With this card you get the same deal as Paladins Dragon Consort, it's a one time ONLY effect. It stacks with Brann Bronzebeard and will make your opponent think twice before attacking you or dealing any source of damage to your Hero.
It really suits the rules for this week as well as the Mage class in a whole. I'm happy with the result and the balance.
Example rule: Play Mage of Martyr then use your own Heropower on your self will add a random 1 mana spell to your hand; or your opponent attacks you with an King Krush, add a random spell that costs 8 to your hand. Cards that do beyond 10 damage won't give you any spell since there are non above 10 mana.
the warlock has a lot of cards to damage himself , even hero power and the spell is not restricted only to your turn, i see this on par with Hunter's Mark
Damage dealt by this card to an hero is affected by Spell Damage.
Bear Trap, Explosive Trap, Freezing Trap (if attacking the enemy hero), Misdirection, Ice Barrier, Vaporize are not triggered.
Hallazeal the Ascended will restore Health to your Hero if Jones Hyena attacks the enemy hero.
Attacking does not count has casting, so cards that interact with "casting a Spell" will not work.
Prophet Velen double Jones's damage dealt to heroes.
Attacking an hero is not considered "attacking" in a real sense, so cards like Blessing of Wisdom and Power Word: Glory will not trigger.
If Jones attacks an hero while this control Bolf Ramshield, this one will take damage as if Jones were a Spell.
If Jones attacks a Wrathguard, Wrathguard's controller will get damage as if Jones WEREN'T a Spell.
All of the above are applied when a hero attacks Jones.
Any Attack buff on Jones is considered in the damage calculation when it attacks an hero, EXCEPT FOR AURA EFFECTS, like Dire Wolf Alpha or Stormwind Champion.
This week while looking through the Battle.net art gallery I came across this interesting piece and when I saw this week's rules I got this. Death from Above is a Rouge ability in which they perform an small AoE attack then jump into the air and eviscerate their target forcefully. This is represented in the card as first it will be an AoE then if you combo it off, you will do a forceful Eviscerate to the enemy hero. Hope you like it as I do know Blade Flurry is just terrible I thought this would be interesting as a new AoE.
Annoyed with a 4 mana 7/7? How about a 4 mana 8/8? Gives priest a crazy strong tool to control the board, but you can't capitalize on that board control without killing him.
A Health oriented Loatheb. It doesn't lock down spells that good (Health loss on hero is not as bad as the tempo loss of 5 Mana), but it work against minions too. Works in all types of warlock deck.
Update: Balanced a bit
Update2: Decide to made him a Neutral. In Lore, this bugger went back and forth between Legion and Old God, so I think tying him with warlock is a bit weird despite him being a Demon.
Deals three damage to anything that attacks your hero, losing a point of Durability each time. Has the 'closed lid' graphic during your own turn the way weapons normally do on the opponent's turn.

If you got the coin, the Mercenaries get going. Vote for The Mercenary for CCC #3.
My weekly submission. Strong two for one, and offers Rouge some more potential. Good luck!

Very specific to Injured Kvaldir, Injured Blademaster, Imp Master & Wild Pyromancer which are the only minions that damage themselves in the game currently.
Updated for clearly mentioning "Attack damage".
The Coin
It work with AOE Spells too, like Consecration .
My magic will tear you apart!
Since the 4 drop 7/7 shaman card is so much in the picture nowadays:
So it cannot passes cards with taunt.
Note that the stats don't swap until after the hero is attacked, and only if a hero is attacked.
Flavor text: Pointy side away from body.
