it probably won't be used, but still, thought I'd post it.

So how is this?

This was my first idea. Thoughts?
The idea is it saps the enemy's will to fight and uses it to empower an ally.
Huge tempo swing card, that swings the tempo back to the opponent even harder when she dies. At least unless you use that sick Purify synergy.
I wonder whether this meets the requirements of the competition...
THERE IS NO GAME.

Why Rogue is my favourite class:

So what do you guys think of my card?
How's this? Is Lord Maxwell Tyrosus a better candidate for the effect?
I wanted to give N'Zoth Paladin a thing to lean to, other than Tirion Fordring.
